Got charged for blankets that were never provided, rear view mirror a in truck moved with the wind, when I tried to adjust the bill, after about 20 minutes on hold, I was told I had to call someone else.

You charged me for a Dolly I neither rented nor used. Wasnt that Impressed but could not be bothered chasing it up to get my $7 back. The vehicle also only had a quarter tank but I was told it had just under half. It was pretty much dead on quarter.

The truck was beat up. It was the height of the rainy season and the truck leaked everywhere. Boxes of books soaked and destroyed. I was charge for a furniture dolly which was not provided. I was told the truck would be half full of gas, and yet it had less than a quarter in it at rental. I reported all of this to the attendant there and was promised a follow up. But instead I received an invoice from U-Haul charging me for a full tank of gas. I even have photos of everything to show how they cheated me.

I signed up for the mobile check in but had delays in getting the key because the office was closed. It was very unclear what the process was and there was no furniture dolly in the truck reserved even though I paid for it in advance. The driver side window handle was broken and the side mirrors didn't fully adjust.

truck was not cleaned, nor wiped out. We returned it far cleaner than we got it. Returned with fuel above required and was hammered with no fill charge and fuel. Had to go back, attendant said he'd get it corrected and followed up with a call. that was appreciated

It was difficult tg park the 20' truck, but it's always difficult to park those trucks. Thank you for the excellent job of getting me a truck when the truck I had reserved was not returned on time. That was great pro-active customer service.

The van we requested was not there, needed to use a truck instead. Truck was not clean and smelling like marijuana so strongly that our belongings all smelled like weed for a day after unloading. We only had our belonging in the truck for an hour. This was unacceptable.

Inside of Van was not clean...I did vacuum back of Van before returning...Van was very easy to drive... Entrance to rental office,very hazardous..large hose and items on ground...other than that... check out service was fast and easy....I have used U-HAUL for many years...my first time at this location...I would most likely use this location again.

I booked this several weeks in advance, I went to the location specified, they did not have my truck, they did not call me about my truck, they ended up rebooking me through this location, but then telling me to go to a DIFFERENT location, so the location I'm rating was actually the third location. There was nothing wrong with the final location, but everything up to that point was completely awful.

As is so often the case, watch out for hidden fees. Seems to me the mileage got inflated, but I could not find an odometer on the dashboard - it is electronically recorded. Service was OK, but not particularly professional.... It is what it is - truck rental from a gas station. Don't expect too much. My recommendation is neutral, but the truck was new, clean and sanitized as I waited to leave. I'd go back if that was the available option.

The return app sucked, the mileage And gas measured they entered was wrong and the taking a picture didn't work on the app so you couldn't send a picture showing the correct amounts. The app just froze and it wasted my time.

The truck we got had blood on the interior and the drivers side mirror did not stay put had to keep adjusting it. Quite disappointing may look for a different company next time.

I had a couple issues. 1) The Dolly I selected to add was not included because the location didn't have any. 2) Safety coverage was added to my order that I declined in person and online. I sent an email asking for a refund of the $14 safety coverage. If you are able to help I would appreciate it as well. Generally, I have had great experiences with Uhaul but this one was a little tricky.

Customer service was bad and I was double charged for miles. No way I even used 10 miles yet charged for 20, someone doesn't know how to read on odometer! Also double charged for dolly!

Dont understand why I paid 61.00 for gas when I only used 1/4 of a tank and put gas in it your whole things was a lie 90.00 to begin then at end 130.00 thats fucked

Equipment was great and everything worked perfectly. Not sure why it has such bad reviews. I felt real safe with my little brother going to pick up the truck right by the gas station and returned it without any trouble - thank you!

The truck was dirty and damaged. I believe I was overcharged but I can't prove it because I did not receive an itemized order summary from u-haul, although I did receive other emails confirming the reservation.

Truck cab was incredibly dirty, wipers were completely non-functional. Uhaul representative followed zero protocol on social distancing. Fortunately we came prepared with sanitizing items, but this was disappointing to say the least.

The customer service provided by the person at counter was top notch. He was friendly, helpful and courteous. I give him *****. The truck was not clean. It had beverage cans behind seat. In the back of truck was a furniture dolly & two hand trucks laying on floor. The appliance dolly that is normally secured to wall was also laying on truck floor. There was sand all over the back of truck. It was recorded as having 1/4 tank of gas but fuel was on E within two blocks of location.

While I appreciate the thought and online support systems Uhaul has put in place to ensure safety, the check-in process took almost an hour and required documentation and verification that seemed to me to be unreasonable. Why would my passport, lease agreement or verification from employment be necessary to rent a vehicle for a day? I was able to navigate the multiple layers of documentation and verification, but found it unnecessarily cumbersome.

