The truck I used had not been fully inspected or checked between the previous rental and mine. The moving blankets weren’t put back and I didn’t need to use them… I explained this to the person at check out… I was still charged for the usual the blankets which I explained were not put back from the previous user.… the truck had blue paint or something on the door and a rip in the seat….

Returning the truck, I filled the tank to just over a quarter (it was initially slightly under) one block away. I told the cashier i had returned it with the proper fuel amount in it and asked him to check. He said that they'll check in the morning and he couldn't because he was the only one working. But an hour later i get the bill and it has a fuel service charge on it. I call him to dispute the charges but he tells me i have to talk to someone in the morning but every time i call the supervisor isn't there. I feel like i was scammed.

Was given conflicting information regarding rates. Gas gauge showed different level. When checking in, I sent the picture and comment in the app. When returning the vehicle, the agent denied receiving it.

I asked them if they were aware of the iussues regarding the water in the cargo area, they said "yes, your all done, is there anything eles I can help you with" when I said I wanted a call from the owner the guy asked me why, what would it be regarding, making sure I was clear Uhaul was the problem not the store. I was Told " Im a hardware guy being forced to do uhaul things"

The location and employees were great, but the particular van I was given seems like it's on its last leg. The transmission is clearly going out to the point I had someone follow me in a car in case it broke down. It affected braking significantly and there was an awful burning smell. If my moving distance wasn't short, I would have just taken it back and asked for another one. I wouldn't rate my experience as bad- but I do feel I need to speak up so the next customer doesn't end up in a bad spot if it does break down on them.

Very easy to check in and check out, they actually open until 11:00pm, which is convenient for late check-in. The trailer is in good condition. We rented a 5x9 one, it's sturdy, spacious, pretty heavy. Next time I will try a smaller one.

U-Haul trailer detached from our truck on the freeway, colliding with our back bumper. U-Haul says it's not their fault because their employee took a picture after hooking up my trailer to my ball hitch, because we apparently left while they were doing a light check, and because afterward, I refused roadside assistance. A photo doesn't change the damage done to my truck, regardless the lights have nothing to do with the hitch connection and what has anything after the fact like roadside refusal have to do with the incident at hand? I was busy and couldn't wait 2 hours so I dropped the trailer off and went on about my day. Don't bother with this company. You pay extra for insurance, their equipment fails, wasting your day and they can't even take accountability. This is what you have to look forward to if you do business with U-Haul; overpriced trailers with zero guarantees.

I dropped it off and was immediately checked back in but had to disconnect the trailer from the tow vehicle myself. Having someone take care of that for me, as El Cajon U-Haul took care of connecting the trailer to the vehicle, as well as brake, backing, and turn signal checks, would have been better customer service.

Had to return later in day to pick up trailer because U-Hauls systems were down for several hours. Not the locations fault but left a bad taste in my mouth for U-Haul.

This was the first trailer drop in Washougal WA due to damages caused to the trailer in an accident that it had to be towed. These folks were super nice and helpful throughout the process. The final drop for the second trailer was in Bothell at Not Just Antiques.

The people running this "mini-mart"/U-Haul rental don't even make eye contact with you. We dealt with 2 different men upon pick up/drop off, and both had ZERO customer service skills. U-Haul should choose to do their business elsewhere.

The man who served me had no smiles and was not as friendly as he could be. I just rented a dolly and it was like new. He may have been having a bad day. But it doesn't take much energy to smile at your customers.

Horrible pick up experience. Convenience store clerk kept passing us up to help other store customers. This caused us to have to get out uhaul over an hour late. We ended up Having to pay for an extra day because of this. When I called uhaul To complain I was treated rudely by the rep.

The trailer we were to rent had a locked lock on it, which made it unavailable to rent at that moment. Had there not been another trailer the same size there (and there were only two actually there anyway) we would not have had the trailer we needed for our scheduled trip. The check-in process there had a glitch which could have caused a bigger problem than what actually occurred. So no big problem for us, but the next customer who was wanting the locked trailer was going to have an issue.

