Michael gI want to personally acknowledge Doug the logistics manager. I had difficulty with making the reservation with UHaul, however, he was able to work things out to make sure we got the truck. He was very professional and understood the issues we had in making the arrangements.

ROYTYLER SYou need to get trucks in my state. I really needed a 20’ truck and they told me I would have to drive and extra 240 miles for it. That’s not right. Dawn at west end auto went way out of her way to atleast get me a 15’ truck. I rent a truck every month to use for our food bank at church. I may have to look at other alternatives if it gets any harder to get what we need. Again, Dawn at west End Auto is great and you are fortunate to have them as uhaul dealers.

JAMES SI ordered a 6x12 trailer in August for Johnson City ,N.Y. I had to travel 50 miles one way to get the trailer in Hancock NY. The place was small, congested and a side bar for the building. My email didn't come through and the return location was incorrect. JC was good but because they didn't have what I ordered I was not happy. The return u-haul location was excellent in every way.

James MNeed to be up front about the pickup location's schedule. West Main Auto Repair was closed when I was supposed to get the truck. It was a huge hassle. Also - the transmission of the truck was in pretty bad shape. Not safe.

fred sMy complaint is not with this UHaul vendor. Dawn was very helpful. What I am very annoyed at is that UHaul accepted my reservation for a one-way rental from Hancock NY to Watkins Glen NY. However, two days before the pickup date I received a text that my pickup location had been changed to a different vendor an hour away. When I called the vendor in Hancock, they told me they don't see the online reservations until the last minute and that they don't have a one-way truck to rent at their location. It seems there is no communication between the UHaul corporate people and their vendors. A screwy and annoying business model. Lesson learned: Always call the local vendor directly from the start and avoid the online reservation system...
Larry FPicking up the truck was incredibly difficult. It was not the fault of west main auto, but of the not so user friendly unorganized tech of u Haul. Upon signing into the website, it states that my contract had expired. My pickup was for 8 am and I arrived around 10:30 am. Then there was 2 contract reservations. This was all at a location where it was closed.
