My issues are primarily with this location and not with UHaul in general. I reserved the equipment to be picked up at 9am and even after getting UHaul involved the agent did not show up to the location until 945 and then went straight to the bathroom for several minutes. I was not able to leave until after 10am. Also while the agent was doing his paperwork he added an insurance coverage that I had specifically denied online adding to the cost of the rental. The extra charges were refunded and I was given a $50 refund for them being late but I will never rent equipment from this location again.

Could not find keys. No information was given as to their location. Turns out they are on the opposite side of the building. The truck was obviously dirty on the inside. Looked like a dark beverage had been spilled all over the cup holders. I was charged 3 different charges and still have only received my money back for one of the two I was supposed to. I'm currently behind ignored by the regional manager about said over charge.

Do not rent from here. We reserved our truck in August.(8.12.19) Two days before pick up (10.11.19) we were contacted by two different people saying we needed to pick up our truck at two different locations. One being further away from where we needed to go. When we went to pick up the truck, a gentleman said he was going to make some changes to our reservation to help save us a little money. Upon changing our reservation, he didn't inform us of the changes he made, including our miles. At the time we did not know this. We didn't find this out until we dropped it off and couldn't finish closing our account because we had apparently went over our miles. We were also told told put down a hundred dollar deposit we were told we would get back. When dropping it off we were told that they couldn't finish our account because shelburn had to refund it. I called customer service and was them told that we never should have paid a deposit because we paid flat rate. We dropped our truck off around 8:30 this morning and still haven't been able to get a direct answer from anyone.

The place was pretty unorganized. The conputer crashed first thing. The truck had less than 1/4 tank of gas in it, (I have a picture of it before we even left the lot) The guy, Mike said he would be there until about 10PM, (a little disgusted by that fact) We returned at 3:45PM and the door was locked and he was no where to be found. We had to go next door to the fireworks stand and they had to send someone to find him. Finally 15-20 minutes later, he shows up. We return the truck and the final cost was almost $60 more than what was originally quoted to us. So , no. I dont think we will be recommending this place in the future. OH! And we only returned the truck with 1/4 tank gas since that is all you seemed to want to give us.

the two dozenFurniture pads ordered and paid for were not provided. I was told that the or owner would call me and make resolution this never happened.the tie-down areas at the end of the truck to secure the load were busted not able to properly secure my load to prevent not having the furniture pads in the truck to cover 3 solid wood bedroom outfits coffee tables in tables and much more. We ended up having to go to a thrift store and pick up comforters and blankets to use in place of pads we did not receive costing us $100 extra to move.

I was ripped off. I trusted the guy reading the odometer and didn't check it myself with him. Actually he never asked or said he was doing it. Upon returning to facility I was told I had driven 90 miles that day. I actually drove 51 miles because I retraced my route with my car. Never trust them again! Plus I was charged for all of those miles even after I questioned it.

U-Haul changed my pickup location to USA Powersports and Storage for pickup on a day when the location was not open. Upon arrival, a manager was on premise and attempted to assist me with getting my truck. Not only was the trucks odometer incorrectly listed on the pickup contract, the fuel was listed 7/8 full instead of 1/8 full. I did not notice these errors until on the road and it greatly complicated my return of the vehicle.

U-Haul called and asked me if I dropped off the trailer and when. The agent asked me when I dropped off the trailer. Shouldn't the drop-off location take care of completing the transaction? I never received a confirmation of the completed transaction.

The vehicle transport trailer worked out very well for me. I needed it first thing that morning and Shelburn happen to have just what I needed.

The inside of the cab was filthy. There was mud and trash all over the floor and a set of someone's personal keys was found in the door. My paperwork said that there was a 1/4 tank of gas, but when I started the truck it was dead empty and I had to drive to the nearest station before I could go home.

