The truck was dirty and smelled horrible. The gas station was not clean, not very safe feeling and the guy at the counter extremely unfriendly and argumentative. I came in and said "I'm here for U-Haul" and his response was "what about it?" and it took far too long to get situated. Also, my equipment (dolly and furniture pad) were not provided.

The location was very unsafe. Very uncomfortable . There were odd people hanging around the outside of location . Maybe drug addicts or drunks . Yelling and talking to themselves. This is not a good location for uhaul . Very disappointed., Could not understand the attendants english .

Very easy pick up. Store manager had extra equipment to rent that we forgot to order when ordering the Uhaul. Efficient, no problems.

Location is Valero Gas Station, picked up van 10/6/20, 12:48 p.m. returned 10/6/20 2:46 p.m. The odometer read 16039 returned 16067 was charged for 50 miles not 28 miles. Lady operating the station was pleasant but unable to do return, so I had to wait nearly an hour for Mr. Musheer Rashada to come to station for him to do return. To add insult to injury, the lady didn't tell me I had to replace gas, which I could have easily done while waiting for Mr. Rashada since this is a gas station and there are two gas stations one block from this one. I'd recommend for convenience of location and hours. Very hands off otherwise which is fine. Beyond advising me to use the app when I first walked in, there was little more than transaction confirmation after I came back in with a completed online reservation. Don't know if they had supplies as there was no interaction. We ended up buying those supplies from the excellent U-Haul store near the move area.

Check in was ridiculous. The clerk wanted me to tell her which key to give us to the truck. She did not know what she was doing. We had to wait until the manger arrived to get the truck. Once he arrived we were able to complete the transaction but the delay to our schedule was problematic.

This gas station was disgusting, homeless people sleeping on the sidewalk, panhandlers, clerk too busy to help, owner if gas station impossible to understand. Really, really bad.

I registered to pick up my uhaul using just my phone, however, when I arrived it did not work and my uhaul account said I was not permitted to do that. The man that helped me at the gas station was very nice and helped me find a truck when the correct size wasn't available either. It's like my reservation didn't even exist, but the gas station attendant remedied everything. It's not the location that was the problem it was uhaul.

The only thing appealing about this location is the physical location. Otherwise it's just a rundown gas station with broken pumps and so many parked vehicles that it feels like an obstacle course. U-Haul specific signage and dedicated parking would greatly improve the rental process here.

To improve the experience for the next customer you will never ever have anyone pickup or drop off from this location. First I was told to call customer service because they didn't have my reservation. Then after returning 10 minutes later the individual called someone who found my reservation. Incredibly stressful experience as I would have gone elsewhere if the next closet at branch had a truck the size I needed. Of course all this happens when while waiting for convenience store customers. When returning I was asked to wait for several convenience store customers only for the clerk to realize I did online return. Also, after being around the customers of this location I will never return there.

Dropped off the same day and are now charging me 11 day late fee The vehicle was used for less than 25 miles and was dropped off the same day as pick up and the direction that were given to us at this location were followed

Horrifying experience. U-Haul should be ashamed they rent vehicles thru this type of location. It took 1.5 hours here to get the vehicle rented. Terrible Terrible Terrible

The type of vehicle I reserved was not available, check out time was extremely long given that I was the only one renting a truck and I have had numerous issues with the bill. Very dissapointing.

Make sure that the van is up to par. Make sure previous occupant left it clean and if they didn't that management does so. Make sure that the brake lights are working properly. The right passenger tail light was out.

This location is full of Crack Heads who beg you for Money, The Staff is Rude and Nasty. I Will Never rent another Uhaul from this location and if This is what Uhaul likes to be seen as maybe I don't need to use Uhaul again. This was a horrible experience

When I arrived to pickup the van, the woman behind the counter at the gas station called a man and I had to to the whole transaction over the phone. There was no paperwork exchanged. When I got into the can the back was filthy and there was trash everywhere. Overall it wasn't a pleasant experience and I won't be renting from this location in the future.

The customer service wasn't great. They didn't give me gas or mileage at the beginning do when I turned it in they argued with me on the gas and mileage. I was very disappointed with the wait as he did everything on his phone and the wifi kept going out. People began to get impatient bc I was holding up the line in the gas station.

- When making a reservation through Uhaul, I did not get much information about next steps. The person who took my reservation also did not let me know I would be picking up from a different location than the one I made a reservation through, so the process was a little confusing. - I had to re-give my credit card information to the Valero employee over the phone, which was a little uncomfortable. My information should have already been on file as I gave it to the person who took my reservation. - The truck we were assigned had been vandalized. They do not seem to keep the trucks locked so people camp out in them and leave trash and cigarettes - They were accommodating and gave us a different truck, which was in much better condition, but was still a little gross in the cargo area.

The roof needs several patches to keep the cargo area dry. The cab needs to be locked to keep people from sleeping in it.

