Friendly owner and good conversation

Stacy BThe drop off location was a convenience store. The attendant was an older petite woman that most likely could not unhook the trailer. This did not pose a problem for me, but may have been a problem for someone else.
STEPHEN SI wrote a bad review couple weeks ago for a trailer I rented. U-Haul dropped the ball again on this trailer I rented. I reserved the trailer with my local dealer 10 minutes and 8 miles away for pick up Friday at 7:00 pm and return it Saturday night at 7:00 pm that time would allow me to get there right after work.Well when U-Haul called 2 days before pick up the ride employee told me the only place I can pick it up is 45 minutes and 30 miles away.WTF. since the screwed me on the last one I played it smart and called the dealer direct with my reservation number, he said he has the trailer but 5:00 pm is the latest he will do it even though my reservation is for 7:00 pm. So now I had to leave work early to get there on time which is 1 hour in the opposite direction of home to then drive the 45 minutes home. Thanks U-Haul you dumb asses for the second time.

Paul KThey gave me a date and time to return the U-Haul trailer and I did everything they told me to do and I got charged for dropping the U-Haul trailer off . They never said anything like that . This is just wrong

Donald HOil needed changed was tapping, inside dirty roof, engine light on and had to wait for guy to wait on convenience store drivers before us when we had appt, charged extra 20 for gas and we know we filled it
Jean PI have weak hands and back and neck problems. I took the trailer off the ball of my truck. I didn't realize it was going to start rolling downhill. When I finally realize that I couldn't get the trailer backed up to the curb and stay I asked for help, the man in the store was mopping the floor and told me he was closed, he had just backed a truck up, went into the store, knowing I was there to drop off a trailer and would not help me. I told him I was weak and he told me to do it like the other As I pulled the trailer around to the side, so it wouldn't fall downhill in the middle of the parking lot, I pulled out and the man was walking towards me with a metal object, I assumed to do something with it. He looked at me disapprovingly and I nodded and drove off. I did all I could.

Justin BI never received my deposit back. They took 157 from me, I had the trailer for two days and then they said it cost 117. I'm not sure in what world 54+54 is 117 and even if it was 117 the rest of my deposit was not returned.

carmel jWell I called the local office and was told there was 30 percent over on mileage. Not true. I returned it at fuel consumption and was charged for fuel. I asked if there was any hidden fees and there was!
Donald SThis location was the closest location to my parents house in a small town. I selected mobile pickup and when I arrived my reservation have not been confirmed through the pickup location so I had to go inside and do it all with gas station attendant wile he checked out with customers. I had chose the app pickup bc I wanted to avoided all this headache and it cost me time on picking up my unit. Attendant was nice and friendly and I had no issue with the person helping me I just wish I had been able to pick up truck as the reservation was set up for. Also truck was extremely dirty inside mud cover floor mats there was water inside the pull handles for the doors which I had to clean out prior to use and the back of the truck looked as though someone had hauled sod in it.

Steve BFraudulent charge for "safe move" of $15 added to invoice to pad their profits at local UHAUL company. Coverage was declined in person, because my credit card company has special rental coverage benefits. We were still charged for the $15 safe move. This has been disputed with the credit card company.

Brian BThe folks were nice and the truck was fine. However I paid cash for everything and once I got home and checked my bank account, they had charged my debit card also. I called to get it fixed, but can't understand them on the phone and they hung up. I'm gonna try calling them one more time today and then go to my bank and dispute the charge.

Raymond TThe man working hooked up the trailer to my yucon. We watched. My 31 yr old niece asked him three times if he locked it down. He continued to say yes he knew how to do it. Well not only did he not lock it down, it was missing the screw. It came loose from my Yucon, rammed it twice. Put a dent in one place and a big hole in another and now my yocon bounces when I drive it. And when my niece came back to tell him he hid in the back room. And yes I paid for your insurance. Worst business I have ever done business with. Not to mention it took him 4 hours to get the right trailer.
melissa hOnly one person in store but the women inside couldn't have helped me to get the trailer off the car. My wife and I struggled to get it off but we did and then let the store know it was there. Letting uhaul knowing we were dropping it off was a little confusing and took some time to get that done too.
PHILLIP PI had to hook up the trailer myself. The staff there had not been trained and did not know how to work equipment (ie trailer lift)
