First, Uhaul online scheduling sent me out of my way to pick up a trailer needed when there was one 15 miles closer. Second, this was a used car lot that was not open consistently throughout the day. Even hard to reach via phone. Third, Uhaul web based system caused so many issues the person had to call supervisor several times to complete transaction. Total process took approx. 1.5 hours just to pick up the trailer.William C.

The main issue I had with this location, was that my reservation was at 9:30. I was a little late (9:45), but there was no one there that could help me. The one person that was in charge of the UHaul equipment rental, had gone to do something for his main business. Also, on the office, it claimed that the office wasn't even open until 10:00. I think there may be a disconnect with the website and the location. I should probably not be able to reserve something for picking up at 9:00 (the earliest the website allowed me to pick it up) if the location doesn't open until 10:00. We needed the truck for moving some stuff from my father-in-law's house, who lives 2.5 hours away from us, and this location was 30 minutes from where he lived. Originally, we had planned on leaving our house early that morning, with our two young children, and picking up the truck on the way. We decided not to do that, but if we had, we would have been stuck here for an hour and a half waiting, after waking up early to get there. I would've been much more frustrated if that happened. Nevertheless, it was frustrating to get somewhere, and the person who was in charge wasn't there to help, and the person that was in the office didn't know when he might return.Jason M.

Thanks much to the guys at West End Motors! They gave me a great 26' Ford F650 truck which had about 17k miles on it (when I started out on my 2200 mile journey). The truck had a nice quiet ride and seemed to be in excellent condition. I averaged 8.0 mpg on my trip with probably a half-loaded truck... not too bad for a gas motor. Thanks againWilliam R.

This location was the second place we tried to drop the truck off. The first had gone out of business and not reported to you. We called the Norfolk location where we had gotten the truck. The lady service person found us the Damascus location and talked to the owner who told her he would be there until 4:00 p.m. We arrived at 3:40 and no one was there. Luckly I had gotten his phone # from the person and Norfolk and called him. He told me to just deposit key and order in box and he would put the info in the next day. Although that was simple, I did not like that he had said he would be there and wasn't. If I had not asked for his phone number, he would not have been helpful at all. That's why I scored him not helpful. I was concerned about the dolly and furniture pads being left in the back unlock. There was an unknown person nearby. I did take pictures the way the online video showed to take, just in case there was a problem. If a service person says they are going to be there until a certain time, they showed be there. Very friendly gentleman, had everything ready, also made adjustments in pick-up date because of bad weather. The 20 ft truck appeared to have a lot of wear and tear, over 77,000 miles. Clean inside, muddy outside. However it ran and drove well for over 650 miles.william L.

Cab was filled with spider webs and I have to drive 45 mins to pick up and come back to load then go to Kingsport Tn. I prepaid for extra day and was charged again to my debit card. Which I will expect this fee returned. Sign in uhaul business states guaranteed reservation, pickup location, or $ 50.00 given. This did not happen. I need someone to contact me ASAP for fees reimbursed to me.Judy M.

I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, as well as reviewing the Uhaul site for the poor experience. I tried to reach out to the regional manager but they never got back to us after two emails were sent... Absolutely unacceptable!!!HARMONY S.

The biggest problem I had is that this location is 40 miles away from where I wanted to pick up the truck. There was a local U-Haul 2 miles from the house and I had to drive 40 miles one way to get the truck and 40 miles back to the house. Then I had to call and get U-Haul to add 80 miles to the mileage because this location was 40 miles closer to my destination and they didn't cover the 80 mile round trip to drive back to the house and then drive by this location on the way to my destination. Any I had to go to another location 20 miles away to get pads because none of the local U-Hauls had any pads. Not a very good experience at all. At least they did knock some money off the rental to pay for the extra gas. Next time I think I'll check Budget and Penske, especially since they offer unlimited mileage for the move plus they are cheaper and if I have to drive 40 miles out of my way anyway to get the truck what difference does it make if they don't have a local location?Tony D.

At first I was pleased then I was told to return it on Monday, I returned the trailer on Monday at noon I was told I would not be charged for the weekend due to the fact it wasn't the trailer I reserved or the location I use uhaul a lot but now I am contemplating using another serviceterry P.

Worst consumer experience of my life. Owner arrived 45 minutes after scheduled pick-up time stating employees daughter was having baby and he had to make 'special trip' because of us. Did not have dollys or furniture pads I had reserved a week prior then became furious when questioned about it. Told me to "get out of his store and tell u haul to get me a DAMN truck elsewhere AND I don't have to put up with this SHIT".I at NO point used language like that towards him. Told us he had no dollys or pads and that he only made 15$ on a one way trip anyway. Had to BEG this man to rent us the truck we had again reserved a week prior. Had prepaid movers to meet us at 10, and we're paying the by the hour. We were late returning because we sat on his lot for an hour. Rented us the wrong truck which made check in a nightmare too. Worst customer experience of my life. Lifelong loyal u haul customer but will consider Ryder next time solely based on this experience. Poor choice u haul in the face that represents you.joseph G.

Personel late in opening , they stated that their computer had been taken home and I would have to wait 1 hour till it was brought back. I talked to customer service and they did the contract over the phone 30 mins. Later.ARNOLD J.

this facility helped me alot, considering that the Nanuet NY facilty due to their lack of information their equipment caused damage to my car. Had to turn in the 6x8 trailer and rent a truck with a car trailer. Needless to say I spent well above what I wanted to. The only problem I had with this facility is that the truck they gave the front right tire was about to explode and had to pull over in Tennesse for road service to change the tire. Overall this trio and my experience with Uhaul was tragic. And now have to jump through hoops to try and get financial compensation due to their poor judgement and lack of information !!mesorana L.
At least this facility and the reps here were alot more helpful and way more informed. Even they told me that the Nanuet uHaul was never to have let pull off with that 6x8 trailer. They did all they could to help me continue my trip and make it homeLUIS M.

Local agents were very helpful and service oriented. I reserved a truck, however, for pick-up in Bristol. Because of poor scheduling by U-Haul, I very nearly did not have a truck at all, and I had to make a 1.5 hr round-trip journey to pick up the only truck available. Apparently, a confirmed reservation means very little to U-Haul. The regional reservation agent with whom I spoke over the phone was also less than helpful and seemed not to be at all interested in quality customer service.Thomas R.
