The ppl was rude when I return the truck the lady had attitude came outside telling me to give me the key and snatch them out my had while I was doing the mobile drop-off taking my pictures and stuff.. wound not recommend

I was charged for a utility dolly i did not receive, which made my move much longer than intended. The van was really dirty and had items left over from the previous renter.

The lady on the location didn’t speak any English had a very nasty attitude was super rude and the truck was dirty I paid for two dolly’s and were not in the truck after also the truck was in really bad condition I left me stock had no battery and had to wait 2hours for some to come fix the truck after I returned the truck the rude nasty lady wanted me to bring the keys to the back of the store cause she didn’t want to walk do to her being tired when I refused she curse me out and her husband called me the B*** word and the F*** word Never again people do not rent trucks in The Caribbean depot Tamarac Fl

Pickup was at 7:30. Got there at 7:45. Lockbox was not working so couldn’t get keys. Had to wait until 8:45 for the location to open to get keys. Person in charge couldn’t speak English very well, and got upset at me because I couldn’t understand her. Told her I already booked but she had me go through the whole booking process again. Not a very good experience.

The process was not easy to pick up and completing the paperwork was an absolute nightmare. The lady at the location was not able to communicate well. When I asked for receipts, she told us that everything would be sent by email. the Truck not at the best condition, I needed to talk to the manager because it was actually impossible to communicate with the rep.

My ordered items weren't inside the truck at the time of pick up. Only one hand truck was inside, meanwhile I had ordered 2 handtrucks, 1 furniture dolly and half a dozen of furniture pads.

Customer service is key in any business and the guy was not very professional AT ALL! I was charged for gas after putting in more gas that was in originally in the truck when I picked it up. When I called to inform them of the charge the owner/worker was VERY unprofessional. He even went as far as telling me that he doesn’t know why I’m calling about gas. And if I have a problem that I should send the pictures that I have in my phone of the gas hand before and after pictures that I’m going to have to go out of my way and email u-haul so that they could give me a refund. Which I have no problem with.. But that should’ve been his initial response instead of arguing back and fourth with me about my money!

The process of renting the truck should have been completed before the actual time of receiving the truck. I had to sit and upload my Driver's Permit, complete the application, and wait for approval, that took up a lot of my time.

Ensure that the location follows through on all reservations within the same booking. I had to wait close to 2hrs for them to push the reservation from scheduling too mobile pick up. It delayed my move by 2hrs. Customer service was not able to help me. It was a horrible experience. The location was not answering their phone so I had to wait until by some chance I was able to collect the truck via mobile pick up.

The time I booked got changed three times without a reason why. The location got changed three times without any reasons why. When I arrived at the place on time, there was no one there, stating I was to do the pick up by my phone app, despite me opting out of that option when booking the truck, because it didn’t work the last time I tried it, and I didn’t want that experience yet again… but wait, there’s more!! The service over the phone was ridiculous. Telling me I needed to make an online account in order for the booking to work, which is not correct. They then told me I had to change the settings on my phone to make the booking work, which is not correct. THEN, they told me I had to download the APP in order for the booking to work, which also, obviously, not correct either! Eventually, I had to change to the above location, and the time got moved back again, which made starting this move day, 3-4 hours later than I needed. The customer service there was horrible as well. It was not a U-Haul store, but a local Caribbean food store. It took approximately 30-40 minutes to even get the key, even though I was only one there that needed a truck. Finally, looking at the final bill… I was charged more than the initially quoted rate per mile (0.89/mi), and noted it was 1.19/mi instead… No explanation why. ALSO, I was charged for a $15 insurance thing that I specifically opted out of when I initially booked this nightmare truck in the beginning! Horrible experience all around. Nothing but incompetence, laziness and no sense of needing to do a good job or even giving a crap at all! It was all just pretty sad.

The GPS would not take you to the place. The address is not correct. The person in charge arrive 1hour late to give the truck. I rent a dolly and it wasn’t in the truck and the place didn’t have it available.

I had to wait at the store over 2 hours after my reservation time for them to be able to get my key and pick up truck Despite having my reservation in hand i needed to have a 1 hour call with Uhaul support and they were very helpful. They sent an area director over to help me

I will be reporting the dealer Caribbean depot that lied about the mileage and committed a federal crime with U-Haul as an accessory as they have made no action to correct this lie on monetary gain.

I am a frequent uhaul patron and the customer service at this location at this location is unacceptable. I opened a customer incident regarding my interaction with this particular location. Although iI was issued a $50 credit I still feel like there needs to be more xompensation and customer satifaction to keep me as a customer .

