Upon request to return rental truck, representative was dismissive and took phone call (personal?) while I was trying to speak to him. He also continued to ignore my request to ensure all things were squared away with the return rental. He also continued to call me â€œbudâ€ repeatedly which I found to be demeaning. I was very disappointed in the service this representative provided.MICHAEL L.

How about providing the paying customer with a decent U-Haul truck. During the rainstorm on 11/21 in Lancaster SC several of our belongings were ruined due to sitting in water on the truck including a family heirloom piano and 2 mattress sets No truck should be in service if it is not structurally sound prior to rental. No compensation was offered and my money for the rental was taken. It will be the last time we rent through this company and we will be sure to pass the message onto our friends.Patsy J.

I think that it is ridiculous to be charged almost $60 for less that 8 hours of use for a trailer.There should be a deposit made and if you bring it back less than 8-10 good.You will be refunded your deposit. You can atleast get some of your funds back.If not you'll be charged for the full day.HAROLD S.

The only thing I would recommend is giving the employee more knowledge on renting. I'm not sure if it was a misunderstanding, but I was told that it's not possible to tow a front-wheel drive car with a dolly. After expressing why it's very possible and even showed him in his own own brochure, he still said it's impossible. So to avoid everything, I just rented a trailer instead.LORENZO W.

Website does not function properly. Website allowed me to reserve an appliance dolly. No dolly was available at pick up. I was directed to another rental company. Web site reserved 12 blankets which I did not reserve. Personnel were EXCELLENT.david H.

Truck was not at the location we selected online for pickup. Confirmation email indicated location was open at 8:00 AM; didn't open until 9:00 AM. Makes it hard not to want to search for more accurate options.CJ J.

The location that I picked up the equipment was clean and person was professional and polite. However, I had reserved equipment in the town that I live and this location was 20 miles away. Twice I got confirmation that my trailer was reserved, only to find out the morning of that it was not where they said it was. I then had to drive 40 miles round trip (twice!!). A manager was supposed to call me to discuss my displeasure, but go figure, no one called to follow up. Not happy with U-haul...had nothing to do with the location I picked it up.Carl S.
