We were told the trailer would accommodate a 62" clearance for a motorcycle haul. After pickup we measured and realized there were brace bars that would block the needed clearance. We returned the trailer within one hour but were told there was no refund. We are very disappointed. We were lied to by the salesperson. Also, the girl at the front desk swears like a sailor. You need to pull her out of customer service. She swore at three different people while we were there.

Managing your staff and equipment ,,had a shitty experience lost time and money on the process .had an appointment at nine which I used u-haul before in the past we connect my pickup truck and everything but lights on trailer were not working I got turned away staff saying it was my truck ?? Fukun expert right bs (on my only day of I thought I had it planned) so I leave I go to go get my viechle inspected electrician my truck comes back good correct I go back to u-haul (because I need to get shit done) I go look at the same trailer and I spotted torn rip wires wtf ,,I told the guy running the place ps I should had gotten pay for that putting your staff on point ,,no bueno but regardless got things figured out and lost time and money...

I rented a car trailer and when i tried to help hook the car trailer up the girl insisted she do it so i figured she knew what she was doing and i trusted that she did it right...but once i got 6 hours away i seen there was no tail lights so that means i just ran 6 hours with no tail lights and by the grace of god made it there without getting a ticket ....i fixed it and it took extra time but i got the tail lights working but my advice is whoever hooks up the tail lights make sure all of them work please itll save us in the long run....thank u

Your university drop off location is very sketchy. We had to drop trailer off at around 11:00PM, not an ideal area at that time of night, or probably anytime. Otherwise, it was great service as usual.

Get a better person at the counter. She wasn't paying attention to us her customers and not listening. We said no on the insurance and she still charges over $100 for insurance still trying to get that taken care of. Instead of having things ready we had to take the hand truck to the truck which we shouldn't have had to do that and the pad should have been in the truck ready to go the pads had to come out late too. There needs to be a more responsible person out there helping people, she looked like she might be early twenties and didn't really know what she was doing. Never had that kind of service at U-Haul before and you've used it about 25 times.

This locations customer service, is awful. The manger of this district needs to come in here and figure the employees out here. The young girl who helped me was genuine at first but at some point was rude due to the fact I needed to think of a good pick up time for the vehicle I wanted to rent. I asked to be shown the different sizes of trucks. We walked outside and by the second truck she just pointed at it for me to go by myself while the manger of the store was scolding her for some radio mis hap. The way he was talking was not professional at all. Rude to her in front of a customer and was just being unnecessary. Unfortunately the set up of that the workers have make them seem lost. I could be wrong but that is what I saw. On GOD I never complain this much but I was so taken back by both locations of the poor quality I had with U-haul I had to put my frustration somewhere. I also work in customer service and it's truly not hard to politely treat your workers and your customers with respect and kindness. Unfortunately I will be a returning customer because I'll probably move again in the near future. I definitely won't be back at those locations. Gracias.

The size trailer I wanted wasn't available, so had to get one much bigger than I needed at a higher cost. I shouldn't have to pay more for a trailer I didn't want in the first place. Also, the App is very hard to use. Several areas don't work and you can't update the password.

Quick and efficient- I will say though, if I was a first time truck renter, I'd be rather confused. None of the paper work was explained, nor was the coverage options. Was not shown (or told) where the truck was on the lot- once I found it, (around the back) - my husband asked “how do you know it's the right truck?” Because the key tag matches the number on the top of the truck. I used to run a neighborhood dealership- so at least I knew what was going on- but as stated- if I didn't know the routine, I'd never rent again. Severely lacking quality and respectable customer service. CSRs can use more training on customer service, how to go over paperwork, how to walk someone out the door, and at least point in a direction of where your rental equipment is. When I worked with Uhaul, we were trained to go out with the customer, verify fuel and miles on the truck, and go over damages- guess that went out the door...? If I was handling customer service that way- I would've been coached by my AFM. Good luck. Stick with the neighborhood dealerships, instead of the big centers. At least there you will get a smile and a “thank you”.

Everything was easy and great, clean, the truck was easy to drive and a real workhorse. The only thing that could be fixed is... I originally reserved the truck and some packing materials at one location. I received a call saying that I had to get the truck at a 2nd location as the one I had chosen did not have a 2' truck. When I went to pick up my materials and the truck, I was told that I still had to get the matierals at the first location I had chosen, which was a pain. And when I got there, they had not packed them up nor were the staff even aware of the order. They packed it up quickly though.

You could prorate the rentals. I did not need the truck for a full extra day. I returned the same night as it was supposed to be however it was much later in the day. I was charged for a full day. I also only drove the truck 25 miles and it took over 10 gallons to fill it. There is something wrong with that!

