You should be up front about the costs of renting. This rental was DOUBLE what was quoted when I booked online, and you do not disclose any of the extra fees until you send the receipt for transaction. The rental experience itself was good, but the charges are so sneaky it most definitely taints the overall experience and I'm not sure I'd use you again.Adam H.

It was a packing store, a bit on the dirty side. Magnificent Movers were terrible. arrived an hour late, smelled of marijuana and were very slow.Ken C.

This location, Unique Packaging and Shipping in Westminster, is the best! I rented from them twice in 2 months and each time there was zero issues picking the truck up and dropping it off. The lock box took us 15 minutes to open because it is not a well synchronized luck combinations. The truck had less than 1/8 of a tank of gasoline in it. One of the tires on the truck needed air desperately. The warning lights on the dashboard prevented me from finding out the initial odometer reading as it warned me about the low air pressure in the tire, as well as the fact that the truck needed the oil to be changed.noah B.
Moving in general is overwhelming enough, what makes it less hectic is when your U-Haul reservation has zero problems and goes smoothly. That's what I experienced with this store. Great friendly people, picking the truck up and returning it was super easy, which I appreciate. I will recommend this store to all of my friends who have moves coming up. The automated check out is still a little buggy. However, this is my third time renting a U-Haul this year and it is getting better little by little. This is the first time that checking in via remote has worked. It seems odd that checking in takes you out of the app and into a normal browser session though when checking out does not.James M.

The location was changed without notifying me the day before pick up. I had to drive 20 miles out of the way (1 way) to get the truck. The owner of the location calls me and says there is a chance that when I get there in the morning that someone might have stolen all of the gas out of the truck. This is crazy to call a customer to tell them this!! The truck came with 1/4 off a tank of gas so before loading I was forced to fill it up. Ive never rented equipment and had the company be confident in giving me the equipment with almost no gas in it. He tells me this is a U-Haul policy. That's an awful policy. People paying hundreds to rent a truck should not have to wonder weather it will have even a little gas in it. Then this owner asked me multiple times and told me he'd pay me to bring the truck back to him. I had a one way rental for a reason. The door of the truck required about 75 pounds of oil to open and close it was so badly maintained. This was miserable experience!Sam S.

I ordered truck from Boulder location but ended up with Westminster location. Didn't know of switch until day before. Spoke with a rep at Boulder day before after found out about the switch. Rep was very unhelpful and just kept asking me if I wanted to cancel. I said why would I cancel if I needed the truck . Guy was kind of a jerk . Went to Westminster location and picked up via smart phone . Pain in the ass . Would have preferred to deal with live rep . Good news is that drop off in Denver (Conoco gas station was great). Overall not a good experience though.Bob B.

The customer service agent that 'helped' me get access to the uhaul did a bad job. Uhaul needs to inform their clients that they need all this additional information BEFORE we drive to the location. I was standing outside for over 20 minutes trying to get access to the truck and the customer service agent gave up on me and told me to go inside and ended the chat on me. It was a huge waste of my time, and I did not feel safe in that area where homeless people are walking around staring me down. I will not be using uhaul again. This should have been so simple as I literally drove it less than 10 miles to get a couch and it took longer to get the truck than anything else. Very disappointing.Emily R.

Very vague instructions once we arrived to the site. The actual front desk was not well marked and took me almost a half hour to get through the checkin process and get the truck. Therefore I was a half hour late to return the truck. Not a good experience at allGrace P.

For returns; allow the same alternative to location services as you do for pickup. Due to unclear reason(s); uhaul was unable to determine my phone's location. Fortunately, you alllowed me an alternative; a photo of the bar code above the lock box. This alternative does NOT exist for returns. I created an account days before pick up. ALL necessary information should be entered here. However, at pickup; I was forced to provide two (2) contacts, or passport or company number or lease agreement. This is inconsiderate; one of my contacts was flying that day, I do not carry a passport during furniture moving, my company is not available for contact on a weekend and certainly won't reply in the timely manner you required, and a â€œleaseâ€ agreement was not even defined (is my uhaul rental a lease?) OTOH, I've used you before (not weekend phone, though) and will probably use you again. The issues are procedural and not structural!William V.

I will never use Uhaul again. The supplier of the truck was great. The call center, chat support all other functions that I would say are controlled by the actually company....were trash. Absolute trash. Terrible interactions, poor information, senidng me 30 mins further when I ID a truck 10 mins away. Its horrific how bad the experience was. I am from a military family and I move alot andby this experience alone you have lost my business for life. Deactivate my Uhaul account, scrub all my data and go fly a kite.Cortland C.