Make sure you contact you dealers for the after hours mobile pick up. Our location promptly came in and was very nice. But if they aren't aware they can't have vehicle ready

They did not check in a trailer that I dropped off for days. And u'haul got ahold of me asking where it was. The u-haul people were very nice but I won't suggest dropping off anything at this location. They are too slow to report back to u-haul that someone turned something in.

The owner did not check over the gas meter with me. I should have asked but didn't. They said it had 3/4 tank but really only had Half tank. Also I was charged for 35 miles that I shouldn't have been due to the fact that uhaul screwed up my reservation and I had to go to a different location a half hour away to get the things I needed. Then when I arrived the reservation was still not right but at that point I was ready to get moved and disnt have time to go elsewhere.

I HAD A DAY FROM HELL YESTERDAY WE ARRIVED TO GET THE UHAUL, AND THE UNFRIENDLY GUY DROPPED THE TRAILOR TO THE GROUND VERY HARD THREE TIMES, THEN WHEN WE ASK FOR DOLLY THEY SAID THEY DID NOT HAVE ONE , MY HUSBAND ASK ABOUT THE LIGHT ADAPTER THE GUYS SAID WE WOULD HAVE TO GO BUY ONE, THEY DIDNT HAVE ONE, WE GOT THE TRAILOR 70 MILES AWAY TO OUR DESTINATION, AND THE REAR DOOR WOULD NOT OPEN,WE CALLED THE UHAUL PLACE WE GOT IT FROM WAS TRANSFERRED SEVEN TIMES FINALLY THEY TOLD US TO CALL THE 800 NUMBER ON CONTRACT,NO MERCYS FOR OUR SITUATION, FINALLY AFTER 2 HRS OF STRUGGLING MY HUSBAND GOT THE DOOR TO OPEN, WE LOADED THE TRAILOR, WENT TO PUT DOOR DOWN AND IT WOULDNT GO DOWN,SO AGAIN ANOTHER CALL TO UHAUL,THIS TIME 9 TIMES STILL DID NOT GET HELP JUST KEPT GETTING TRANSFERRED,SO HUSBAND WHO IS 70 YRS OLD AND HAD LOADED FURNITURE BY HAND BECAUSE THERE WAS NO DOLLYS,HAD TO ROPE THE BACK OF OUR UHAUL TO SECURE OUR LOAD, ROAD SIDE ASSISTANCE SAID THEY WOULD MEET US AT OOUR RESIDENCE TO GET THE DOOR UP THE REST OF THE WAY ,DIDNT SHOW UP FOR AN HOUR HUSBAND AGAIN STRUGGLED TIL HE GOT DOOR UP STILL NO ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE SO WE CANCELED SERVICE UNLOADED OUR LOAD AND TOOK IT BACK. A DAY FROM HELL FOR JUNK THAT COST US HOURS OF FRUSTRATIONS AND BRUISES TO A 70 YR OLD MAN, AND NO ONE OFFERED TO MAKE IT RIGHT! I THINK WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN GIVEN OUR MONEY BACK FOR THIS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I WOULD NEVER RENT FROM UHAUL AGAIN AND WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW OF MY EXPERIENCE. When we showed up to drop off the trailer, no one was there. so we called the number on the door and a gentleman answered the phone and told us he would mark it as in for us. When I called customer service on Monday afternoon, it still wasn't marked as returned. So I had to call the drop off location again and they then marked it as returned.

The only thing I didn't like was after filling the fuel tank and only using 1/4 of that.not receiving any credit for that and still had to pay a 7.75 difference for just a few extra miles. You received 50 bucks worth of fuel! For free, and charged me again. This stupid ass way if cheering customers makes you look like criminals. I will use Ryder next time.

The truck was dirty no moving blankets no a/c took an hour to pick up truck. Then when we returned truck i was told to but gas gage between 3/8 and 1/2 tank. I did this and was charded 21 dollars for 1/16 of a tank of gas. The guy at drop off location was rude and didnt care that the truck was dirty and broke when we rented it. We will not use uhaul again ever if problems not addressed and compensated. We still have things to move from old house to new.
