I was left sitting for nearly 3 hours before a very nice man took charge of the situation and finally helped me. The other younger person had just let me sit,and actually suggested I walk to another uhaul dealership to get service. The entire experience was not good.Kristine L.
We were notified that we were tracked with an AirTag to/from our destination and back to our home. This is a major security concern for us, and we returned the vehicle early because of it. If there was supposed to be any form of tracking, it was not disclosed at pickup.Brennan G.

I would not recommend U-Haul in general. This has nothing to do with the location that I picked up from. This is about the total rental experience. First, the issue of U-Haul not guaranteeing my equipment at one location, 2nd, pick up changing 3 times in 24 hours, and 3rd, me having to drive 120 miles to pickup the equipment is terrible customer service.Gerald S.

I think that it's important to remember the rate per mile that was charged versus the amount that showed up on the final contract receipt. The value Plus you all rental vehicle that I rented from value Plus, was a great experience; with one minor exception. I was told by one of the clerks I'd be charged .49 cents a mile, when in reality the receipt that was emailed to me reflected a charge of 69 cents per mile... I am sure this was a minor oversight, but had I driven the 1,000 miles I was expecting to before my employment contract was changed, I might have been a little bit more concerned. All in all my experience with Value Plus, and the U-Haul rental service was exceptional! I personally like to thank Diego, and everyone else at the store, who works there, for their professionalism, and courtesy. I truly anticipate needing another truck again very soon and several more times before the year 2025, and I'll be sure to come back to them every time!Paddy R.

One of the tires was 40 lbs low but difficult to notice by visual inspection because of the axel set up the other tire kept the majority of weight off. When we got trailer on to highway it's a good thing we had a trail car watching because the trailer immediately stared to sway, they pulled up next to trailer and noticed it was low and we were able to pull over and fill up with airChris G.
I believe that it is an unfair business practice for U-Haul not to give credit, when the truck is returned with more fuel than when it was rented. The truck had 3/8 of a tank of gas when rented, it was returned with 5/8 of a tank of gas. Since the tank was 33 gallons, that is approximately 8 additional gallons. This is VERY UNFAIR. I plan to pursue this wrong!!!!!MIKE B.

The back cab was not swept out it was sticky stuff on cabin door. The air does not work you gave to put it on vent low and rill.the windows down plus the vents on. i told the gentleman about it he Basically said yes it do work. they didn't give me a different truck they still charge me. i will never ever go backKITRA D.
The windshield was covered with bugs and there was no washer fluid in the tank. I bought some and filled the tank for my trip. The back of the van was covered with white dog hair. I rent from U Haul often and this was the worst/dirtiest van ever...WALT W.

I have been accused of stealing one of their trucks. From the moment I stepped foot into this place I got an uneasy feeling about it. Originally I was told I had a truck that I didn't want. I reserved a 10' truck and they tried to give me a 20' truck. I didn't want nor need that big of a truck. They did end up giving me a 10' truck but the paperwork didn't match the truck I got. When I said something to the girl she said "oh its ok". I didn't like that response but need a truck and have never had issues with renting a U-Haul before so I took it for face value. I took pictures of the inside dash as the mileage and gas tank didn't match up with my paperwork. I rented this truck on June 30, 2023 and returned it at 3:40pm July 2, 2023. I tried to do the online return process but I kept getting an error. So I dropped the key in the locked key return and left. On July13, I received a call stating that I had not returned the truck and if I didn't return it by 5pm that night they were going to report it stolen. I spoke to this man and told him there is no way that this truck was not there and he said that they have really good security cameras and I am not on the cameras returning this truck. I said that is not possible as I dropped it off between 3:30-4pm on July 2nd. He said he would call the owner and get back to me. I waited a week and never heard back, so I called. He said that it had not been resolved and they reported it stolen. I called the owner and tried to explain the situation to him. He said that he reviewed all the footage on July 4-5 and I was not on the camera. I said well of course I'm not I dropped it off on July 2! He said that he would review the footage from that day and get back to me. I couldn't wait for someone to call me back or get this resolved as I felt I was being falsely accused of something, so I called corporate. The lady from corporate said that she did see that I attempted to return the truck online at 3:38pm July 2, 2023 but was unsuccessful. I explained to her the whole story and she said that she would get a hold of the owner and to give him 2 days to review the footage and wait for a call back. On Saturday July 22, 2023 I got a call from a local police officer saying that they found the vehicle so it was no longer grand theft auto but would be considered a civil suit now. She asked me who I gave the truck to, I said nobody I returned the truck that I had to the place I rented it from. She said that again I am not on camera returning the truck so I am liable for this. When they sent me the paperwork via email once the truck was recovered the truck number that was on it didn't match the truck number I had! I am being wrongfully accused of stealing a truck and not returning it! This place is shady and I will never rent a U-Haul truck again from any facility after this whole situation. I am an honest person with absolutely NO criminal background and for this to be happening to me is absolutely inexcusable! The company messed this up and instead of taking accountability for their employees mistake they are placing the blame on me! I just beat cancer and was moving into a new place to start a new life/next chapter in my life, and now I am having this stress added onto me which is making me sick in more ways than one. The inside of the florence has just a little dirty, from the previous renter. However the overall it was a good first time rental ecperience. The staff was great at checking out. It was a little confusing dropping the truck off. I will rent again and it was worth it 100%.Paula B.

Appointments was to pick up van at 8am and nobody there. Called corporate who transferred us to another nearby location to pick up a vehicle. While on the way to new location, got a call from the first location to come back as someone was now there. When we got there, was given a van that keys didn't start the engine. Given the correct keys but showed a rear tire was low on pressure. Finally given another van to drive. This really dug into the time we needed to be on the road! And not even an apology for not being there at 8am as scheduled!Chris H.

Again I am not happy becathere was a record of where the was and I have a witness where the needle was when I dropped it off.... And I still got charged for the gas.... Told clerk we needed a truck for entire day and only booked it until 315pm. Pickup time was at 9am. 6 hours for out of town delivery is not sufficient. Paid for a day should get full day. Lady called around 5 to say we were late and was rude. Never have I seen such complete incompetenceLAWRENCE R.
terrible customer service. equipment wasnt even available after we had already called in and verified that it would be. the truck wasnt cleanout so it had dirt marks on my furniture and cushions. the quy was rude for no reason and kept trying to find reasons to tack on charges. our residents was less than 4 miles from the uhaul place and they tried charging us extra saying that the meter showed over 1500 miles used in only a 4 hour time span. it was beyond ridiculous the experience we had there and i will never go back to this location again. the worse part was that a friend had previously told me how rude and weird they were at this location and i thought because it was in my area i would patronize the business but next time i will definitely use the other locations and not ever deal with this one againdaniel A.
