Location was great overall! There is some tall grass surrounding the parking lot- would have been nicer if it was cut short so that I could have taken better pictures of the U-Haul. The location was closed, but an employee had stopped by briefly to pick up some personal items it looked like. He advised me to drop the keys off in the box out front and was very kind/helpful.Ravi L.

The guy that helped me on eldridge was great but I went to the one on 9411 Farm to Market 1960 Rd W, Houston, TX 77070 and there was a girl that lied to me and was also just complaining about being tired so I'm guessing she didnt want to work and thats why she didnt help me. I was there on 6/3/2021 around 11:00am if she doesnt want to work thats great but she needs to get another job because I was on an emergency but she refuse to help me.RICARDO C.

Uhaul booked the appointment for 7am which is why I chose this location, however the business didn't open until 7:30. I needed to get on the road ASAP because of a winter storm. Not Valero Automotives fault as the owner was very quick and helpful.Randall A.

Returning the truck/equipment was not clear at the time of rental pickup. They charge $20 if the return process is not completed corrected. I feel that this is a way to extract money from the customer. The instructions were to just drop the keys in the drop box and return the gas at the position it was on.CACYNTHIA R.

The straps were tied in a knot when I got there like a dummy I didn't untie and inspect them when I got home about 45 minutes away the straps to tie down the car were absolutely not useable. I left without working lights and was told to go up the road to the next uhaul place they didn't want to help because they didn't rent it so they sent me yet another 5 miles in the wrong direction to a third place that manager did diagnose the issue. Long story short I am two hours into the lights then by the time I make it home to load the utv I find the straps unusable. I call and no answer or machine just rings they are closed and I am about to cross the country on a 1800 mile trip. I was pissed horrible experience. I had my own straps that I used but I knew that I might have issues in NY when I dropped off the auto hauler. The highlight of the entire trip was the dealer in NY. Super suds attendant listened to my saga looked at my pictures of the straps and pictures of how I had my utv tied down he apologized for the condition of the rental when I got it and said he would have them repaired. I will save my pictures if your interested but you got my money so I doubt that I will hear from anyone.PAUL D.

They said the hauler would accommodate the vehicle tires I was hauling. I show pictures and gave size. The straps didn't come close to fitting. Was a long and stressful day. The rental place guys were nice and I would use them again. The equipment didn't fit my job and made for an unsafe haul.Christopher M.

This team did not check mileage, gas levels or check to see if the rented pads were accounted for to close out transaction with me onsite. Took the keys and just said "thanks". Took close to 24 hours to close out the rental in computer system. I was concerned enough I contacted UHaul 1-800 number to ask this location for a receipt on my behalf. I have since received this receipt and fortunately mileage and gas levels etc. matched my data.Franklin T.

The 5'x8' covered trailer was clean and in good traveling condition although it was very old and even had a hole in the interior aluminum decking; another (apparent) hole had already been patched. A heavy, pointed abject could have slipped through that hole and caused an accident. Caution should be taken before re-renting this particular trailer.ROBERT A.

I have no issues with location or personnel, but I have issues with your system. You have cost me so much money and time. First the truck to be picked up was far out from where we scheduled to pick up. This cost me miles, time paid to people waiting to help load and not finishing on time and not having time to go back for second load. The idea is to schedule at one location and pick the truck there not to drive all over town to pick it up. I am very angry and upset. I dont have a job and I had a gift card to pay which it was not enough thanks to your system to make more money.lorena S.
The inside of the truck was NOT clean. There were ashes and marijuana seeds along with cigarette butts in the truck. Trash was on the floor and between the seats. The truck also had a terrible smell.

Communicate the new policy on two forms of picture id and phone # prior to the reservation day. Why is Uhaul requesting for customers to leave their secondary form of ID like a US passport with the rental site until the equipment is returned? There is a lot of things wrong with this request in terms of protecting my confidentiality. What the plan of action if this document is lost or damaged? How is it kept secure at the location? Does Uhaul require a background check to submitted on every subcontractor employees that leases equipment? Not sure why I share my thoughts or comments because nothing ever happens. Reserved a trailer 2 weeks in advance. Called day before to confirm. Asked what time they opened. They said 7A. I arrived around mid morning and they said they had already given the trailer to someone else. There were two others on the lot , but they wouldn't give me either one. Said they were reserved. I asked what about mine that was reserved. They said very curtly, "You should have come earlier." Their whole attitude and concept of guest relations was terrible. Nathaniel said, I'm not the one who made the reservation and there's nothing I can do." Will never go back .Larry J.
Claimed half the tank would be full when I received it, was around a third. Claimed I didn't have a reservation. Thankfully no one else had come to rent in the meantime. Truck smelled terrible. Overall would be tough to recommend this location to another person and won't be using it again.AMAAR B.
