Give me a trailer that doesn’t feel like it’s pulling sideways, and a roll up door that pulls up easily. I person running the pickup location so I had to wait 30 minutes to get out of there. Do you even look at the property before you authorize a dealer??

I wish that I would have had at least a 24 hour notice that the truck I ordered online was not available, and that no trucks within a 60 mile radius were available for that matter. It left me with no other alternatives and it ended up costing me much more than the $50 they offered to recover from the reservation they cancelled.

Truck was not available for me to pick up until nearly two hours after the time I requested. Also, a mistake on the contract that indicated I had rented a dolly caused me to have to spend an hour trying to rectify the situation when I tried to turn it in. Finally, since I had only one copy of my contract, I was unable to drop the truck off after hours and had to make a return trip the next day to do so. Will not be using U-haul in the future.

The lady working in there was unaware how to operate the system. They gave me the wrong truck. Charged me an extra $50 on top of the rental rate and mileage. Had I known this was goin to be such a headache with them I would have quickly rented somewhere else. Going forward I most definitely will

I got a tow dolly. I was not informed on how to use. I had called prior to picking it up and asked if they (uhaul) would attach my car to it and was told yes. The fella who waited on me was a little disturbed and told me he was not suppossed to assist me. My son had to help him. I was not told that I had to stop and check to make sure the straps did not come off. My whole trip (600 miles) I had to stop, as the straps continually came off! It was not til I called Uhaul's l 800# that I found out there was a video to show me how to install. This experience was VERY messy and this location was not informative at all!!

The truck had not been well swept out after prior use. There were pieces of cardboard, nails, screws, and bobbie-pins(!?). The tank had not been filled. Needle was sitting below full. Not a huge problem, but it would have been nice to be able to drive further before having to fill up. By calculating mileage I got myself, it appears that it was probably 8 gallons short of full when I got it. It leaked. Furniture & pads inside were soaked despite the fact that I was not driving in heavy rain.

The 5x9 trailer that I reserved was not there when I went there to pick it up. The staff was helpful to rent me something else (5x8 trailer). The staff was friendly and responsible.

The U-Haul office is staffed by employees of the furniture store. I arrived at a busy time for the furniture business and had to wait a relatively long time to return the truck.

When I arrived I was told that the guy accidentally doubly booked the Uhaul I was picking up. If hadn't gotten there first i'd have been out of luck. Secondly, the guy said there were blankets and hand trucks in the uhaul, but never told me those were an additional charge, so I feel like I was cheated out of roughly $50. Lastly, the rental guy told me I could keep the uhaul and pay for however many days I kept it since I was unsure of the exact move-in date. Then, later that week he call and asked when I could get it back because he had re-rented it assuming i'd have it back without calling me to check. All around, the service was poor and dishonest. Not the uhaul service I've been used to in the past.

The AC on the truck was broken, the steering was out of alignment and the brakes were not working properly. Then to top it off, the dealership charged me for equipment that I did not rent but that they left in the back of the truck from the previous rental. This was a very unsatisfactory experience.

Watch out for fuel meter. The manager is a sweet talker and will dismiss everything as easy fix. However, you need to be careful in checking everything and telling him and then he fixes them. Hence in a sense, this is not being frank and open business.

get the rental charges right and when a customer questions charges, check it out, dont lie n tell the customer they werent charged....be friendly also to the adult n the kids....im paying you to use ur equipment, therefore, u work for me....

I signed a contract stating the truck was to be returned 1/2 full on fuel. When I started the truck it was below the 1/2 mark. I drove less than 20 miles and the gauge always read poor fuel economy and got close to the 1/3 mark. I knew it was a big truck that used fuel but that was ridiculous. Of course I did not to return the truck without fuel so I stopped at the gas station. Upon inspection I discovered the fuel cap wasn't just off, but it had been tucked in a corner. I was beyond angry but maintained my composure. To top it off; upon returning the truck to the store, I had to wait nearly 20 minutes after being initially greeted to voice my concern while employees were engaged in small talk on the other side of the store. I want to believe that I just chose the wrong time to use this location. We all have a bad day sometimes. But this location failed miserably to make a good impression. I'm sure there will be no follow up or posting of this comment but it felt good to vent about it anyway. God Bless and safe travels.
