Everything was great just no happy drive 25 mile round trip out of my way when Im paying extra for milage

Owner was not present when vehicle was picked up. No equipment was inside of the trailer when it was ordered. My reservation got canceled after I picked up the trailer. I was charged for the equipment that was not provided for me. Very unhappy and will never use again. Ofcourse every location points the blame at the other one and none are willing to refund the money for the equipment I paid for but never received.

This was by far the worst experience I've ever had with your company. Honestly this might be one of the worst experiences I've ever had in general in terms of any business dealings I have experienced. The truck was absolutely filthy. There honestly wasn't a single part of the truck that was candidly gross. The cab was covered in dirt/dust. It also had trash all over the cab along with sticky stains from maybe coffee or something like that. The windows were so dirty I actually had to clean them to see out of them just to pull out of the lot. Even the glass protecting all the gauges near the steering wheel was covered in so much filth I could barely read them or take the pictures needed to do the self check out on my phone. The truck itself was a mess. It was so beat up all over and took me awhile to take all the pictures of the dents, scratches, and other various damages that were not marked with the "X" stickers to show that they were previously there before I rented the truck. So this took a good amount of time to add the pictures when completing the self checkout process. The back storage area of the truck was also gross. It was extremely dirty and smelled like an old moldy basement that has had water damage. As for how the truck handled, NOT GOOD. I drive similar sized boxed trucks all the time for work so I have experience driving trucks like this. This truck pulled so hard to the left and right that I was extremely nervous when driving it in a multilane road. It also didn't accelerate properly. It would either take off like a drag racer or barely move at all. The brakes were "eh" as well. Now finally down to my experience using the 24/7 self checkout feature. What a nightmare that was. It needs your location info in order to show you're at the exact location of the truck in order to give you the code to unlock the key our of the lockbox. It took over 45 minutes for the app and the website to finally show I was at the location. I attempted to call the phone service but that was also a nightmare. The first phone call was a 30 minute plus wait. When they finally were able to help me with the location info and the rest of the process we got disconnected so I had to call back and the wait was then over 45 minutes long. So I choose the call back option. When they finally called me I answered just for them to say hello and boom they just hung on me. By the time I waited to get a call back for the 3rd time It was over 3 or 4 hours later well past midnight when I was already done the process and at home sleeping with my kids. Yes this woke my kids up so that was fun... any way I watched the video on how to do this before I arrived too so I would be prepared for all of this. In all it took me over 2 to 3 hours to check out. Between the app constantly having errors when trying to upload all the pictures they needed when filling out the questions being asked. Plus all the other information needed, that was wrong and needed to be corrected, it took forever. I actually wasn't even able to complete the checkout process due to and I quote "something went on our end. Creamos un registro de lo que sucedió y solucionaremos el problema tan pronto como sea posible. Please try again in a few minutes." I was never able to complete the final steps and was unable to upload many of the pictures of how bad the truck was. That being said I have tons of videos, pictures, and notes that I took on my own to corroborate everything I have said. I am frustrated I have to spend another second on this truck but they need to be held accountable for this and people need to be aware of what they are getting into when renting from here. My final recommendation would be to never use the 24/7 self checkout app unless you have too and to only rent a truck from an actual U-Haul location and not one of their remote rental facilities. I received a van that was broke , after speaking to the location it was a known problem that Uhaul supposedly fixed. After waiting 5 hours for the emergency roadside assistance to come and fix the issue I then had to spend an hour on the phone trying to get through to scheduling so they could extend the rental, I was hung up on twice and transferred to Wayne's who couldn't do anything since they aren't Uhaul. I finally had to call and just speak to the call center manager for them to do something. Just check all the doors before you leave so you don't have the issues.

your customer service agent told me that I could bring the vehicle back late with no additional charge. When I got to the location to drop-off the vehicle, I was charged an additional $40.00. A very poor experience.

The owner was friendly, prompt, and efficient at getting us checked out. Owner needs to get with U-Haul to ensure you know what items are being rented. The U-Haul store around the corner did not have the equipment (dolly, furniture dolly). Lacking this equipment cost us an additional $125 to pay movers as it took longer to load everything.

Once again I chose a different location for drop off and was moved to a different one. The lot was very small and dangerous to enter. Overall I would think twice about using U Haul for my moving needs
