I originally was supposed to pick up my equipment at a different location at 7 AM. They switched the location and I was unable to get it at the time I needed. This caused major inconvenience with other appointments I had that day. I only found out about the change Sunday night and was supposed to pick up the equipment Monday morning. It would be an improvement to give the customer more lead time when changing a reservation.

I don't know if this is a glitch in your system but it should be corrected to allow input from the renter has the how long they will want the equipment, not just limited to a 24-hour period.

WAYNEM B.Lots of confusion about the drop off activity of the previous renter of this truck led to HUGE delays and uncertainty for our pickup. The woman at Village Rentals was very sweet but the Uhaul software/website was really problematic. Other renters say similar things. Even though I went online WAY IN ADVANCE some of the information wasn't available and resulted in A LOT of delays and frustration for the users!!!! ABSOLUTELY NOT the fault for f the pick-up location!!! All I can say is be prepared for issues Once we had the rental everything was ok except the vehicle itself, with only 45,000 miles on it was a wreck. Got the job done is all I can say.

THOMASF C.The owner was rude from the start unfortunately. He was upset I disposed of garbage in his huge garbage cans in the parking area. He didn't want to help me unload my jeep we had paid the pick up location to rig up for us. After explaining and apologizing about the garbage he told me he doesn't usually do that but will for me. If he hadn't my jeep would've stayed stuck there so I don't know why he made me feel bad about asking him for help. Besides the rude attitude from the beginning he had just walked up on me without any introductions and went to the driver's side and started taking down info to close the bill. This man needs some customer service training.

Richard T.There were device failures, software/system failures, repeated entries/attempts to re-enter my information. I was there for ONE hour waiting for the check-in process. The trailer had 3 safety chains, one was found damaged but I left it wrapped around the chassis so I wouldn't disturb the equipment as I found it. The flat-4 electric wire was frayed but worked. The trailer was found with a cinder block holding it up. When I returned it, I put it back in the lot and used the proper hitch stand that I knew the purpose of from past experience. Overall, the rental, use, return of the trailer was successful but I won't rent from this particular uhaul location because of the computer problems and delays.