They called me after I returned the truck, after hours, wanting to know if I was going to return the truck. When I rented the truck, it seemed the person checking out the truck expected me to know the process and was somewhat abrupt with me, almost rude.

Pickup agent was really helpful. What should be mentioned when you pickup a U-Haul is that they get 3.5 miles a gallon. This would help folks understand a bit better to prepare at return. I understand the high fuel cost to gas up if not brought back same as it left. But I drove 29 miles and was charged for 8.3 gals. Seems to me your trucks need some work if they get that kind of mileage. Also - I submitted a claim and got a call back from mgr. when I wasn't able to return the call the same day - I received a fairly snarky email in response. She referred to the comment I made to the guy at return that I was ‘too tired to leave and gas up'. As I had just had to leave my home in less than 2 hours due to a domestic violence situation, yes I was tired. I've used U-Haul many times in my life and this is the first time I feel that you failed at customer service.

I reserved a self-serve pick up for a moving truck online. When I tried to pick up the truck, I received an error message saying that I needed to go talk to the front desk which defeated the purpose of the self serve pick up. When I went inside, no one was in there and I had to wait for help (while a I had family waiting outside to help me empty my storage unit). The woman at the counter gave me attitude and was rude and said that they switched my truck and tried to call me and left me a message. I checked my phone and said I saw a missed call from an unknown number but I did not receive a voicemail. She said your voicemail was full. However my voicemail was not full. She said well you need to wait for us to get another truck ready for you. I said I already signed into the truck I originally had reserved. She got upset and said well now I have to give you that truck because you signed into it, and handed me the key. The dolly I ordered was not inside(she brought me one). This is the second time that I have had a bad encounter with this woman as she couldn't find my storage reservation a few months prior when I had moved my stuff to storage. They forgot the extra equipment I had ordered, and never once said sorry...just chewed out her husband (or whom ever the gentleman was she was working with who she treated like a husband). This place is bad business. Moving is stressful enough, the employees at U-Hual shouldn't make it more difficult. My items were also very weathered after being in the storage unit after only a couple of months, and there was a layer of dust/dirt/ash all over my things. I also don't think they should get away with charging a full month of storage when we moved out on the 6th of the month. That is terrible!!

Wasn't a bad experience but wasn't the best. Equipment wise was great everything was in top notch state, coming to customer service, I was told be back by 5pm and I would have help returning the vehicle. I pull in at exactly 5 pm and I see a person peek out the window and just shut the lights off. I honestly felt like I was being avoided. I know they closed at 5 but the lady said I would be good to go. All in all, Great vehicles, Average-subpar customer service.

The fuel sensor was wrong, the moment it got to 1/4 tank it started to act like it was out of fuel, and it was. I barely made it to a gas station and it was sputtering and cutting out when the low fuel light came on.

Don't let customers book items you can't provide when using the app. Booked a 20' truck, received a call at 5pm the 15hrs before my reservation that a 20' wasn't available and only had 17'. Then when I get there, the furniture cart wasn't available even though it was on my reservation. The rep told me just to let them know when I returned the truck that they didn't have the furniture cart available so I could be refunded my $7.

The General Manager Nxxk is an absolute embarrassment to the U-haul name. I can't believe they employ such an A-hole who thinks he is better than everyone cause he is the general manager. Nxxk is also a liar and won't admit to his mistakes. Before he was there U-haul was 100% the best in town. Now with employees like him i would rather sell all my stuff instead of dealing with him ever again. So sad U-haul has given a title to a non-deserving lieing no good person. My brother also rented a truck and before i told him my issues he stated did you deal with a big guy that is the general manager Nxxk? I said yes why? He said that guy is a real a-hole. So that tells you his charecter. I will never use U-haul again as long as they have that guy around and makesure everyone i know doesn't either.

Dont move out of the storage unit early. They dont prorate. Lost over $60.00 because of not knowing this. Also, the staff is very lacking and with only one person working, he was rude!!!

The checkout was easy and quick. Access was convenient . The only issue we had was how icy it was to access our inside unit. Otherwise loved the cover over the access doors.

Very, Very clean, I swear they wax their floors. No odors and we found no signs of critters. They even offer carts to haul all your boxes in with. I would definitely use this facility again!!!

My entire storage was stolen, uhall allowed some one to move out my entire storage unit and all of the contance and a u hall was rented in my name. Everything I own is gone

My only complaint is the access hours. 7pm is too early. 9pm would be very convenient. Having an employee on the grounds looking at cameras or whatever til 9 ! It would be a selling point. ¡Gracias!

The General manager was wonderful but all the people he had working for him are either rude not friendly and don't need to be in contact with customers. Gives this location a bad name.
