Charles SThe associate was extremely rude and attempted to make me wait, until 9:30-10. His exact words, “you were late, now you wait. I’m like a doctor during flu season, everyone wants my attention.” I said “sir, I am moving my mother to Ohio, I was five minutes late. The situation I am working with is not ideal, can you have some compassion?” HE HUNG UP!!! I called the 800 number for Uhaul, they were changing our pick up location and he called as soon as we pulled out of the parking lot and came back.
David mTrailer appeared a little older that trailers I've used before, the method for attaching straps to the wall required me to remove hooks and tie the strap. Only had rings in the corners on the floor, so couldn't use them to secure my belongings. I was able to make it work, but took a little longer than usual. Couldn't use bungy cords, so used rope instead.
Russell HI had the truck for 2 hrs and never even raised the back. But, I was charged $257. I put 40 miles on it and filled back with gas. What happened to $39.95 a day?
Robert DThere is inadequate space to maneuver larger sized trucks. When I entered I attempted to drive around the storage buildings only to find that the facility did not have adequate roadways and clearance to turn the 26 foot truck. I ended up have to back up and then have my son ground guide me as I made an extremely tight turnaround.
CHARLES SI have used U-Haul in the past with a lot of bad experience. This place was not the norm.

CHRISTOPHER GI rented a 6x12 Cargo Trailer and I have a 2019 Chevrolet truck with a factory towing package , the brake lights and blinker lights both worked on the trailer but that was all of the lights that worked . We were moving this past weekend so some of the move it was dark and I was unable to utilize the trailer after dark.

Jeremy GI made a non-contact reservation that allowed 50 miles and paid on my phone as I checked in. I was forced to go inside the building as there were no further instructions after check in. The man at the desk said that since I had driven to a further location I was allowed 20 more miles to make up for the drive. He then told me I owed more money. I told him I had just paid and showed that it was in fact taken from my bank. He stated that he did not know what the charge was for and I had a balance of $40. Turns out he forced me to have insurance on the truck and trailer which I had said NO to on my online reservation. He also changed my 50 miles to 30. I went over by 18 miles and was charged an extra day because the drop off location is a dead zone for my cell phone! No one answered the 1800 number to help with my return either. Now I’ve been charged almost $300!! It was supposed to only be 150. Absolutely ridiculous.

winter wMy experience was problem free. I was late picking up the trailer but the guy was still super nice to me and so helpful. Pulled it from Alabama to California and never had a single problem. When I dropped it off in California i didn't even have to get out of my car. Was great.

Billy BThe rental associate was awesome however, again the system is broken I rented vehicle and tow dolley same day same location upon completion of my move I was told that I owed for being late with one of the 2 pieces of equipment so does that pass the common sense test? no!!! The associate at this location took initiative and fixed the problem. Again Uhaul for as big of a company and moving reputation needs to up their technology game there os obviously glitches in the software and definitely no command verification. This is a Corporate issue and not a local one.

Joyce SMake sure the picking up address is the site that it said it is. It was a problem for us and we was a hour late because of the address that was sent wasn’t correct or updated. Luckily I finally got a person at a u- haul place that helped us.

Louis AThe problem was not with the location, but with uhaul.com. I had reserved the truck in Albertville, Alabama but had to drive about 20 minutes away to Arab, Alabama. I was not aware of this until I checked my account and it had my pick up location listed at both of these locations. After about 30 minutes on the phone dealing with at least 2 agents who had no idea what was going on, I was told Albertville did not have any available trucks. When we arrived to pick up the truck in Arab, the gps would not recognize that we were at the location through the 24/7 link. After calling uhaul and spending about another hour on the phone, we were finally able to get the truck, but only with the assistance of the location's owner. We were to pick up at 7, but it was after 8 before we were able to. After hanging up with uhaul we realized there were no handtrucks on the truck. The owner explained they did not have any at that location. There were moving blankets that we did not request. I proceeded to spend another hour on the phone with uhaul attempting to locate a handtrucks at another location. By the time I was able to reserve a set that location did not open for another hour and was located on the other side of town. By this time we already had begun loading the truck and had no way to pick them up. Based on this experience I would not use uhaul again.

Corie Sgot a reservation on a holiday and didn't realize it. This man left family and friends and a full smoker to get me what I needed. He went above and beyond the call of duty. Uhaul needs to fix the reservation system to prevent this. Had I realized what was happening I would have gladly canceled and rebooked for another day. You don't pay this guy enough!!!!!!

Laura BWas unable to use the 24/7 pickup. It kept telling me I was not at the right location. I was standing right in front of the office for West Arab Mini Storage. Luckily for me the owner was on site and we did it the old fashion way.

Robert MThe location manager was extremely helpful. But the online pick up, which I attempted to do before hours, was not successful. I have successfully utilized this option in the past, but on this occasion, my location could not be verified; therefore I could not proceed to the next step. After I explained to the manager, who had arrived early, what was going on, he called customer service, and I was finally able to leave with the truck about 45 minutes later than planned.
Matthew JWe had to wait almost 30 minutes for the owner to show up. Once we got the uhaul their were finger nail clippings in all the cup holders and around the dash. Also the latch on the door wasn’t working properly. It kept getting stuck and it was a struggle to get it down and to latch properly. Overall we will use u-haul again, but will find another dealer to rent from.

SALLY PTruck had mud all over the ramp and inside the box was full of mud and dirt. The ramp did not want to come out completely. Once we were able to get it out, we couldnt get it to go back in for well over an hour causing a delay in our moving. Due to this our second trip was done without the ramp which was very difficult because the deck was very high on the truck. Overall, this experience with a uhual was horrible compared to past experiences.
