Overall good experience. Have had a lot of interaction with Uhaul the last 4 months and the main problem I experienced was in communication. A lot of time waiting on hold for a operator. Most of them were great, especially Isaiah. Would be great to have direct lines to local offices. This could stop problems like those I had with the Wichita Falls location.BRIAN B.

The Uhaul truck needed front end work. The carrier bearing was also worn out and it vibrated extremely bad the entire trip from Idaho to Texas. It was horrible. The back tires were worn out and we had to call and get them replaced in Billings Montana because they were unsafe to drive on. I ended up staying awake until 3 am to get them replaced at the hotel parking lot. I was so glad to get to Texas and turn that Uhaul back in. The first day of driving it vibrated so bad my eyes started watering and I could barely see. It was such a horrible experience.COREY S.
It was too many furniture pads. And while our stuff arrived in the time guaranteed, it really seemed a ridiculously long wait. The boxes left my Spokane house on 9/26, and did not arrive at my AZ house until 10/17. That's a really long time to go without any furniture, and only a little camping equipment. My back is killing me from the inflatable mattress. And further, I was told our boxes would be delivered between noon and 2pm on the 17th. But it was well after 3pm. I had to take the day off special To be able to help unload. Lost almost an entire day because of the very late arrival. Came away with injuries from having to rush to empty the boxes, and lost more work just to recover from it. Overall, I'm not that happy. Our stuff arrived intact because I'm awesome at packing and loading. I would not recommend this option for moving to anyone.KATHRYN W.

I have used Uhaul so many times in my life, this is the WORST experience I have ever had. 1st the attendant at time of pickup was a bit rude. Normally the truck is brought up and a damage walk around is done. I had to go to the back lot to get the truck myself, and charges were not explained. He did not verify the gas or mileage. Threw the dolly in and just walked away. I have used the location on 14000 block of East Sprague and they always go above and beyond customer service. 2nd the in town price is $19.95 and advertised on the truck but it cost me $165 ??? I did go over 25 miles on mileage, had dropped off with more gas in then what I started with. There is definitely false advertising, and is sad to see Uhaul resorting to this, it's really a shame. Now Covid can not be used as an excuse as I moved with Uhaul from Oregon to Spokane Washington in April 2020 renting twice for two in town moves and was not charged as much as this experience. Will I use Uhaul again â€œyesâ€ but I will go an extra two miles to get excellent customer service and will never use this location again.Karen R.
Storage was fine, but had a real problem with renting a vehicle. Booked about 3 weeks in advance; rechecked 2 days before pick-up and was confirmed; then the day before scheduling moved my 3 week old reservation to miles away which I could not manage. This experience was pretty good. We didn't have a lot of stuff, so the U-Box concept was ideal. I believe the fiberglass container was superior to the plywood container, so that was another plus.William M.

Left the facility and took a picture of the gas gauge, returned the vehicle with the same (just above 3/4 of a tank) gas, and the returning agent argued with me about it not being full enough because he had marked down 7/8 on the sheet, but wouldn't listen to me that I had picture proof and was charged an additional fee.DEREK H.

Delivery of Uboxes is BEYOND bad. Uhaul failed to deliver my items TWICE when agreeing on dates, uhaul just doesnt show up. When they finally showed up, they brought only 6 out of 9 boxes and I had to go pick up the rest myself. They stated they called me and I didn't confirm the reservation so they just cancel my appointment - THEY NEVER CALLED. I'm tired of Uhaul's lies, this company is a hot trash dumpster fire and deserves to go bankrupt for how poorly they operate and blame their customers for their own mess.CHRISTOPHER H.

There is so much unnecessary paperwork and completing the rental the pertinent information gets lost. In my case the return date and time we're not what I had reserved and I failed to notice that and had to return the trailer early because it had already been rented to somebody else. The UHaul rental experience is lacking. Compared to renting a car, the pick up and return process is cumbersome and slow. You act like you have a monopoly on trailer rentals (you may) and that customers just have to wait. Time to upgrade. When I arrived to drop off my truck I was asked how the scratches got on this truck. When I replied I don't know was there when I picked it up. I was told no they weren't and the tech nows all the trucks on this lot. With a little digging on the techs end he realized he was wrong. I have not ever worked with a worse company. I had to spend countless hours on hold trying to get our uboxes moved from Seattle to Spokane. When I finally had DELIVERY confirmed, I called the day before and found out we were signed up to unload our boxes not have them delivered. My husband had to make 3 trips to pick up the boxes or we would have had to wait 2 more weeks for delivery. There was no attempt to make it right or any apology from uhaul. The only good thing about the experience is that it is over and I will NEVER work with this company again. Only issue we ran into was accessing the unit through a door other than the loading bays. There are no specific instructions at those doors as to how to what you need to enter to gain access using them. When we moved out the loading bays were full and we had to maneuver around another customers items in order to exit the bay door with ours. I went to the location my reservation told me to go to, and they told me to go to a different location. Once I arrived, there was only one person doing everything. So I waited over an hour in line for him to tell me the truck on my reservation had forgotten to be put "out of service" que. So I had to go to a 3rd location to pick up my truck. The evening before we were scheduled to pick up the truck, the first location called to inform us they did not have the truck we reserved or any truck of similar size. We picked up the truck at this new location, but they did not include the box dolly that we had reserved and paid for ahead of time. Online checkout for pick up was extremely slow. Took 20 minutes during which the uhaul onsite staff told me I could have just checked out at the desk within minutes. Online checkout is convenient for when the store is closed or when the store is busy, but it should be better communicated that it's not as fast as an in person checkout during normal hours.Benjamin C.

When I made a reservation for my storage I was never told anything very bad communication and it made my day bad!’I tried calling the number 509 922 4465 that’s what they told me to call if anymore questions!! Well I tried calling 3 times and each time was on hold for over a hour so I never got to ask my questions!! So I wanted to know if a king size mattress would fit in a 10ft truck and the cost and few other things!!I ended up getting a 15ft truck and had to drive all the way to the valley!! All huge access doors were broken and made unhauling very inconvenient. There was only one man operating the front when a huge line of help was needed. My paid for movers (mind you hired through your uhaul services) had to wait 30 mins to do their job that I paid them to do because of the inconvenience of all the large doors being closed off.. When I needed assistance with the doors I was unable to receive help as there was a 30 min wait to get assistance from the 1 man doing everything by himself. Then when asked if he could open up the larger automatic door he left snd never came back. I lost out of 30 mins I paid my movers for due to trying to figure out how I was going to haul things inside with 3 other large trucks trying to haul at the same time as us.Tori S. | First Impressions
