I was charged $33.25 for fuel. When I picked up the rental truck it only had Â¾ of a tank of fuel in it. I returned the rental truck with more than Â¾ a tank of fuel in it. Please refund the amount of $33.25 to my card. To improve for the next customer: Rent vehicles with full tank of gas and do not over charge customer. Clean vehicles before renting them. It took about an hour to pick up the truck with the customer contact less service. Streamline the time it takes to pick up a rental.Eric D.

The truck had mud on the windshield and greasy fingerprints on the door. I tried to upload photos of the truck but the app just spun for a few minutes and never uploaded the photos. My original contract was at the S. Virginia store in Reno NV. I was notified on Jan 15 that there was a problem with my order. I was told to go the Carson City store to p[ick up the trailer as they did not have any on site. Upon reaching Carson City I was advised that they did not have the trailer. At first I was going to go to Penske because of the fiasco, then the manager and one assistant found a trailer back in Reno. This was very aggravteing and a major disappointment.. I will not use U-Haul again..!!!!THOMAS S.

This location was not the location where the original reservation was made. Personnel at both locations were courteous and helpful, but I was bounced to the 4th Street location because the truck I had reserved at the original location simply did not exist there. The problem is with online booking, scheduling , and dispatch and it allows far too many multiple bookings for the same truck. This not only shortened the time I had to use the truck, but I had to drive further (with additional cost)--Not Acceptable.ROSS ALLEN S.

Could not fine a one way trailer so had to pay the gas back to Reno 3.5 hrs each way for a total of 7 hrs driving cost for time and gas was expensive!!!!! Was stuck and had no other alternative that to being the trailer back! I thought all hauls were able to be rented and do a one way!!! Not very happy I had to waist so much time and $$$ to bring back to Reno vs dropping off at nearest uhaul!!!GARY C.
The Saturday morning crew were AWESOME. They managed my return (and potential HUGE drop-off fee) flawlessly and did it professionally and without me asking for help. To prevent such surprises, the attendants at pickup locations should alert to drop off fees AND IT SHOULD BE ON THE CONTRACT! Rental was not ready for the confirmed date, but ready the second say. Girl at the desk was very knowledgeable, but when my wife asked to use the restroom she told her there wasn't one that she would have to got to the gas station down the street, but actually the day before, she told a male customer the restroom was in the back?!?. Very disappointed that our rental wasn't ready on the confirmed date and no phone call from u-haul was received or that when the pick up location was changed the second day, no phone call was received either.WADE CASE S.

This "office" was closed shortly after 5 PM. That would have been good information to know when I selected it for my dropoff. The after hours drop-off process is a little clunky by smart phone. It would be nice if the location stayed open until 6 PM or at least provided that information up front so I could have phoned to confirm procedures.Gregory M.

The website said it I would get a phone call the day before pick-up. I did not. I called the morning of the pick-up and the man on the phone was not friendly. His demeanor was better in person. I rented six furniture pads and that was acknowledged during check-in, but they were not given to me. I drove away and had to turn around to get them. The woman who then gave them to me did not apologize or otherwise acknowledge their screw-up. Disappointing.JAMES RICHARD S.
The truck I ordered was â€˜not available' when I showed up to pick up, so some sort of contact system would be nice. The truck the girl (super rude and disrespectful employee as well) gave me was terrible. Engine issues- rough to start (needs extra crank time etc.); low idle nearly sputtering out at stop lights; lack of acceleration; terrible brakes sometimes felt like I wouldn't stop; steering/alignment issues. I also made my appointment for 11:00 am and the girl told me I was late and that my appointment was at 9am or something and that the booking system wasn't very accurate so I guess fix that too. I appreciate the service you guys provide but the locations used for the franchises need to be checked out/reviews periodically because this one was not up to par.COLIN RICHARD A.

Returned the truck at 5:05pm After suggesting I use the night drop because we were running 30 minutes behind she then casually mentioned that I would be charged an entire extra day for the truck, blankets and dollie. They demanded that I leave it at the night drop because it was going out the next morning when I suggested they were double dipping by charging me and stated that I would keep the truck since I was being charged she reiterated that I could not because it was rented. We went round and round that it was an unethical practice to charge me and someone else for the same day. When I arrived at 5:05 they were still working but had the access gate closed. Beware and read your contract because they don't go over it with you. Their hours seem to be intentionally short. Also, filthy cab of the truck. I mean Disgusting and amidst COVID!?! The female also told me I could go down to the field and get my truck after bringing the prior customers right to the door. This was the 4th Street location in Reno. By the way. The 20 foot truck I rented had super high mileage and just about shimmied off the road when you go over 45 mph. Smelled like the engine was burning up going up hills despite not pushing the truck above 30. Think twice before using this location as their is zero customer service with filthy barely running trucks.DEBORAH SUE H.

I ordered 6 Furniture Pads, they were not in the unlocked truck or in the open cargo area of the truck. I called and complained about the missing pads when I picked up the truck and again when I returned it.
