From the start this was a bad experience; From a canceled reservation even with reservation guarantee, to pickup location. The employees handling my reservation were not helpful and caught an attitude when I was asking questions about my reservation. They charged me for after hours even though I had the truck reserved for 24 hours. Very rude on the phone. I have always had good experiences with uhaul but this time was awful.Viviana F.

The customer service was bad, because this location is at a gas station. Only one person working there. So every time a person comes in to make a purchase, you have to wait.RICHARD R.

The online check in process is an absolute disaster with all the different sources of verification required which I didn't have since I was by myself. Complete waste of time and you should just place a label telling customers not to bother with it because short of a dna, blood and hair sample, it is near impossible to do the on line check in efficiently. Never again.David B.

The uhaul agent was helpful and friendly. The uhaul app is another story. I checked In completely the day before pickup. Apparently the app didn't save the check in because had to do it all over again at pickup. Upon returning the equipment the app was very tedious and difficult to use. It made me upload the same picture 5 times saying I needed a more recent picture. I'd taken the pictures at that moment. Then the key wouldn't fit into the lock box so I had to come back the next morning to return it in person. The van and the rental agent were great. The app is horrific!! For that reason I can't in good faith recommend uhaulMICHAEL C.

Filled the uhaul tank to more then half full, when it was only half filled when I picked it up, and the guy still said I needed a little more and charged me $42. Also when I arrived to the Lu action they had given me he said they don't take car trailers. Just all around very frustrating to rent with you guys and not customer friendly whatsoever.Randy B.

I would have given an Excellent rating to the location but I have a serious complaint anout the website which needs your undivided attention. I reserved moving help at the same time that I reserved the truck on your website. I even sent them an email with further details before finializing the transaction. Your website did not give me any infornation as to how to contact the movers or confirm whether they accepted my request. I received no email or call from them. The moving company was on my original confirmation but then disappeared once I picked up the truck. I tried calling Uhual but the rep told me to speak to someone from moving help.com but I couldnt find a number just a chatting site that didnt work. A female friend and I had to move large furniture on our own which was dangerous and took 6HOURS. I would give you a lower rating but the truck pickup and dropoff were seamless with no problems. Please fix this or do something about offering and being affliated with a service that is completely and utterly unreliable.Fateen A.

My experience was horrible I had a reservation for 56th St. location that was only 4.2 miles away from where I had to be to move my stuff and I had to go ahead and drive down to MLK and have an extra 7 miles added plus going back another 17 something miles I had to pay for I am very upset because I shouldn't have to pay over the $30 that I paid for mileage I will be contacting customer service on Monday because I am not a happy customer at allCarelys R.

Dolly was never given to me and now im being CHARGED for something i rented and was never provided. I got in the truck and roaches were scattering. I am waiting to hear back from the gas station but I am very upset, this is my first experience renting a uhaul. This is very frustrating & I need to be reimbursed.Nissa S.
Charged me $30 for being late when I just went thru a death while trying to move but they don't care they still charged me all I needed was for 2 hours then I got hit with this horrible death if they could've reimbursed me it would've been a tad better but the truck had debris in itKatya T.
I was told that the truck has is half tank of gas. It only had in quarter tank. I took a picture of it before and another pic when I brought it back. I put in more than what it has ,but I was still charge for it because I did not put it at half tank. That is very unfairelbert B.

How you communicate and what tone of voice somebody use is key for a good customer service and for people wanted to come back to the same place. The attendant was not rude but it was in the mode "I am busy, you want the business or not"ALEXANDER M.
The customer service was poor, the truck was dirty (hadn't been cleaned from the previous renter), I had to sweep out the back before I loaded it, it smelled bad, and the gas light was on because it was on empty. When I approached the customer service representative about the truck being dirty he begrudgingly grabbed a broom and swept it out but only half asses. I sent a picture. I rent Uhaul trucks approximately 100 times a year for my business. This was my first time renting from this location and will be the last.JASON W.

Was told the night before my pick up date that my original pick up location near my home would be changed to a new location - 30 min away from my home. Left with no time to look for another option I accepted. Had to fight to even get my original mileage increased to compensate for that extra drive! Same for the gasâ€¦and when I picked up it was not on Full - but guy says it was. I refilled the tank to the exact mark where I picked up the truck and now I see a $35 fuel surcharge saying it was not returned full! This is really horrible business. I want the $35 refunded immediately.JULIEN L.
