the lock was very difficult to open . It would not move so I could put the combo in the links were stuck. I also could not download my driver license it took me about a h our to get on the road.. When I got in ONce again I could not down load a picture of dashboard and Customer service was taking so long on hold. I was able to put the keys in the back and lock the door. I was on hold with customer service for 27 minutes before anyone answered. there should be a emergency contact number for Owner of location. ABSOLUTLEY REDICULOUS!!! I wasted two extra hours. *** almost forgot** the seat belt warning light kept going off even though i had it on . VERY ANNOYING stressful experience.Kimberley S.

It is truly a crime that your employees take advantage of the public. I will be posting a scathing review of the dishonesty of your employees. Attempting to nickel and dime customers does not win you loyalty. Your employee told me they are moving to a gated community in Ohio. I can see how that is possible when scamming people when they return the truck. My review will be posted.Alex M.
On the rental truck we did use the back door had a bad caster in it and if the door went up to far it would catch on the right side. Just a bad caster bearing needs to be replaced. Otherwise nothing else to report. Friendly and quick rentalShawn L.
I hate the fact that I was never asked about adding the safe move insurance to the agreement. Luckily I caught it before leaving the premises so that were able to correct it but I've seen this before with multiple U-haul locations so I suspect this more or a policy than an accident.Eric M.

Didn't tell me that there would be a $50 fee everyday for extending my use. Charged $200 cleaning fee for somthing they had to only wash out. Added $98 coverage fee to my bill and didn't ask me about it when given the vehicle to me.KRISTINA T.

I was very frustrated because I placed an order online for a one way trip. This locations (Wanda's Rentals) apparently doesn't allow that, so I got rerouted to another location an hour away. I called Wanda's Rentals to discuss and they offered me a great deal and cancelled my one way trip and I did a pick up and drop off with Wanda's. I even got a confirmation email. Upon arriving at Wanda's and online checking in, I was told that I didn't have a reservation and that no truck was available. I was very frustrated and explained my story. The representative said he was the one I spoke to on the phone, so he found me a way to get a truck and told me to bring it back as soon as possible and not the 10 hours I had requested. After that, he asked who was moving me and shared negative things about the company I had chosen. I was very frustrated with the experience. Lastly, he is very talkative which his nice, but inconvenient for people who are waiting outside in the cold because only 1 person is allowed in the store at a time for COVID. It would be great to be on task and focused so that it is working more efficiently.Eleanore T.

I paid an extra $16 for a service I did not need. I was told UHaul MAKES you get the insurance and I have to pay the $8 a day charge!!!!!! My full coverage car insurance covers this. That's not right!Christine L.
The truck ran fine, but the cab was really loud. I could barely talk to another person in the cab, especially on the highway. Also, when I talked to the Uhall representative on the phone, they told me that I could pick up the truck at 7am, but when I arrived on Friday, the place didn't open until 8am. Just make sure that the scheduler on the phone knows when the rental shop opens.Timothy M.

The initial location to pick up the truck was confusing as to exactly where they are located but their Owner/Manager gave me better directions of where to find it as it was not picking on the the GPS. The dolly reserved was not on the truck at the location I reserved. Instead had to drive to another location to pick it up which cost me time. The manager was very nice and accomodating in spite of the inconvenience.Yvette L.

Beginning. Mileage was wrong by over 100 miles. Told rep and he noted it. Told again when I returned and told would be charged correctly. Just got bill, only drove about 25 miles got charged for over 140. Also made reservation at location.0.5 miles from me and you changed it to this location over 5 miles away costing me approx 10 more charged miles. If not fixed I will be protesting entire charge as fraudulent.Paul D.

Got a bad feeling went i initially walked in but couldn't put my finger on it. Did the online check in, all pictures matched up to EXACTLY how I returned the truck and get a notice this morning about damage to the truck. This is completely false and I will be taking legal action. Louis was not professional at all. I've rented multiple trucks from U-Haul and always had a great experience till now. I will no longer be using U-Haul. And the damage that I supposedly did to the truck has rust. If it was new damage, how does it rust in 12hrs?!? Louis is a liar and should not be affiliated with what I thought was a good company. I asked for the exact pictures I saw before going with the truck and he will not provide them. He is shady and this place is riddled with bad reviews. Should have known.CHRISTOPHER M.
They over charged me for a insurance coverage even though I denied it on top of that they charged me an extra day because they didn't check it until later in the afternoon. The man at the counter told us we just needed to leave it and it would be fine. So in all I'm getting charged double of what I should've paid def won't be renting from uhaul anymorraheel I.

I received a truck that did not have the proper wire connection and I could not take the trailer for that reason. There was no explanation of what to do and how to use the vehicle but rather " Here is the key, good luck". Also, it does not apply to this location, but I was supposed to pick up a U-Box trailer to transport between IL and NJ for U-Haul, however this whole process was extremely unorganized and when I showed up to pick up the trailer, it was not ready because the power went out and it took 1hr to restore it. Then, the team was trying to organize the trailer, but the lights did not work due to the fact that it wasn't properly connected to the truck. I spent nearly 3 hrs waiting for it, and never picked it up because of the lights issue. It extended my 12hr drive to 16 hr trip from IL to NJ. Lesson learned from this: Never agree to take a trailer/UBox from UHaul!!!Adam S.
