Customer service was fine the truck it self would sway left to right past 70kmh had to reroute and put more kilometres then I wanted. passenger side, side mirror would not stay where it needed it was pretty much point less when I moved the mirror to where it needs to be it won’t lock and walk over itself to somewhere point less

The staff at the location when I was picking up the vehicle were so unorganized - there was nothing going on but the check in process took so long. The vehicle had dirt in the back of it as i assume the previous renters had soil and looked like they were moving plants - the truck was not swept out. there was garbage in the cab as well.. i did not clean it out on behalf of the company - i did take my own trash. otherwise the vehicle was fine.

Only issue was the washer fluid light light was on and the tire pressure appeared low based on the notifications I was getting. When I got home I had to add air to the tires. I would have expected these items would be dealt with before taking the vehicle.

The screen showed the right rear tire was low on air. I was charged for insurance and my credit card covers insurance and I am waiting for a refund. Nobody spoke to me about insurance when I picked up the van

Originally booked online and received confirmation to pick up at this location. On arrival the location had no record of my booking. I showed the rep and she was confused why my order did not appear but was very accommodating to provide a vehicle. Great service at location ONLY!

Location as a pick up point was great. The staff were friendly and helpful but they did not represent uhaul. The quality and cleanliness of the vehicle was disappointing. Furthermore, we had reserved a dolly and moving blankets which were not provided. Made the move much more difficult and longer than needed. Will not use uhaul next time.

They charged me for 108 miles instead of my used 47 miles. When I contacted customer service she was not professional and told me that they cant return the extra tax they took from me.

I used the UHaul app to return the trailer after hours, however it would not let me continue after I entered that a repair was required for the trailer lighting system, so I had to check the circle that said No repair needed to continue. Three out of 4 of the trailer clearance lights were not functioning.

Make sure the van is in the best condition possible. The wheel was very unaligned, the cup holders were dirty and the engine light was on. Overall it did the job but for the price I would like a truck that doesn't have issues

Dear Uhaul people , 2 times you confirm and promise me , moving blankets and dolly will be in truck !! They were not there !!! I have damaged a lot of items in truck due to your negligence . I will be calling you soon to request full refund . Will NEVER use uhaul again !!!

Just a comment….U Haul should have informed or advised with regards to connector of trailer to SUV….the U Haul trailer had a 4 pin connector, but the SUV had a 7 pin connector….this should have been reviewed and provided as part of the rental….we had to scramble to get an adapter so that the trailer could be driven safely

Van was filthy and dirty, garbage was left over from other renters. Van had a horrible smell and the engine light was on. Pretty disgusted after renting this van would not rent again

I would like a call from UHaul head office vs location as this location was OK in service and was thrust into a recovery based on the original booking location whom failed terribly and should not represent UHaul at all!!! The staff at the Bolton uHaul seemed to have no information at all on our rental, were unable to answer questions, were not helpful and just had a general lack of knowledge. We did not want to pick up or return our trailer here but this is where uHaul sent us due to lack of availability in the GTA.

They were not knowledgeable when it came to trailer rentals . The trailer had No Tongue Jack and I had to load it on my truck by myself. They also didn’t have a 7 to 4 pin wiring harness adapter. It’s my understanding that they are use to dealing with Vans and it was obvious

The staff doesn’t know how to operate the system when checking in a client. Everyone has an attitude If you ask them a question and the staff is not helpful at all.

It took me over an hour to get my van. I had no confidence that they knew what they were doing....then, when I finally got the keys I went back in to report that the mileage in the van was higher than on my contract there was another delay.... I was finally told not to worry about the mileage as they were giving me "unlimited kilometers'. Of course when I got my bill I was paid not only for the kilometers that I did but also for the previous rider's mileage. The van also had an engine light on so I wasn't sure if it was going to stall on me as I drove it.

The van was not full of gas…I better not get charged for that. The low tire air pressure was flashing on the dash, and even though I added air,mit kept flashing Then the engine light came on, and I don’t know why. I will be very angry if I get charged for more gas, or if there is a problem with the tire. NOT MY FAULT

This isn’t an actual uhaul building, it’s through home hardware. The people have no idea about anything to do with the uhaul rentals and cannot help at all. Customer service took forever, I had to wait on hour just to ensure the rental was confirmed returned

The staff was excellent but both myself abs the clerk there had lots of problems checking in. Took way too long because the computers were so slow. Very frustrating. The van was neat, but the person who returned car did not notify anybody that it was returned so not happy that nothing inside was dissenfected. Definitely get a better/faster system to check in cars. Should not take half an hour.

It was very difficult to locate the lockbox!i phoned customer service two times, they had no idea where the lockbox was located. I circled the parking lot near the lumber yard 3 times and then searched the area the home hardware. Picture of the location of where the lockbox is located would have helped. Instructions stating that the lockbox was at the entrance of the homehardware would have been very useful!

The U-Haul app does not function well on Android. Pages get stuck on or blocked. Had to use wife's iPhone to check van out and in. Bit of a hassle otherwise good experience

Crappy experience. The app made me go inside the home hardware store to get the keys instead of giving me the key code to take the keys myself (I had chosen mobile checkin). The guys at the store had no clue whatsoever. Eventually they gave me the code on a piece if paper. I went and opened the key locks and but there were no keys in either boxes. Had to go back inside and ask the guys. The. Only another guy went to get the keys from the other “return box”. Good waste of time and poor experience.

I had difficulty with the app as it didn't do the live verification. I had to loggin on the internet to make it work. It delayed my pick up by 45 minutes that was frustrating

Oil engine light was on, couldn’t tell how many miles you traveled. Self-serve took us an hour to get the vehicle off the lot. We finally went in the store snd the manager helped us, she was great. I would never go to a self serve location again. We did everything online and we couldn’t get the combination to get the key. We wasted an hour of valuable moving time.

I had issues with the mobile app. I have an Android and the pictures required would not take slowing down the check in and return process. I had to use my wife's iPhone. However the customer service walked me through it and they were very helpful and patient.

dolly should be put on vehicle when rented - mine was not interior of the cab had scent of cigarette - I'm an ex-smoker and sensitive to this smell in particular I'm not sure that I can recommend U-Haul - the customer service where I picked up the vehicle was exceptional; however, U-Haul does not allow its rental partners the opportunity to make decisions to make the rental experience exceptional. One recommendation would be to simplify the whole rental process in favour of the customer and the customer-facing dealer.
