Find another store owner with time to serve the U-Haul customers - not be errogant because he has a perspective glass buyer in the store while you are on the phone with him. Or, to be told to Wait while you listen to numerous messages over and over never for him to even ever get back to you. He was short tempered & rude when I asked the cost of a truck to drive to Kingston, Nova Scotiaâ€¦I paid for the 15' truck - however, my daughter had her license as I am 73 and never driven. When she checked on the location for the truck to be picked up on her way from the airport in Ottawa to my placeâ€¦the Uniglass manager was rude - when she went to actually pick up the truck for her and I to load, he was equally rude, handed her the keys, didn't point out where it was. We never had throw covers included or even offered to buyâ€¦I say to you "Get another person to look after your orders or you will definitely loose future customers!"! Also, after 6 straight hours of driving to our destination with another 9 hours to complete we stopped at an Holiday In for the evening when we awoke, it was raining which it did until we were arrived at our final destination on April 1, 2023. When her husband her and myself unloaded my one bedroom apartment my love seat was drenched, my 8'x12' black shag carpet, the bottom of 4 of my large boxes containing my clothing, my wooden kitchen table were all soaking wet and they were completely ruined ruined thank God most of my other items were in plastic containers!! My daughter Michelle dropped the U-Haul truck off here to Main Street, in Nova Scotia on April 3, 2023 without mentioning that the truck leaked water from the roof for most of the 19 hour trip unlike what I, her mother might have done! The floor of the truck when it was emptied was completely flooded. As well, they charged her with sone more taxes thinking she took a longer way here via a Ferryâ€¦ do you people I quire matters before just charging people for services they Never used or needed!? I for one will be enlarging and taking screen shots of everything I have just messaged you and, if there is no reimbursements for the damages or extra costs incurred without reason I will be Posting this letter on Social Media & to my many friends who will send it to their many friends etc., etc., you get the point!â€¦ I now have to buy a new wooden kitchen table, love seat, carpet and clothing thanks to your leaking truckâ€¦ You have 1 week to reply - it's now April 9th, 2023â€¦MICHELLE E.

Representative told me I had to put the moving blankets back into the thin plastic wrap that I had got them in when I rented them to return them. The location I rented them from didn't tell me this in advance, so it was difficult for me to put them back in the bag, since I didn't have them folded well enough to do this when I went to return everything, and I'm also lucky I kept the plastic wrap, as it really doesn't seem reusable at all, so that was a weird request I thought. However I did do it since I was told I had to, which took me more time during my return process due to having to refold.Brandon L.

Make sure that the gas tank is full. I drove 16 miles and I had to put $28. of gas in the tank. I don't think the gas tank was full. A more appropriate amount would have been less than $10???Robert J.
I returned the truck same day late night. So it's closed and next day morning I called the bank and informed the agent, he told me not yet checked once finished let me know and cut the call. After 10' clock I received the final invoice email and once I checked the link they charged me almost 12 CAD for shortage of petrol. But I returned the same level and once I took both pictures from before and after with me and share the same pictures to the email. After that they will refund the amount and if no one claimed it will not come back . So I need to wait for this amount for next 3 to 5 days back to my account. So I am a google guide and I will share my experience with you to public to caution from others not getting trouble atleast.adarsh S.

The dolly trailer was clean. But one fender and tail light was duct taped. Additionally, one ratchet to tighten the towed vehicle wheel on the dolly was broken. Everything else on the trailer was working properly.Raynald L.

Pickup hours on Saturday appear to be until noon and they are not open on Sunday. Despite reserving a utility dolly and furniture dolly they were not with the truck nor available from this location. I am unsure where the reservation was dropped as U-Haul customer service agent was not much help. I ended up asking a former U-Haul employee to reach out to reserve from another location so that I could be assured that the "holding" part of reserving the equipment would be done. How to improve: 1. "hold" reserved equipment 2. Quit trying to get customers tow U-Haul equipment. First under the sneaky guise like you are giving them something then offering a monetary compensation that doesn't come close to covering the additional fuel, time and burden.Jennifer M.
The person who helped me was very friendly. When I got there he was dealing with a customer who was a little "high maintenance" and he delt with them very well and showed a ton of patience.patrick C.

Learn how to read a fuel gauge properly. Attempted to tell me the 7/8 mark is only 3/4. Thanks for ripping me off. If your interested, I have pictures. very poor customer service and will never return to that location due to being over charged in services i even took the rental to the carwash to be fully cleaned and filled the tank and yet still got over charged for the three day rental if you do the math correct 166 deposit when returned another 130 plus my 75 in gas and another 30 for the wash seems like they have no respect for the customers and the truck was dirty inside and out and did have damages already on it when i arrived for pick up .also i lost out on have a day due to poor customer service due to misunderstandings so again i will never return to this location or send anyone to them .mary R.

The location forgot to put in the equipment requested. That dolly was key to my move as I did most of the move by myself (38yr old woman) Getting in touch with U-Haul was impossible. When I called the location the next morning to advise I was falling incredibly behind due to him forgetting my equipment... He just shrugged it off and said oops that's my fault. If you're going to allow people to pick up after closing hours, insuring the equipment they requested is literally half the job! Complete fail. I was exhausted and frustrated my entire move. I am still recovering. PLUS I did scratch some furniture as I had packed away all my blankets because I ordered half dozen blankets that also didn't make it into the truck.Kerri-Lynn W.
Lots of issues with uhaul not being able to release the truck for 3 hours before I was able to get it. Even though it was sitting right there. Customer service was terrible help even the manager from customer service was no help. Made my day extra stressful due to this. I will never recommend uhaul services to anybody. Friendly helpful staff that were prepared to rearrange the hire at short notice when the online order form didn't really match what was required. The vehicle was clean both inside and out, used an anticipated ammount of petrol (an important consideration for the current price) and maintained an easy pace that didn't hold up traffic.John B.
We received many phone calls from U-Haul stating that our request was not possible after we booked the time on-line. Moving is a very stressful deal and receiving calls like that only added more stress to our lives. Thank goodness for the service and help from U-Haul at 453 Second St W, Cornwall, ON K6J1H3. They made a big difference in easing our stress and were very helpful!Danick L.

Despite repeated calls I have still not received my rental receipt for this rental. In fact, the customer rep just HUNG UP on me for inquiring! And said he will not adjust the estimated km charge down "if it's only off by 1 km." I want IMMEDIATE RESPONSE on this. I want my rental receipt and with the correct billed amount. I needed the truck for a day and 1/2. When I picked up the truck it was dirty, both inside and out. I noted this when I returned the vehicle using the app and I was charged a $25 cleaning fee. I noted on the app that I shouldn't be charged this cleaning fee and now, 1 month after renting the truck I receive the final invoice and U-Haul has charged me the cleaning fee. Outrageous!!! I have used U-Haul for many years moving my belongings across the country and charge will make me think about using the other guys going forward.David D.