U-Hauled and wanted to change the pickup location and day, I said that would not work and that I wanted to pickup earlier on the scheduled day, three instead of five. The U-Haul rep said ok. Didn’t happen, equipment was not available until five. The location played dumb.

I don’ drove an hour to pick up my truck and car trailer on a 100 degree day. The only reason I found the place is because my gps told me to go there and I still passed it several times looking for it because there was no sign saying where the actual UHAUL office was but it was inside of a fried chicken/convenience store that only has 1 cardboard UHAUL sign in the window so if a car is parked in front of that sign you won’t see anything that says UHAUL. So I was getting my UHAUL contract while people are also buying energy drinks next to me. The worker did not seem familiar at all with the trucks or products. She took us out to get the truck and guided us to attach the car trailer ourselves but didn’t stay for us to load the car on so we just hoped we did that right, even though the website assured we would get safety inspections with the car trailer. After the stress of doing that we started our hour drive back home so we could pack up for the drive. We were covered in sweat from the heat and outside effort so when we got in the truck we didn’t realize the AC was blasting hot air on us. We started our drive and noticed but as we were running late already we just tried to give it a chance and terrible shoot it. We get all the way home and feel like we’re about to pass out from heat stroke but I think It’s ok because I live up the street from a UHAUL and they should be able to help me. I spent an hour on the phone just to be told my options are to drive back to Washington or to call road side service. I can’t take a cross country drive in summer with a truck with no ac. I had to drive the busted truck again back to WA but they found a spot that was 40 minutes instead of an hour drive and i had to exchange it. Now my packing day is set back almost 4 hours because of UHAUL. Absolutely no help or service nothing offered to me as an inconvenience for my time or stress when I’m dealing with another other stuff for this move. Then I get to philadelphia and drop the truck off after hours and a woman called me and said it was supposed to go to another location (it wasn’t. I dropped it off correctly) then when I called her back she seemed so confused and it was no issue. THEN THEY CHARGED ME $26 for gas when I returned it at the half fill line. THEN I went to my UHAUL storage facility in Cinnaminson BECAUSE I GET A FREE MONTH OF STORAGE NOW, the guy couldn’t find my reservation that I made an confirmed, then he magically found me, then he Charged me my first month that was supposed to be free and just went oh I forgot. So hopefully I don’t move soon and need my 2nd month free. THEN I got a call from this facility saying my lock was missing from my unit 10 days after move in. So I’m stuck at work sick over thinking my unit was broken into and calling around trying to find a family member to go check on it for me and I call back and the guy says “oh no, there’sa lock on it but It’s the wrong lock “ not only do I feel sick over this, the guy never told me I need a specific lock and don’t know why I’m called almost 2 weeks later to find out it’s wrong. With every experience I’ve had with UHAUL during this move, with all the money I spent on all of this. I really wish I just sold or donated all of my belongings and start fresh again. This was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made in my life and I just have to live with my almost 8 grand mistake.

Convenient location for those of us in Washougal. Good selection of rentals. The salesperson was friendly and efficient, a pleasure to work with. The convenience store that hosts u-haul, on the other hand, really needs a better ventilation system. It smelled horribly of chicken grease and was really unpleasant to be inside.

Trailer was really dirty, full of blankets. Not a huge issue. I was coming in after closing time on my return day. They charged me for another full day even though I said I’d be in at 7:00am. I’ve Done it in the past. Is what it is.

I would have LOVED to be told my CASH deposit wouldn’t be returned at the Washougal store as they “don’t deal with cash” then I was asked to hook the car dolly back up and take it to a location that does deal with cash. I said no and now I will be waiting on a check in the mail. Not how I wanted to end my day yesterday. Also they need better signs to direct you to a weird side road that leads to a back lot.

Have the truck ready at the time it is reserved for. I had the truck reserved for 8am and ended up not getting it until 4pm this caused hardships because of arraignment for help loading the truck.

I form the customer that the driver's side fender on an Auto Transport folds so you can open and close your car door. First time that I have used an auto transport, would have been extremely helpful information.
