I received a call the day before my pickup to inform me that my rental had to be picked up from a location an hour away and that was the closest. An hour before leaving to pick it up the next day, I received a call telling me they don't have my equipment and they can't get ahold of corporate and don't have time to keep trying to get the issue resolved. I ended up then spending almost 2 hours trying to get ahold of anyone that could tell me where a rental IS available. When I finally was connected to the right person, I was told the rental was now an hour and a half away. I was told I would be credited miles and only have to pay $60 for the time I would have the truck because of the inconvenience. When I picked up my rental, it was a smaller size than what I reserved, and the cab was dirty with crackers under the seats. Also, they did not have the utility dolly I reserved. When I returned the rental, my credit card was charged $91.64. When I attempted to call and dispute the charge, I was placed on hold for almost 30 minutes before I hung up. I still expect my reimbursement and have half a mind to demand a full refund based on the terrible service and awful experience I had. This is the first time using uhaul that I've had a bad experience and will more than likely not be using uhaul again because of it.

It took two calls to customer service and over an hour for us to finally get the keys. The mobile app did not inform us that the keys were in the lock box or provide the lock box code. Then when we were finally able to get the key from the lock box, the key was to a different truck, not the one indicated on the mobile app. That required an additional call to customer service to sort things out. Do better with your mobile app, U-haul.

Uptop towing was great. Uhauls reservations system ruined it for me. I will NEVER use uhaul again. I was called less than 2 days before my move and told there were no 26 ft trucks available. I had to use a 20ft truck and luckily uptop towing had a trailer I could use otherwise I would have been screwed. The original reservation was going to cost under 200.00, the final cost for a smaller truck I didn't want was more after the partial cost of the trailer. That is a very dishonest business model. We dont have what you originally reserved, so we will rent you something that cost more. Absolute bullshit.

We reserved a vav the day before. When I got there, the guy thought I wanted a trailor for dumping trash. They had no van. They put me in a larger truck costing 20cents more per mile to use. THE MOST INCOMPETENT EXPERIENCE EVER. No stars is my recommendation.

No reflection on this U-Haul site but the registration was ridiculous. Two phone no.s three friends phone no’s . Req. 2 phone calls to U-Haul because couldnt input req. info. You send me a text to photo my drivers lic. It would not load. Rep used his phone to complete this step. As this was done , system timed out, deleted all imputed info and required stArting all over. P... pour registration system

I am very upset because I make a reservation in May 17 for June 7 and i call back and they told me they not have that 20 foot truck and I make the reservation 3 weeks after my date very bad service I want to file a report U-Haul in Estes park very bad service

Lot was too crowded with non- Uhaul stuff, as it appears that at least one other business operates there. Very difficult to navigate, even on foot. Personnel said they "would make a note so it could be repaired before it was rented again" when I told them (and then showed them) that the trailer had leaked when it rained and ruined a queen pillow top mattress and box springs. When I asked how to file a claim for my mattress set I was told that if I didn't buy insurance there was nothing to be done. When I pointed out that the insurance I was offered was on the trailer not the contents he just repeated that I could call customer service but nothing would be done. Never again will I rent from U-Haul.

This was my first experience with a u haul rental. I hope I don’t need to rent from you again! I needed a covered truck which you’re van/truck was adequate, poorly maintained the passenger was damaged and wind whistled through the entire trip, the box floor was filthy with dirt and did hair! The truck did my move but it was not a good value for a 67 mile move.

I had a drop receiver and a straight receiver with 2- inch ball. The young man who hooked up the trailer used the drop hitch which caused the nose of the trailer to drop forward. The trailer was not level. I told him we should use the straight receiver but he said it would be alright. The chains were touching the pavement and the trailer tongue was sitting low as the trailer was not level. The employee was not concerned and told me the chains would drag but it would be okay. One of the safety chains was worn through about midway thru Kansas and was not useable for the rest of the trip home. When I returned the trailer the employee stated the trailer could have flipped. He agreed with me that it was not properly installed. I would not recommend renting from this business.

When I went to pick up my truck, the process did not work. It kept saying my location services on my phone was not turned off but it was not. The local employee had to come in to complete process . He was very helpful.

I reserved a 20 ft Truck, Only a 15 was available on pick up day. this was inadequate requiring extra work and travel... The billing was incorrect, and necessitated second visit to the site to get it straightened out. The management otherwise was good to work with.

Everything went wrong with the pickup. Keys not left in drop box. I had to wait 2 1/2 hours for somebody to bring me keys. There was no paperwork. The regional contact was excellent. The cargo area had cat litter on the floor. It hadn't been swept out and there was only half a tank of gas in the vehicle

Up Top is AMAZINGLY wonderful to work with. They take great care of customers whether you are a one-time need or like me, a many-times repeat customer!! They are professional and courteous and always lend a helping hand with their equipment to make sure you are safe and confident with it before leaving their lot. I HIGHLY recommend them!!
