The two gentlemen at the Fairlawn location were friendly, helpful. Jeff prepared the paperwork and came out and helped hook up the trailer. My gripe is even though I booked the trailer many days in advance, I had to make approx, a 35 mile round trip while on a very close schedule to pick up the trailer after going to the Merrimac location. I received the location change in an untimely manner because it came to my back up cell phone, which I had turned off to allow sleep the night before. The location change is not the first time this has happened to me with U-Haul. There has to be a better way. I have a truck reserved for July 27 at the Merrimac location - I hope you have it there. The trailer itself had a minor leak in the front end that I did not attempt to locate. I drove thru an extensive and heavy rain storm and a small amount of water wet the bottom of 3 cardboard boxes that were on the floor of the trailer at the front of the trailer. No personal damage to contents. I reported this to the person who checked the trailer in at Annapolis.

Maybe the location wasn’t the problem. Uhaul customer service was absolutely horrible. Over charged me, absolutelyterriblr.

The maintenance on the vehicle was very bad. The AC did not work, the brakes squeak, passenger side seat belt didn't work, there was blue tape holding the windshield up.

Drop-off. Closed at the time. Called customer service and discussed how best to handle the drop-off. Everything went well.

I was charged an additional $60 by Uhaul to move the pick-up time up one day and after I received all confirmations Uhaul moved my pick-up location. That does not make good business sense to me. The dealers were fine but the 800 service was not.

The customer service of the gentleman who owns this company was very friendly and helpful but the maintenance of the U-Haul that I actually rented didn't seem up to par. Even though I did complete my move safely. I do believe the headlights having lights and backup lights need to be placed on these vehicles regularly especially on these bigger trucks.

The staff was friendly and very helpful, but the fact that they only open for a few hours on Saturday is inconvenient. In the future I would rather use a gas station since they are open longer. Uhaul didn't inform us we had to be there early like they told everyone else, so we were lucky they were willing to stay and help us after they closed.

I booked online and immediately after putting in my credit card I rec'd a confirmation for a 10 foot truck at the location I requested. I WISH you had warned me that those details might change. Since I was en route the day before getting the truck, I put my husband's phone number in for text confirmation. I would not have done this if I'd known you would make significant changes to my book. He did not realize the text update had moved the pickup location & changed the equipment specified. It was a scramble to drive a half hour down the road, an expensive and inconvenient to handle a 15 foot truck. I'm not happy with the "bait and switch" but I understand these things happen. What I'm REALLY not happy with is that I wasn't warned. I thought my online booking was "good to go" information.
