The ac was constantly turning off and would randomly come back on for 30 seconds. It was blasting hot air at my feet the entire time. Truck was extremely dirty in the back when I got it. Trash inside the cabin. The people working are very nice but the truck was not in good shape at all kinda bothered I paid 1.09 a mile for a truck that made me sweat more than moving I was doing.Christian C.

The office appeared messy and it was difficult to know if you I was in the right place. It looked like they had just moved in. Further, I had reserved a dolly but they didn't have any upon my arrival, so that was disappointing. when I complained about the condition of the vehicle, I was told they were not allowed to wash the vehicles. I had to spit on a rag and wipe the side windows and mirrors to be able to drive it out of the parking lot.Jim C.

Truck would not start at end of day, eta for mechanic over 90 per uhaul, advised to purchase battery by uhaul customer service and submit reciept and will be reimbursed. Reciept submitted and still no reimbursement for battery.Christopher S.

My location got changed last second to this one. It was supposed to be in Simi Valley, I understand that stuff happens but there was no phone call or explanation that this was a possibility of happening. We got a text message and called to see what was going on and talked to a young man that told us that just because we â€œreserved a uhaulâ€ doesn't mean it will be available, it just means that our information was received and a uhaul was requested and that they could change the location due to unforeseen circumstances. That was not told to us beforehand and was very confusing. Then when we got to the uhaul in Thousand Oaks, the young man and a young lady were there. The place is a mess, doesn't even look like an office. The young man was wearing his hood up (it was 80+ degrees outside) and was very sassy to us. We asked if we could get the mattress bag that we had already paid for and they said they could add one to the order (they were going to make us pay for it) turns out they would not give us one because we had purchased it from the Simi Valley location (and then they changed the location on us). So no mattress bag unless we wanted to drive to that location also. Then we told them we reserved an appliance dolly and the young man pretty much told us we weren't getting one and was arguing with us about it. The young lady said they DID have one available and wheeled it out for us. The young man is a complete punk. Very argumentative, very unprofessional, very rude and unapologetic. I've never had customer service this bad especially when we were the ones being put out over this whole thing. I work at Costco and I know how important customer service is. I'll never be using this location and will most likely avoid uhaul in the future.Jennifer C.

He was such a hard worker and was extremely helpful. The phone was ringing off the hook and the poor guy was handling everything all by himself. There should be two people working because he was doing the job of 3 people. I don't remember his name, but an incredible employee.Matthew W.

The gas gauge is broken or was stuck while I filled the gas tank to deliver the truck with the same gas level as when given to me. I ended up paying $155 in gas which was an overfill because the gauge did not move to the actual gas level until i restarted the truck a few times. I reported this issue to Josephina at corporate, but no refund thus far. How can this get resolved? I'm a frequent user of your monthly storage and rentals. 310-351-8684 - SteveSTEVE A.

Our unit was infested with rat poop and they refused to call the other unties to notify them or us that there was an issue and failed to rectify the situation or compensate us for damages They keep their storage units so dark and don't have any pest control. They need to be held accountable for the damages done to my belongings. Have vehicles thoroughly checked before renting. My rental I turned in today had to have two quarts of oil added 60 mins. after I rented it and drove off the lot. I was waiting 2 1/2 hours for UHaul Emergency Road service. I missed a Fathers Day party because of this.John K.

Excellent service representative, very pleasant and helpful. I liked your self help video on connecting the trailer, but ot didn't show how to disconnect and it was a bit of a problem. The tongue of the trailer was stuck on the hitch and would not lift off. Fortunately the representative was able to give the trailer a strong tug and it opened up the tongue.
