Everything was great. Maybe not put so many moving blankets in the boxes. There were way too many and just in the way. Only other thing I would say needs improving is when calling, we the customer is on hold for at least an hour EVERY time I had to call. Very frustrating. Other than that I was extremely happy with all your service. Angelica at the store location is amazing, on top of everything. I loved that Uhaul always called me the day before any scheduled pick up or drop off (we had several dates for more boxes) . I love love love Pamela, the delivery person. She is friendly and professional and amazing on that forklift. Very precise and quick! She had to drop off 7 of our boxes to our new home and I was not home. She figured out how to arrange 7 boxes on our half round driveway. I was so impressed and it made things so much easier for us and less stress. The fact that I couldn't be at the new home had me stressed out thinking boxes wouldn't be positioned correctly and we might have difficulty unpacking. But we didn't have any problems because she did a great job. This was the first time using uhaul boxes, it was the easiest way to move. IF e we ever move again we will definitely use Uhaul boxes again. I highly recommend! Thanks everyone at UhaulKim L.

There was confusion regarding the long term storage at the North Richland Hills Facility for 6 UBoxes. I received a call 10/06/21 to clarify from the Lewiston TX Facility and I advised 1 unloaded by self, and 6 stay in storage 3-6 months. Sunday, Oct. 10,2021 I received a call from Lewisville TX facility from a frustrated associate that I'm not answering my calls from UHaul. I had not received any texts, calls, nor emails regarding this issue. I instructed once again that 6 boxes are to be stored and 1 box we unloaded 10/8/2021 and returned to the North Richland Hills facility. The attitude of the associate is my concern. The website is difficult to navigate, glitchy, and confusing. Total lack of transparency on the customer's end. Whenever I tried to reach someone to discuss my order it took about 45 minutes and 3-4 different people redirecting my call to finally get the right person on the line.Paul D.
My whole experience was riddled with poor service and support. I did not feel that my belongings were safe and did not feel that the safe staff cared about providing a good service. The most stressing park of my move was absolutely having to deal with U-Haul constant blunders and having to take time from work to call customer service and wait long periods just to correct mistake made by U-Haul. Never using U-Haul ubox again. During my last order I had my order canceled 4 times, called customer service about 30 times, fear for my belongings, was told I was going to get a reduced price because of the mistakes that happens and got nothing, was overcharged for a month rent after in confirmed with managers that i want to no longer use U-Haul, received a box with the lock hinge blown off, etcâ€¦ I'd rather carry my belongings on my back and walks cross country then using U-Haul horrible service for free. He went over and beyond to identify and fix a â€˜manufacture induced' error with my tail light extender kit. I have had previous â€˜not-so-great' experience at other UHaul outlets, but the people at this location ensure you have a great customer experience. I rented a 5' x 5' x 10' unit. I received unit 2907. The unit i received is only 4' deep. Called to see if I was given a wrong storage unit. Office says the unit is marked as a 5 x 5 unit. Had to go back to store to get the correct number of furniture pads that I was supposed to have, that was annoying. The U-box cover was ripped and not in good shape. When me and the movers got to the facility the afternoon of the move, the boxes were not ready and were still in the warehouse. my move started half an hour later than scheduled, so I had to pay an additional fee to the movers because of this delay. The Laurelwood location was great customer service wise and maintaining the vehicle. The issue I had was with the customer service person I talked to for scheduling the morning of my scheduled rental time because of an issue I had picking up my rental. I had called a local number to switch my rental, somewhere out of Fremont, per the area code 510, I just used the same number who had called me to confirm my appointment the day before. I was supposed to pick up at 8 am on El Camino in Sunnyvale but they were not open nor did they prepare the truck to be received by me by 8am and they were not open until 9, I got there around 8:10 and walked around confused because the lot was completely full and I didn't see the trucks so I had to walk around a little then checked in to pick up my rental. When I got a message that I had to wait for them to be open before receiving my rental I approached the office. They had their open sign on and when I approached to ask if I could pick up my rental a guy not in uniform, holding a box of keys, and not wearing a mask told me they weren't open he couldn't help me and he was just doing a favor for his boss and walked away. This was an inconvenience for me as I needed to be somewhere by 930 and I was going to be late because the truck wasn't available in time. I called customer service and got a snappy woman who made it clear it was not her job to do the scheduling for any where but San Jose but she would sacrifice her time to accommodate me. With that she directed me to the Laurelwood location and said I could just walk in and pick up the vehicle right away. Not the case they also didn't open until 9 but I didn't find that out until I got there. The woman didn't let me finish my questions hung up on me as I was trying to ask my last question and was impatient and interruptive when I was asking question previous to the hang up. Not a super great way to start the morning. Really disappointed and frustrated at they way she treated me. I do want to praise the Laurelwood crew for being super nice and accommodating getting thing done really quickly and empathizing with my situation and apologetic for the interaction that they didn't have anything to do with. I would 100% rent from Laurelwood again. I would not return to rent from El Camino And I am hesitant to call customer service again for the possibility of dealing with the same woman and having the same encounter.MORIAH W.

Go some place else. The first truck was, all over the rode. So I took it back. And got an older beat up truck. Was moving out of a rental. And when I went to back up, the truck wasn't moving so I gave it alittle more gas, and it took off fast. I hit the brakes as hard as I could, and it ran into retaining wall. I call the uhaul roadside number and told them what happened. No one showed up, so I drove back to the shop. I told the what happened and they were kids of rude When I said I didn't want to get another truck they said I couldn't get the 70 dollars of gas money back. If I would have towed my car, before this happened, I'm afraid. I probably would have crashed. I paid for insurance and I believe that it was uhauls fault. I'm not responsible for any damage due to the poor maintenance of your vehicle. I'm going to contact NBC Bay Area Responds, and have them contact you. Also my right side is still hurting from the seat belt. Any questions you can give me a call. I had to spend more money and time, because of this experience. 408-891-4215. Aman helped us with everything while renting a unit (actually two) at the 2121 lauralwood location. He was extremely courteous, articulate, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional! Negative - The facility requires only one type of lock, but that was not made clear prior to arrival. Without this lock, I would not be able to use the facility. The facility had run out. So we had to go get our own from Home Depot. Positive - I had gone to Southern California to get the last of my mother's belongings. I had missed estimating the actual size of storage I would need. The staff made it very easy for me to get the next larger size of unit. Also, I was not very happy with the lock situation and I was a bit short. The staff member treated me very well, even when I was short. My being short was my fault, and I congratulate the staff member for not reacting to my rudeness.KATHY R. | First Impressions

The elevator was broken for several hours which ended up delaying my move time. Also, there were 50+ people from collegemoves (I think that's the company?) were all gathered around the entrance and constantly using the elevator once it started working. All of this caused my movers to take much longer than what was originally planned.. This ended up costing me a lot more money since the movers charge by the hour. My reservation did not reserve a unit but only gathered personal information to speed up the real reservation process which happens on site. How is that a reservation? The reservation was for a outside drive-up unit but I was given an indoor unit for the same price (should be cheaper) because the outdoor units were apparently sold out.
