I work for a moving company with the semi truck it mean I'm renting a lot from U-Haul in that specific location I didn't got the service I was accepting to get it was letting me wait too long until he rented me the truck it was a lot of broken glass pieces in the passenger side, after all I rented U-Haul for one day I returned the truck after 3 hour the next day I saw a charge me $20 for overtime after hours I don't get it you have drop off key the renting it's for 24 hours I returned it after 3 hours so I like to get the answer pleaseAssaf S.

Great service... electrical connector came off the plug on our car... we didn't have lights on the trailer the whole way home and it messed up the pigtail. It all worked out.Ken W.
They charged me a license recovery fee and said it was in case I lost the plates. (why the hell would I pay a fee for lost plates, if I haven't even stepped in the vehicle??). They made me initial that they gave me the truck in clean condition, but there was debris all over the floor of the box. He also charged me taxes for the rental...I rented it in Oregon and dropped it off in Oregon. There is no sales tax in Oregon. I've never paid tax in Oregon for a uhaul rental. The guy also said to inspect it for damage, so I did, and then when I showed him pictures of the damage I found, he said it didn't matter as long as I paid for the insurance. So why the hell would he tell me to check it for damages, and then turn around and tell me it doesn't matter?? Major waste of time and completely misleading information. Ernest was an EXCEPTIONAL employee and made extra effort to make sure our experience was totally satisfactory. We really appreciate his extraordinary care. UHaul didn't provide the equipment we reserved, but because of Ernest's zeal we have a very successful move. Outstanding. The cab on truck was cramped and uncomfortable for long distance travel. Couldn't stretch out for 6 days and 3,267 miles! Extended cab would have been highly appreciated. One of us was disabled and passenger seat didn't recline enough. Foot well was undersized causing a twisted seating position. Dual armrests were excellent, though.Gary R.

only objection is U-hauls requirement for a second contact person - if you're single or don't have personal friends that could be called if I didn't show up with trailer. You get a person's drivers license plus a credit card to cover. Some people object to the "privacy invasion". Just my opinion. Other wise - everything great. Trailer pulls ideally. Was extremely courteous.David C.

Truck wasn't ready. 4 quarts low on oil. Low power steering fluid. Less than 1/4 in fuel. Had not even been checked back in from last customer so I had to wait even longer. Not happythomas S.
I will not be using this location again. Professionalism is at an all time low and excuse making at an all time high.I held up my end of the bargain so I'm very disappointed that service wasn't better. If I do what I'm supposed to do, I expect the same from you. There's another location near by, I wouldn't recommend this one.Roshan A.

I had to wait for an hour to get the truck. There were cigarettes in the ash trey and the truck. I am sensitive to second hand smoke so I had to stop every half an hour do to a bad headache from the smell. The worst moving experience I have had my entire life. I will never refer uhaul to anyone I meetCODY C.

Have equipment ready when reservation is due. They did not have what I requested (Truck and trailer) Had to go to a different location to pick up. Did not call. Made reservation a month in advance and they still didn't have what I needed.RIC B.

I dropped my u-haul after hours. It was a little hard to find at first but they had a drop box and I had no problems with them processing the uhaul return. The location is so-so but it was the closest one to the area of Portland where I was moving to, which was great.SHANNON B.

I rented a truck & when I recieved it, the contract indicated 1/2 tank of fuel. It actually just under, but I figured it was reasonable to round a little. I drove it 27 miles & put 4 gallons in bringing it to nearly identical level that was received. When I received the emailed receipt, it shows 3/8 tank & charged me for 5.6 gallons. I tried calling the local number on the receipt, no one picks up & it is a non-identifying machine that cut me off 10 seconds in to my message. I contacted their customer service online & was told I needed to dispute it at the location! When I told them I tried, I was referred to the regional office. It shouldn't be this hard & honestly probably isn't worth the $22 to keep pursuing.Michael P.
They talked me into bringing the truck back to their location by telling me it would be less expensive than a one way. Turns out, it was more expensive. Additionally, they weren't even sure they had the size I had reserved. One guy was smoking as he was showing me the truck, the other guy had one in his hand ready to light the entire time he was working with me. Gross place.JEANA H.

I don't know if I would recommend it. Odd place, only 1 truck there normally. Had to park on the street. The staff was friendly enough, but only 1 person there knows about Uhaul. It's the only Uhaul close, however, so if a person needs one, that's the choice.Donna C.

U-Haul (overall review) From my 1st time on the internet with U-Haul to the drop off, this has been the smoothest, unstressful, excellent customer service I have ever experienced. My daughter moved from Wheeling, WV, to Portland, OR, and with all the stresses of the move, U-Haul was NOT one of them. Thank you for being so professional and making this move an excellent experience. I would refer U-Haul to anyone needing moving materials/trailers. THANK YOU!jamaca G.

Your place was very convenient to where I had stored my things. I was able to get my trailer and go to my storage unit that was 500 feet from your location. How handy is that. I received a vehicle that had its catalytic converter stolen - not sure why this vehicle was released for rental. Additionally I twice had to call out a technician (once in Oregon and once in Washington) due to engine malfunction. The vehicle would not start and the first technician indicated it was a faulty fuel relay, which he replaced. This was an awful experience.CHRIS T.

It took nearly an hour to get the truck. The employees did not know how to complete process, in fact their job as a mechanic took priority over me as a customer. One employee even complained about the inconvenience of having the uhaul service at his location. There was no lock to secure the gate of the truck. I will not use uhaul to move again. Everything was excellent - customer service, equipment being ready, etc...except that I was supposed to get 12 blankets and only got 6. I saw a plastic package in the back and assumed it held 12. When I got home it only had six. Not a huge issue for me. Otherwise great.Peter F.
When I went to return the truck they tried to charge me hundred and 33 miles when I only use $20 worth of gas on the vehicle there's definitely a problem with this location they don't update their records on vehicles being used in the mileage I'm not at all happy with the way it was handled it took me 45 min. to get this problem fixed. I was given the wrong contract after being rented the wrong truck and waiting for almost 45 minuets. I ultimatly received another customers personal information which included first name, last name, phone number, address, partial credit card and drivers license numbers, and license plate info. Seems like this would fall under a HIPPA law violation. I am now starting to wonder if someone else has all of my personal information which would be completely unacceptable!!! The lack of organization at this facility is completely ridiculous. I tried to call multiple times after I realized their mess up and no one would answer the phone. I will be contacting corporate to file an official complaint. I would not reccomend renting from this Uhaul facially to anyone!JENNIFER B.

I was given a truck that had not been checked in properly - the interior was dirty, and the gas tank was less than half full. Uhaul staff seemed initially reluctant to help me at all, and seemed confused by the software used for rentals. I was also overcharged $30 on mileage. Also, the extra mileage charge was not clear on your site when I reserved the truck. I will never rent from this location again, and from now on I will only use Uhaul as a last resort.Jason B.

I specifically made a reservation to pick up the trailer at a location close to my neighborhood. However I got a phone call the day before pickup telling me I had to retrieve it from a location in North Portland. Had to drive through 30 minutes of heavy traffic to get there. Why is UHaul unable to keep reservation agreements or simply move a trailer to a pre-arranged pickup location? I also had to pay an extra "moving charge" just for the privilege of dropping off a trailer where it was first agreed to!ROBERT J.
This location was not even open when we returned the uhaul. We left a message for the number listed inside of the box and that person never even called us back. And to top it off we returned the truck with more gas than what was in it and was not even reimbursed for it. This is the worst service I have ever had and made my moving trip very uneventful. I need to rent another uhaul to move the rest of my things, but I will be renting through budget.Kaycee H.
