LEONARDO AI was quoted a price at the time of picking up the truck at drop off I went over the milage a bit and was charged a different price that was expected and looked into my bank records and am getting charged an additional 58 dollars for who knows what.

DEBRA LAfter I helped the sales associate pull the trailer tires out of a ditch, the sales associate dropped the trailer onto the hitch and walked away. He said he needed some photos before we left. I was left to hook up the chains and electrical, no problem. What I didn't know is that the hitch wasn't tightened properly. It came off the ball going down the highway. Thankfully one of the chains held tight and I was able to stop without any major incident. My 13yo was in the vehicle with me and was terrified. I asked the U-Haul sales associate as I was ready to pull away "How does everything look? Am I good to go?" and he said, as he was taking a picture of the hitch "Yes!" I am very happy no one was killed. I am happy no one was injured and the equipment wasn't damaged. I am not happy with the fact that someone could have been killed. I am not happy with this at all. I would recommend NEVER renting from this location.

Deborah VThe U-Haul truck needs serviced!!!!!!!! It was not steering Right.... Brakes squealed and mushy..... DANGEROUS!!! Was concerned about the safety.... You should not rent it out again until it is fixed!!!!!!!
Roseann KThe first location was permanently closed, and the second location walked out and grabbed the keys and said thanks, and walked away without any help or guidance on where to park the truck or trailer. Only good thing about drop off was the location had plenty of space to maneuver a massive Truck and trailer.
Nathan WI had a good experience as far as renting the U-Haul from vauxs but I was disappointed in U-Haul as a company to advertise 19.95 for pricing and then charge 50$+ I literally drove it 4-6 miles.and returned it within 2-3 hrs.

Kaleigh MI feel as tho I got double charged on the 39.99 & 10.00 dolly charged that was also listed 2 times on my bill. Also most other place will give you so much money back if you was to their agree to their terms. Not happy that for 24 hours it cost me $102.00. The guy I worked with nice but didn’t explain why those charges were there 2x’s.

When went to pick up truck the guy wouldn't let me continue on my phone, said I shouldn't have to do anything but he had problems with the app from his pad and I wasn't. Took over 20 minutes to get things figured out. Not what I was expecting from doing things online to supposedly save time.

Tonya SI don't blame either place that I went to but the trailer I received had a leak and did some minor damage to a few pieces of furniture. I got the enclosed trailer to avoid this problem. This trailer also looked very old and used. It was well maintained inside but not on the outside.

James CWorst moving experience of my life. Reserved truck weeks ahead, called Altoona location the day before move just to be sure truck was there (or would be by next day). Was informed I had to drive to Phillipsburg to pick it up (80 mile roundtrip). Then, when we looked for furniture pads, there were none. That meant another trip back to the Altoona location to secure pads. This delayed the whole move by several hours. Do yourself a favor and call Budget or even hire a couple buddies with trucks...it will be less stressful.
