The person working was rude. I would have never chosen this location if I knew it was in the middle of nowhere and so far from where I was moving to. It was just the first location that popped up. Upon returning the truck I stopped at the gas pump to put fuel in at the gas station it was picked up from and the pumps were closed so I had to pay $60 for not putting a quarter of a tank of gas in. This location was horrible and completely out of the way, which again cost me more money in mileage and fuel.

The gentlemen that was running the store starting yelling at me because I asked where my two dolly's and furnace pads were. He said I needed to call him directly and ask him to rent them to me and he did not have any. I told him i ordered the truck and car dolly online and U-Haul called me to change locations three days prior and said they needed to change the location to his place and I added those items on when they called. They said on the phone it was no problem and he would have the supplies. He said well he didn't have any because I did call him and ask. I said well make sure it's not on my bill and he said it wouldn't be because I never asked him for them. I told him to look again and he said oh my they are there. Well maybe I do have these items. And he went in the back and said okay I do have them. He lied to me about having them. He was going to charge me for them and not give them to me. Then he didn't take any pictures or marks on the vehicle and there were marks so I took pictures with his store in the picture so you knew I was at his place of business again. Finally he charged me more for the pads then the website states. The websites only option is 5 dozen pads for 15.00. He charged me 50.00. I will be contacting U-Haul about that for a refund. Then he did t show me how to hook the car or the the car dolly to the truck. It was raining and he didn't want to be in the rain.

I went through the process to check in on my phone before I arrived. The owner then made me go back through the process and said my card was a prepaid when it wasn't it was a business debit card. He told me it would be double because of it being prepaid. Then told me to enter my card again. I did and pressed next he then got mad at me for pressing next and spent 3 minutes telling me how I shouldn't do that. Then when I checked out he told me I couldn't leave my car there and that it wasn't his problem.

Because U-Haul doesn't put any type of jack stand on the tongue of the trailer so that you can raise the trailer off the hitch ball and, because the trailer tongue weighs a considerable amount, I needed help taking the trailer off the car hitch. The person at this store was hesitant because he immediately told me he had back problems. U-Haul put the trailer onto my hitch, someone should be available to help take it off. I was able finally get it unhooked, but this shouldn't have been a big deal. This wouldn't be a problem on any of the U-Haul trailers if they would just attach a jack stand on each trailer.

The man that helped us also runs the convenient store, so he was multi tasking. He made sure that we were properly connected to the hitch, brakes & signals. The process is smooth as long as you have checked in through the app or online. This is the second time we have used this location. We always request a location in Tullahoma, TN, but it always gets switched to this Normandy, TN location (not sure why because one rental was a truck and one rental was a trailer).

Do not fraud your customers. Attendant wouldnot check me in while i was at the location then did it later so he could charge an extra day.

Actually have a truck for my reservation would be great thanks for literally nothing. I had to drive to several locations just to get the attachments I purchased now I have multiple deposits instead of one. Uhual should be ashamed.
