Also, the light bulb in my rental space is blown out. Is the customer expected to climb to the ceiling and replace blown light bulbs?

Jose LThe Uhaul has some trash in the front, but nothing that was a big deal (a few straw wrappers). The staff at the location was excellent! Pick up and drop off were quick and easy.

MIKAIL MI was offered many times the option of 24 hours cell-phone pick up , to find out that that location did not have that available . I got there and it was closed ( i knew that , that’s why I was counting on that feature big big ordeal for men, U Haul should fix those discrepancies , terrible experience
JUAN TEnsuring that all the "touch points" inside the driver and passenger areas of the car have been sanitized, as well as cleaning the storage area of the van. Providing sanitizer and sanitation wipes in the compartments.
Hannie KMore instruction on the return process ahead of time. Didn’t know about the option to fill out return forms after hours until I checked my textmessages, after returning the van. And made it seem like I’d be penalized for not filling it out by charging a “convenience fee” for them to look it over in the morning. Not a fan of random fees. Also had to look for gas cap for a while and some info on that would’ve saved us some time.

John DAbsolutely the worst experience I’ve had picking up a rental. Made me drive to 3 different locations across the south side of Chicago, only to tell me that my rental/equipment was not available at the location. I had to accommodate these extra miles in my rental contract, and was not offerred anything to recoup some of the lost money from the rental. Ridiculous, 1/5
Andrew SDrop key slot: I used the online service to return the truck rental after hours. I dont understand why a "key compartment & compartment code" are noted on the instructions if there is only a key slot in the door & nowhere to enter the compartment information. I suggest a drop box near the mail slot.

That was East Bank Storage On 35th St, where they had my reservation on file but no truck for me. It was a frustrating inconvenience -- especially given I had called the day before to confirm everything was in order -- that set me back about an hour.