The place is a Joke it's a horrible location in a horrible area with shady employee or owner I returned the truck on 12/28 and they claimed they didn't get the truck until 1/7 THE PLACE CALLED ME on 12/28 asking why I locked the key inside!!! What a scam they are

I got to the location to pick up the uhaul and they did not honor the quote I received online. I was quoted online approximately $57 when I got their they wanted to charge me over $116. This wasted a lot of my time, which made me miss my window to complete my furniture drop off. I ended up having to keep the truck for 24 hours and I contacted the store to communicate that. He said he would only charge me $20 more because my rental rate is $19.95. Upon returning the rental at the 24 hour time stamp. I got to the store and they are charging me double for everything and the rental rate shows approximately $66. I knew something was wrong and I became adamant that it be fixed before I left. I called customer service as they advised, but I got no where. The worker at the store was able to reach someone on the phone from uhaul. The person on the phone told him to charge me for 1 day not 2 and that my rate is $19.95. They changed it, but my rate remained at $33 plus. At this point, I already wasted more time debating this and I needed to go. They wanted to call customer service to fix it after I checked out. I settled with doing that. I called customer service after waiting for 25 minutes, I got through to someone who wasn’t willing to help me address my issue so I ended up paying approximately $20 more than my quote. I got off the phone because I was tired and exhausted and they had wasted enough of my time. Atleast I wasn’t paying $170. Instead my whole thing came to about $120. I’m just happy I was able to get the job done.

The dealer rent me the truck with less than 1/4 of tank gas but write 1/2 tank after I returned it with the same 1/4 tank. We accord to rent with 1/2 tank because the app does not let to rent with less than 1/4. He has received the truck and not refill it and charge 5 gl to my contract.

The guy there was very rude and unhelpful. When I walked in the guy at the register told me give him a few minute he busy i did ok and walked out and completed the whole procedure on my phone, providing my drivers license, credit card, and pictures of myself this took about 15- 20min. After I was approved it came to a screen where I was to to just show to receive my keys. When I when back inside he was in a back glass office I showed my phone to the lady in the front and she took it back to him and he still said i had to wait. I told him that I can not wait please attend to me i already did everything and only need the keys that should take less than 3 minutes compared to him doing their taxes or whatever they was doing because there is only 1 truck there, he shrug his shoulders. I called uhaul for a refund I was on the phone with the lady for 16 minutes before he came out the office. She said they called him and he didn't answer. He totally ignored me the whole time finally when he came out he walk straight pass me and continued socializing with the customers he had, (spraying perfume for them, giving them cards, and just chatting) totally ignoring me again when I try to get his attention. The uhaul lady on the phone said to show him my screen so I can get the key and leave (he can hear her it's on speaker). He asked for id and credit card i told him I already did that part already paid and I don't have to show it I'm frustrated and ready to go but he made a did deal and started to walk away. She told me to show my license and I did he walked back to the office where he was sitting for over 30 minutes to get the key this made me so mad. He still didn't hand me the key he asked to the door unlocked it and walked me to the truck before handing over the keys I felt like that was him just being childish. He was just really disrespectful and unprofessional this is the worst uhaul experience I've ever had it took almost an hour for nothing. He had to much to do in the 1 shop and is taking on to much responsibility ups, uhaul, immigration, taxes,calling cards, lottery, and i full store of merchandise he can't handle it all. Also I told the lady in the phone that the had was on 1/2 tank and she told me to take a picture and send to her but I see i was charged $8 for gas. She was very helpful and understanding.

Truck was not available until AFTER reservation time. Not time efficient as I had to give all the info from the res. to the representative. Upon a clean, full fueled return, I was charged a cleaning fee, told it was non-negotiable regardless of cleanliness, told everyone pays it and if I want a refund I had to contact Uhaul. Deplorable business. Do not ever rent here. They will rob you. I have tangible evidence!

I would like a full refund I made arrangements online prior to getting the truck because I’m from the Bahamas and everything is time for me I got there after 11 and did not receive the truck until after 2 after seeing my frustration they allowed me to take the truck. So I’m now backed up calculating traffic and what I had to do it took me longer than I wanted then after the fact when I returned at 7:30 I was still not able to sign a receipt where I would have told them I didn’t have use of this truck at 11:45 so I cannot pay for it . I was told to come back today to sign the receipt as if I don’t have a life!
