Carl SpanoIt was on a saturday when I rented the truck and the Lady ask how long I would need it for and I told her for 3 or 4 hrs but she told me that they closed at 1pm but where I was going to go to pick up a Piano and the Lady would not be there until 4pm but anyway we got the Piano and I returned the truck and was charged a $20 fee for returning it late and I thought that this was a little over board .

CHARLES JONESThe truck was clean but it had a warped rotor or something wrong that made it shake violently every time I used the brakes. This was very dangerous mostly driving through the mountains.

ALVIN POWESKALeft us in the rain to hook up the trailer. Good thing I was familiar with doing so. Wiring harness had broken tab in it fron prior renter. So it would not plug into my vehicle. I had to go inside and ask for a different harness that did not have a broken wire end in it. Was greeted with a sarcastic " Sorrrry". And given a different harness. Very filthy place and filthy people. Customer Service Sucked and I will never rent from U haul again. Their are better people that would appreciate me as a customer. That would stayed out there and helped me. Very disappointed in Uhaul. Looks like I'm a Penske guy from now on. Seriously I don't rent that often, but when I do. I expect to be treated like a decent person.

Robert SteinerI reserved a truck rental for 8:00AM to be done on my mobile device upon arrival. When I got there, I did what U-Haul told me to do, but the U-Haul website said I would need to wait another hour until 9:00AM when the store opened to give me the key to the truck. Why did U-Haul let me reserve a truck for 8:00 if the store needs to be opened in order for me to get the keys? I don't understand. It says 24-7 rental, but I guess that only applies if someone is there to give you a key.

michael brownThere was no one at the location and the door was locked, and I couldn’t get the website page to show my location so I could check it in myself (yes, I had followed the instructions to allow it to share my location with the webpage). I was able to call the worker as there was a number on the sign, and they talked me through unhooking and unhitching the trailer from my car. I’d not done that before, and it almost fell on my foot. Yikes. Also, I felt very uncomfortable with the HUGE banner in the store window for Trump 2024. That’s not welcoming or inviting, and is inappropriate for a location serving ALL the public. I’ve always had great service from every uhaul location, and even the dirty one has friendly, helpful people (it is a repair shop, so it has “atmosphere” and I was fine with that). I was surprised at all the missteps at this location and will try not to use them again.
Mimi YoungThe woman that did the process was very unwelcoming and had an unpleasant demeanor the entire time my husband and I were receiving our uhaul rental. There were 3 trucks of the same size available at the time; 2 pristine looking trucks and 1 that was very dirty and dusty inside and out. Of course we were given the dirty one and once we discovered that, we politely asked for one of the clean ones instead. She sucked her teeth, huffed and puffed, grumbled, and gave us major attitude the whole time she was switching the trucks over and was extremely unprofessional. Then as we were inspecting the second truck before we took off, she came out and angrily started sweeping the massive amount of dirt from the original truck she tried to give us onto our vehicle that was sitting almost directly behind it with our children in it. I would not recommend this location to anyone. It is truly sad that people still act like this in 2022. By the way, my husband and I are both black. Discrimination is very much alive and thriving in the good ol’ city of Randleman, NC. The only reason I gave any stars is because this was convenient for my family. I wish their business the best of luck, but she has definitely lost my family and anyone else I know as future customers.

ROBERT NYEI was told to leave it for check in the next day thought the person that checked me in. However, the messages per Uhaul said I would be charged if I didn’t check it in myself. I opted to check it in. Just something to be aware of. But overall, not a bad experience.