Online check in is ridiculous to use, and u-haul is unable to correctly monitor usage, resulting in being grossly overcharged for mileage.

I had reserved a 15' trailer for pickup at the MLK location and to drop off at 82nd St in Clackamas. My trailer got increased to a 20' trailer, which ended up being fine, but when I went to return it to 82nd I was informed that it had to go back to MLK, which added an hour of drive time for the round trip after I had spent all day moving already. When I went to drop it off, nobody was there even though they were supposed to be open for over another hour, and there was a gas station employee fighting with a customer outside the store as well. Overall, it ended up being a major hassle in an unsafe area.

(Wrong prices, cleaning, dolly return, etc.) I assume no one will read this, but in case someone does, I would appreciate to know what happened and what steps uhaul will take to make sure no one has to go through the terrible experience we went through.

The truck stank of stale cigarette smoke. And I reserved moving equipment with the truck the first time. You didn't have it at the location when I got there. I needed the equipment for my move. So I moved the reservation forward two weeks so you could figure it out. Second time you didn't have it either. Pathetic. What's the point of taking a reservation if you can't get the equipment to the location for the reservation?

Using the self check out/in was DREADFUL! It may have been the location or the UHaul system, but the ability to load/send all the required photos did not work well.... I worked at the pick up process for over 30 minutes. It kept saying there was no connection to the system, but I know I had a connection that was working because the phone was functioning with other aspects very well.

There were issues with the mobile pickup and return but nothing major. Everything was good with the location but the mobile app and online scheduling were kind of cumbersome. The manager there was friendly and assisted promptly. Thanks!

The online self-dispatch portal wasn't great. I encountered issues with it, and it took far longer than it would've taken had I been permitted to check in with the worker at the counter. He was great (the counter worker). I would've preferred to have him help me overall. I had selected checking in with a person, but Uhaul seemingly forced me to utilize the clunky online check in method. That was lame.

The driver cabin was very dirty, this is not acceptable in times of Covid...When I checked out and was asked by the app if the truck is ready for the next family, I said no, but this resulted only in an extra cleaning fee of 25 USD, even though I kept it as clean as possible under this circumstances...there were even used tissues on the floor Of the cabin...I also had a problem when checking out to upload the photo of the mileage, but the service representative just connected me to a phone line where no-one was working...

After being sent to this location from the original reservation location, it took over 30 minutes for this location to locate the keys for the vehicle we were renting. This was in addition to the 20 minutes we waited at the first location and a 25 minute drive to this location.

The truck I was initially assigned was double booked for someone else. Even though I arrived first, they ended up getting their key before me. It took awhile to get another truck and thankfully there was one left.

Please don't overload the lot so trucks get buried when people come get them, I had to wait for an attendant to unbury it, which ate into the time I had paid for. My truck also had less than 1/4 tank of gas when I began my rental, which I then had to refill before leaving. This meant that because I was pre-filling instead of re-filling I overestimated how much gas I should put in to the tank. I will not get that money back. It is important that the truck I am paying for be ready in every sense of the word when I arrive to pick it up.

The lot was a mess. Trucks blocking other trucks, confusion, chaos. I understand that we are all in a tough spot and doing our best right now, but I'm sure there were people who couldn't access their trucks, or had no option for where to park when returning the truck.

Not five stars only because the new software for checking out the truck using a mobile device did not work smoothly, could not find my reservation, quoted the wrong price, and finally forced us to cancel and start over. Matt, the manager, was very patient and helpful -- no complaints at all with him. Covid made it all much more stressful.

i waited at the door while the attendant fiddled around inside. i was supposed to do an online check-in but was unaware of that so i waited and waited... the attendant never did come out to tell me what i should do... it took and service station attendant to tell me the U-Haul attendant would not come out (due to the virus)... i finally figured out that i had to do an online check-in.

They changed pickup location to a crappy pickup place for me and didn't get in touch with me to let me know.. Have rental available where customer needs. Call to make sure customer knows that location has changed

Instead of dropping of the keys in the lockbox, it would be more appropriate that an attendant receive the vehicle and verify the fuel level so that there aren't any discrepancies. This happened to me even though I returned the vehicle during regular business hours (just after 2:30pm).

Uhaul customer service that I called (1800 ) is worst if seen. It took of an hour to do the self check in to leave I had to get the key from the front desk. After confirmed my truck at one location I received a call saying I need to go to a different location. The scheduling manager I was forwarded to was awful. You guys suck and surprised you're still in business.

The young man at the counter was very nice but the truck had 1/8 of a tank of gas when I picked it up, it was raining and the windshield wipers were toast, and there was a dick drawn on the side of the truck