When I pulled up to get my uhaul, there was a homeless man packing up his bags and moving out of the truck. It looked like he had been living in there overnight. When I opened the back of the truck, there were moving blankets covered in urine and the entire truck smelled like an ashtray. All of my belongings now smell like smoke. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with uhaul and I have been a very loyal customer. I am very upset with this experience.

It was disappointing and concerning that the manager did not know how to handle my request when I arrived and had me call the call centerfold make a reservation. Additionally, it was also concerning that he was putting my personal information in his phone. Finally the whole process took way to long.

Why was I charged $6.00 for fuel when I traveled only 3 miles?

Over the complete time the truck worked out great. The only thing I was unhappy with is I had to put $36.00 worth of gas in the truck to just drive it eleven miles round trip. That's about $3.10 a mile that's unacceptable. I don't mine replacing the gas but if I pay .79 cent a mile for the truck and then $3.10 a mile for gas thats almost $ 4.00 a mile to drive the truck. .Who can afford that ?

This place double book the same truck. Had I not gotten there when I did I would have been out of luck as the lady behind me made her reservation just as I did. They also charged my card for 27 miles. Thankfully I took picture of the odometer before and after I left. This experience was absolutely miserable and I don't know that I'll ever use uhaul again after this experience.

The people at the store could not find my reservation before or after I used the truck. It wasn't their fault; it appeared to be a uhaul website issue. The brakes on my truck shuddered when braking.

This gas station where I made the pick up is very busy. This caused the pickup and drop off to be slower than I would have liked. There was an issue finding my reservation, so I was delayed in leaving and the attendant was trying to solve my problem while also taking care of customers.

When I finally received the U-Haul, the inside of the vehicle had 2 empty water bottles and 1gatorade bottle that was half full. It contained an empty box of cigarettes and burned out cigarettes in the ashtray. The inside of the U-Haul smelled of stale cigarettes. Once I was ready to load my belongings on the truck, I opened the rear and found a couch inside. I have never had to deal with the service I received. Upon returning the U-Haul, the person in the store started my return of it, but would take all the customers that were in line before assisting me. Once I finally did get through the process I asked if I could change the card I was going to use, he ignored my request and collected the payment off the card on file. He was very rude and unhelpful. I would never recommend this location to anyone. I would insist on them using an actual U-Haul place.

This location is awful. They could not use the software on their phone and did not know the process. The guy behind the bullet proof glass would not let me leave until he checked in the truck which he didn't know how to do. Meanwhile, it was in a rough part of town and lots of rough people and what appeared to be prostitutes were coming in and buying single cigarettes. This store should not be a uhaul rental location.

The gas station attendant, though nice, had no idea how to check me in for the van pick up. He had to call his boss to figure it all out. And when it was time for me to drop the van off, the attendant spent about 15 minutes between the phone and cash register trying to figure out my mileage on the vans dashboard. By the end of it, he gave me no real confirmation on my mileage. He just told me to check my email. A few hours passed when I got an email from UHaul. And I noticed that I was incorrectly surcharged for 3 gallons of gas on this vehicle. Even though when I picked up the vehicle, the gas station attendant told me to bring it back at 3/4 of a tank. So upon dropping off the van, I filled up the gas tank (at the gas station I picked it up from) to 3/4 of a tank. I would like my $15 back or I am just going to contact my bank to for the fraudulent transaction.

The contractor for this location is very a con artist. We had a horrific experience picking up the van. First he said there's no reservation under my name and sent me home. Since I was dropped off by my niece, who was running late to another appointment, I had to walk home in the 100 degree heat. As I'm half way down the street I get a text from Uhaul saying my van is ready for pick up. When I got to the gas station to pick up my van he proceed to ask me for a guesstimate of mileage from my starting point to my destination. I had to step outside of the gas station to map quest my trip because I didn't have any reception. Once I gave him the guesstimate mileage he begins to enter it into his phone. He spent over 15 minutes typing stuff into his phone. Once everything was finalized he told me I can leave now. I asked him for a receipt and he said he didn't charge me anything. He said I will pay for the rental once I reached my destination. Please keep in mind this is a one way rental. I told him I do not want any surprises when I return the van. He smartass-ly replied with you will pay whatever you were quoted online. I then proceed to show him my reservation screen showing $128 flat rate fee for the for 10' van for 2 days with 127 miles. He again told me you will get charged that if that's what you were quoted and still refusing to give me a receipt. At this point I am late and super annoyed, so I left. Once I reached my destination and was returning the van I was notified that my credit card was charged $203.65. I reached out to Uhaul's customer service and found out I was signed up for moving insurance, which was an additional $50. I know 110% sure I did not opt in for the insurance. Not only did I have to jump through hoops to get the van but now I have to dispute a charge for a service I never signed up for. I strongly believe he added this service in with my consent and I would love to know why. I will never rent from this location again. I am not giving up doing business with Uhaul because I know it's not their fault since they have no control over what their contractors do but I hope they will look into this incident. I would hate to see Uhaul loss businesses for the scams their contractors pull
