CARY FNo review can express how grateful we are to Steve & Wendy from Wen U Need Us. Our experience with U-Haul this time was a nightmare from beginning right up to when we drove in to drop off the truck, opened the (horrific and troublesome) app and it mysteriously changed the drop off location which would have cost us more time, gas and also put us over in mileage. By now, with everything going on, we were at our wits end. Thank God we called the cell phone number (which, by the way, is available 24/7) and NOT the U-Haul number. Steve answered and changed everything. He was calm, upbeat and extremely helpful. He put our minds at ease that we wouldn't be hit with any unexpected fees, he corrected whatever the problem was with the drop off location and we were out of there in literally under ten minutes--a far cry from the more than an hour to pick it up and wonder what was going to happen when we couldn't finish the pick up process on the app. With Wen U Need Us, we had a receipt in our inbox within 20 minutes and everything was fine thanks to Steve and Wendy. If we could only deal with them, we would be U-Haul customers for life.

TODD -I’ve rented a lot of U-Hauls over the years, but I’ve never had a more positive experience than I did with Wendy and Steve at Wen U Need Us. They were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and courteous, and I had never been in a cleaner, nicer smelling U-Haul truck than the one that I picked up from them. I’ll have some more rentals coming up in the area in the future, and there’s absolutely no question that I’ll be going with Wendy and Steve at Wen U Need Us on every occasion.

The vans are always clean, in good standing, and drop-off and pickup is seamless. Best in the Midcoast.

CAROL HI was contacted via text and told to call the facility to discuss me upcoming rental. I did not call the number that texted me. I called the business direct. During my call I was offered the ‘discounted’ rate of $1.09 per mile instead of the $1.29. We did not discuss Safe Move insurance. I thought how thoughtful this location was to offer a better rate. Unfortunately for me I did not read the rental contract before driving off. My rate was the original $1.29 per mile and I was additionally charged for the safe move insurance which I intentionally declined upon reserving. I would not recommend letting the business contact you to “update” your reservation. Though it may seem extremely helpful it’s not what your being told. Always verify, let my mistake save your money.
