I wish that blankets would have been discussed at the time of reserving the trailer. I "assumed" (my mistake) that some blankets would have been included. I would have been willing to pay extra had I known that there wouldn't be any. It was a bit of a problem when trying to protect the wood of the furniture we hauled. We arrived 2 hours away from home without anything. We were blessed that the people we were buying the furniture from gave us some. I think just a question as to whether we needed blankets or tie downs would have been helpful. I am not accustom to hauling things and didn't think about it. Fortunately, the guys I was with had tie downs and bungie cords.

There was some frustration by both myself and the attending clerk with the checkout process as the online reservation system was not functioning correctly. This was not a U-Haul only location, so perhaps more training on trouble-shooting the online interface for franchisees would be advisable. Driving off the lot with the truck took much longer than it should have, especially given the fact that I had completed the online pre-arrival process.

Let the customer know not to lock up the truck and drop the key before going through the drop off procedure. I could not take a picture of the odometer, however I had taken one before I got out so I had the accurate mileage.

I did have problems with the running lights. Not sure if they worked when I picked it up or not. The brake lights and blinkers were checked , not sure about the running lights. When I plugged in the trailer it would blow the fuse in my truck.

I know this is not the location but you need to allow more mileage. We did not travel off the route and had less than 2 miles left before we would be over the mileage limitation. If I would have had to go off the beaten path to fuel up we would have been over our mileage limit. This adds additional stress to a move.

We were exhausted and forgot to fill up the tank upon return and 108th street in West Allis Wisconsin. I saw the receipt come through for $53 to fill up the tank. Gas is like 95 cents a gallon. This price could be more competitive.

6 x 12 cargo trailer when empty doesn't have enough tongue weight and bounced repeatedly. Very annoying. Wife was getting sick. Recommend better design.
