I arrived frazzled because I greatly misjudged the amount of time it took to load the U-Haul truck, didn't know where I was going, and I had to drive a total of 2 hours and 40 minutes out of my way to get the auto-transport, making my total drive time 9 hours instead of 6. Keith was exceptional, his calm and steady demeanor calmed me down and we even had a good chuckle while he completed the rental process. I cannot be happier with the service I received or more grateful for the person Keith is. Thank you so very much Keith!Cindy W.

This location was an hour and 1/2 from my home I was not happy that uhaul required me to use my personal time and gas (without any concessions on my rental). I am not really sure why you would consider that a â€œreservationâ€. I was also not satisfied that I was required to pay for a 3 day rental when I only needed the trailer for 2 days.Doug C.

this comment is not about Viking mountain tool works. From which I rented a truck. This concern is about a 40 plus minute wait on the phone to try and talk to someone about renting a truck. When i fill out your form on line it comes back with there may not be a truck to rent. The phone call was about what kind of options do I have at a chance to rent a truck. If you check my recent past in the last 5 years, no problems. This time it was a complete mess up. Be very careful when you are directed to your dispatcher because what a person is told information by them has no truth to what happens at the truck rental rules where you pick up the truck.I could finish this novel about the April 28 mess of trying to rent a truck in eastern Iowa but I feel I have wasted enough of my time, its over I paid the truck rental charges I am not a happy camper with this mess Its not about the money issue its about your very poor customer service work to complete a order. have a nice daybruce R.

Make clear signage about which door to enter on weekends. The main door was locked so I had to call Uhaul only to find out that a different door was the only one open on weekends. Other than that, great experience (except the staff person should wear a mask when facing customers indoors).Kristine H.

I went on-line and completed all the forms as requested. When I arrived it seemed like there was a lot of duplicationCurt D.
I requested to rent a 4x8 trailer a month in advance. Despite talking to the site in advance AND confirming with 1-800-GO-UHAUL in advance on the phone that there was a 4x8 in their inventory, I arrived to no 4x8 trailer available (only 5x8s). Could have rented from another nearby town if I knew. 4x8 is the perfect size for us and is more fuel efficient with less wind drag for a cross country trip. Inside of trailer had not been swept out and staff didn't even offer to help put the trailer on the hitch.Jim E.
This was one of the worst experiences I have had with Uhaul. I reserved a 5x8 trailer 2 weeks prior to needing it. Uhaul called me 2 days before I was to pick-up my trailer at cedar falls, iowa and told me there was no 5x8 trailer available for my pickup time. I was then told I could pick up a 6x12 trailer for the same price at waterloo. Got to waterloo and the trailer had not been returned. Only 5x8 trailer available was at Decorah Iowa, 75 miles from cedar falls. I ended up driving 1.5 hours to Decorah and 1.5 miles back costing me $25 dollars worth of gas. I was given 50 dollars back, but i still had to pay $18.48 for the trailer plus the $25 extra dollars to pickup the trailer. Uhaul should have had one of their people go and get the trailer and bring it cedar falls!!!! Viking Mountain tools did a good job getting us setup with a trailer so i don't put any blame on this location.Christian N.

Dropped the truck off a day early. Left the key and the filled out contract in the drop box since it was after they closed. Called me the next morning asking where the truck was. I had to email them pictures of the truck at their place of business. I was glad I had taken pictures. Then they messaged me that they had found it and one of their employees had moved it. It just seemed like they could have looked a little harder for the truck before calling me.DARCY E.

The location was great but Uhaul's check in process is slow. I even did the pre-check in online and it was so slow because of the Uhaul online system. If you want to improve something, make it way faster for the these locations to get people like me in and out.Jackson H.
Just wish the UHaul sign was bigger. Hard to find in the dark and drove by twice before realizing this was the place.Deborah F.
