The Uhaul smelled like cigarette smoke and that smell lingered through the whole trip. When I picked up the truck I asked if I could use the restroom and was told there was no restroom to use which seemed odd. He did credit us $21 for mileage. I guess that was nice?

I have a huge problem with my reservation. They charged us $119.73 instead of $55-60.00. We DECLINED the safe mover and all insurance. Not only were we charged but double charged for safe mover insurance. We were told NOT to fill the tank upon return. But we did anyway because that seemed like they were going to try to take money from us on purpose. We filled tank back to where it was (about 3/4) when we picked it up anyway. At return they said it wasn't good enough. They said they “don't have a receipt machine” and that they can't do anything about it because they “dont have anything to do with it” and charged us $15. It's just kids working there. The rate was $19.95 on the truck. However we were charged $39.90 On top of all of that, my reservation was guaranteed with the note “Your reservation is guaranteed or we will give you $50”, and my reservation was NOT available. After I checked out my rental location was changed.

For next customer, train personnel, especially in COV-19 procedures. I was not satisfied with the pickup of the truck. The pickup location was changed to (Weimar) 12 miles away. The facility was a liquor store. The person behind the counter was not very helpful. I received an email from U-Haul saying that “additional cleaning and disinfecting of vehicles between rental periods is ensuing safety during use.” It was not done. I had to insist that the person wipe the steering wheel. I also observed that the truck was very dirty on the inside and I had to ask him to sweep out the dirt, which he did. The truck was parked on a decline, so the fuel tank level was not accurately reflected. I said something to the guy and he said that it was full if we were on a flat road. It was not.

Repair the driver side door lock. Clean the truck better, the wheels looked like they had not been cleaned in a while.

The individuals that worked their didnt know how to recieve a uhaul van. There wasnt a good spot or clear spot to leave the van, so I did my best to get it as close to the location as possible. I did like how close it was and convenient it was.

Drop off was at a liquor store and no room to park a big truck. Was told there was no drop off right next to where I moved to and there was. It has been there for 20 yrs and the lady there was extremely helpful. Had to drive 10 miles to drop off. Huge waste of time.

Picking up the UHaul at this location was an easy and efficient experience. The man at the desk was helpful and friendly, and much of the transaction was on the phone with another man, who verified all the details of the transaction. It was also great to have a new truck, with only about 3,000 miles on it. No problems at all!
