My entire experience was horrible this time. Online checkin was a mess. I checked in and got to the stage to open the key box and when I did my key wasn’t there. Then I saw the truck I reserved taken by another client. I then called and Juan was amazing but it still took around 30mins to get me a different truck. Then I ended up only doing 2 miles with the truck and I ended up being billed $162 instead of about $45. I believe I got charged for gas overage and kilometers done by the people that took my original truck. This is painful and frustrating and needs to be corrected. I have sent the I fo on the website and will call the call centre today. But this has been an awful experience.

We usually have a very good experience at this U-Haul. This time, it was an awful experience. We arrived at 09h50 for our 10h00 reservation. We only left with the truck at 11h15. That's 1-1/2 hours. I cannot overemphasize that the young woman agent is not at all to blame. She was alone to do absolutely everything. There was a technical problem with the system. There were 5 clients to deal with. Our truck was buried behind other trucks. She had to move the trucks, handle the clients, answer the telephones. We didn't know what to do, as usually the truck is brought forward to us ready for departure. We rented a dozen blankets which usually are already in the back of the truck. We ended up carrying them back and forth across the lot as the situation developed. There was also a mix-up about the keys. It was entirely a terrible and unsatisfactory rental experience. The young woman had no business being left alone to handle an entire U-Haul dealership. I felt sorry for her. I trust that this won't happen again.

The service is good once you're being served, but the waiting time, especially on a weekend, is absolutely ridiculous!! And the employees also agree! They should hire more people (for the weekend).

I rented a truck from U-Haul sur Jean-Talon pour le demenagement et lentreposage which locates in 3850 Jean-Talon Ouest Montreal, QC H3R2G8. I had some questions after I returned back. I called the agent in this branch and she put me 30 minutes on hold, after, she told me she is busy and she will talk to me soon. After 5 hours, I called her again and she put me another 30 minutes on hold because she was busy. when she became available she told me that she can not talk to me because she is busy. moreover, she told me she will not answer my questions even i come to see her in person. U-haul fournit un numéro de téléphone pour le drop-off. Malgré ma demande pour un service en français, le menu est en anglais. Le menu est compliqué et le son est faible. Après avoir fait le « zéro » suite à une navigation laborieuse, je dois m’adresser à une employée en anglais. Encore une fois, le son est très faible et complique l’obtention de l’adresse du drop-off. Par contre, la transaction se termine efficacement aux bureaux de U-haul. Encore une fois, le service est impeccable.

Rats destroyed my possessions. There were no rat traps. The halls were dark, lights taken out. Some staff were very good, but the manager at 3850 Jean Talon O., Montreal, was unprofessional.
