the things we ordered were not in the truck had to pester the guy to get the right equipment

Sean M.Misinformation online about locations. Some do NOT have equipment to rent; they are only a DROP-OFF/PICK-UP point for trucks/vans. When I showed up to collect my truck, it was missing equipment that I had ordered online. I was on the phone with customer service for 30 min (they assured me that another location would have my equipment). So, I had to drive another 20 min to another location, where they were insistent that they didn't have my equipment, even though I had proof of purchase. Finally, in the middle of our conversation, they got a notification from customer service about my order and changed their tune to let me have the equipment. U-Haul, please update your location information online. It would have saved me an hour I needed in the middle of moving houses.

The owner wasn't there and I had to wait til an employee called, and had to do every go my through a convenience store employee who had no idea what was going on and it took an extra 20 minutes to pick up my uhaul. I had zero help or guidance finding my truck and had to move a giant water jug (5 gal maybe) out if the way as well as a few other random supplies once I did find the truck.

Dianne A.For the 2nd time I went to this location they have no equipment forcing me to run all over to get dolly's and pads. They say no matter how many times they tell Uhaul about this that they dont carry anything there they continue to do nothing. hen went back to drop truck off manager refused to finish the transaction as he was eating his lunch and told me to "Fucking Wait" for 25 mins. till he was done. I asked him if he was joking and he said "does it fucking say Uhaul on the side of this building?" This is the 3rd rental in a row that I have had to deal with issues and you think just continuing to say we gave you $50 off is the answer. ITS NOT. I'm not going to get screamed at by people who represent your company while I'm just trying to do business the right way!

Duane M.The address of 1190 SE Jesse Jewell Pkwy is the incorrect address to return the truck. You should update the address to the correct location. Only way I found it was thanks to the Store owner at this address who told me "this happens all the time". By far, my worst experience EVER with your company.

steve M.I returned my U-haul to this location. I COMPLETELY FILLED UP THE TRUCK. My receipt from U-haul shows a charge for fuel. I asked the girl at the counter if we need to review the truck together. She said no just give me the key and it is all good. I told her that I just filled it up. This fuel fill up was also completed at this location. I should have taken a picture ot the fuel amount but I regret that I did not.

He explained everything and got me in and out in no time. Truck over all was nice did the job I rented it for. I would rent from them again when needed. Please thank that young man for making this rental go so smoothly.

Tommy W.Clean but not well maintained, I rented a box truck because I needed to move appliances and the truck I rented didn't have a loading ramp and so I had to leave half of the stuff I went to pick up. Really disappointed.
Elizabeth L.From the moment I arrived I became alarmed. I handed the clerk my DL & Debit Card. He stated that my card was declined for the deposit I told him to use the card I handed him, I do not use the same card I reserve anything with , even when booking hotels. He stated that they do not take debit cards, because the customers come to them to complain about the service, but it is U Haul that they need to take any issues to not them. Little did I know I was being set up for the end game, that apparently after reading 90 reviews this is a common practice for this location, so they can upcharge the customer. I was charged for a number of miles that is impossible to do locally in Metro Atlanta, unless you drive in circles They charged me for gas. However, I have a receipt for the gas I put in at the Quiktrip right up the street from them. They gave me a dirty vehicle then charged me for cleaning. I intend to file a complaint against this location & U Haul I am a Paralegal and this will be my pleasure to litigate.
Harrell C.They tried to up charge me. They didn't have the equipment I ordered. I had to call U-Haul and get my reservation switched to mobile pickup just to avoid dealing with them.
Ashton H.The agent that booked our services initially was good, however, when we called back to confirm our booking, that second agent did not complete everything properly. We were first of all given a truck for a studio apartment and not a one bedroom apartment as they were told, so we had to rent a dolly. Upon arrival at our destination, after driving over twelve hours, only to find out that she did not book our complimentary storage unit either! They had us driving all over Fort Lauderdale to find an available storage, and when we finally did get one...We were given a unit for a studio and had to source other places to store the rest of our stuff. Then they had the nerve to charge us extra for going over the mileage, and when we complained about our experience was told it would be reported and someone would call us within 72 hours! WELL.... THAT REPORT WAS DONE 12.31.2020! TODAY IS 01.08.2021! WE ARE NOT HAPPY WITH U-HAUL!

Dianne A.I rented a small 10ft truck for my business as it was an emergency. I am thankful for the convenience and the quickness of getting a truck. However I was quoted a price of $19 a day for three days and my final bill ends up being $210. I probably put about 70 miles on the truck and I filled the gas tank. I am disappointed on how you are told a price and then you get the real bill. Not good business....I will not be using u-haul or recommending it to business colleagues in the future.

Regina B.My biggest issues with this rental and my previous one had to do with submitting info online prior to picking up. The online process failed each time and the pick-up location didn't have all of the details needed for the rental.

And will refuse to pay the $19 they are still trying to charge me I have used U-Haul in the past this experience was terrible for such a short time of usage

EUGENE M.I had a very negative experience, not with the location, but with the picking up and dropping off process online. When I picked up this truck, I indicated that the fuel was wrong and submitted a photo. I actually put in MORE gas than was in it when picked up and was charged $66 for fuel. The location couldn't do anything and said I had to call uhaul. I have called THREE times and I just get hung up on. Will never use UHaul again.
Alexandra N.The staff at Valero was very helpful. I originally was using Penske. When I arrived at the Penske truck pickup, I was "upgraded" to a truck any bigger than my needs for "no charge ". For some this would have been acceptable, for me it was not. I did not have much too move and didn't want to bother with a bigger truck. In my desperation. I called U-Haul. I was nervous about doing my reservation online. The staff at Velero were very understanding and encouraged me to try it. It was a piece of cake!! When I arrived the truck I needed was there and ready to go. I was even able to return the truck sooner than scheduled. There was additional assistance needed the next day as my returned vehicle wasn't registering. The staff at Valero gladly corrected the error. Excellent experience!!
