Fuel was below documented level. Cargo area was strewn with dirt, grease and grass. Although reserved, the appliance dolly was not available. Person at counter said no one told him a dolly was on the reservation and I could try another U-Haul location. In an ideal customer service experience, the agent should have attempted to find one for me. I called the U-Haul number and the answering agent was very pleasant and found a local U-Haul center that had a dolly and increased mileage for the move. Having used U-Haul on multiple occasions over the decades, this was the worst experience with the company.

RAMON CFirst when I made my reservation I had 10" truck but few hours later was changed and not told to me but I had to notice my reservation was changed then when I got to the location to pick up they took horrible long time to check me in and then wasn't told the price the service and later found out that the quote I was given wasn't honored and I was charged three time amount I was quoted. Then the truck when turned on sounds horrible as if the transmission was out to go out. I had to use the truck to simply move couch one city to the next and don't get my started on reverse on this truck which was totally messed up. I will not be renting again and I'm very very pist of the prices I was charged without even being told or asked if it was ok to charge me.

ROBERT FThe dolly not strapped securely. The truck driver door not closing completely I had reserved the truck initially on Saturday 8 AM. It seem central reservation system changed the truck hold to near by city. When checked Saturday morning it is also not available. I have to reserve one more and postpone my move to next day afternoon. I have to pay my movers twice due to this inconvenience

DEMEDA SWhen I arrived to pick up the U-Haul, nothing was ready. It took him 30 minutes to get everything around and get loaded into the truck and then they had me do some of the loading.

Donna AMy reservation pick up location was changed several times in the few days prior due to miscommunication between UHaul personnel. We were unsure what city to drive to up until the very morning of pick up. Most unsettling.
LUANNA SThey screwed me over by not providing me with the equipment I booked. They didn't tell me until the morning of when I showed up, that they didn't have what I booked. The office was gross and grimy, and the truck I rented was nasty. It was clearly never cleaned out or even looked at. In the cab, there was spilled liquid, crumbs everywhere and even used tissues in the door handle. The back of the truck also had garbage everywhere. If was covered in dirt and crumbs and loose pieces of trash. A terrible experience overall, should be getting money back for how awful this was

LEONCIO GWe were given a truck with less than 1/4 tank of gas in it. THey didn't have supplies we had reserved. The office was tiny and in a noisy bowling alley with no parking. Then they charged us for 8 gallons of gas!!

EMILITO CI received a call from the store letting me know the unit I rented had not yet been dropped off and the nearest one was in modesto, I let her know that location was too far for me. She then mentioned another unit was available but that I would not be able to keep it as long as i had originally rented the unit for since another customer was picking up at 4pm. I come in to get the unit I asked the person at the desk if I need to do anything else and he says no - the unit is ready to go so i drive away. I then receive a phone call at 2:50pm confirming that I am returning the unit, even though i still had it until 4pm. I drop the unit off at 3pm and ask the person at the desk if i need to do anything else to confirm the drop off and says no you are good to go. I then receive a charge on my card for $200 dollars, saying I drove over 134 miles, when I literaly mapped the location pick up to my home and then to the storage place and it is under 40 miles altogether, lets give it a few miles extra just in case and say 45-50 - not 134 miles -
