Gary was really helpful. It had taken me a couple of weeks to find a storage facility with an available storage unit. When I finally had, I booked it right away even though I was unable to get there for a few days. Upon arrival, my access was denied. Vehicle return line was fast and the tech was greatKerry R.
First of all, you could NOT charge over 500 dollars for a rental that was supposed to be one way one day. I was charged for 3 days and given just enough miles to make it to my destination. I stated it was a one way and a one day over and over, also that all I needed was a truck or van. Then I was told Bill's towing would have 100 dollars refund or a check, yet it ended up being something getting mailed to me from uhaul AND no confirmation of that check being mailed out. I will NEVER use U-Haul again because of this.Patrick P.

The guy that's too fat stand while working needs to lay off the doughnuts and eat his shitty attitude. His disrespectful tone and lack of effective communication skills will cause further issues with customers. People were friendly and accommodating. However, your processing system is extremely slow. Better on the 'pick-up' end, but horrible on the 'return' end. You might consider Kiosks to let customers enter their information. The your staff can do a final check and add options.FRANCIS R.
This was not our selected pick up location. Our pick up location was changed by U-Haul Traffic without notifying me, They changed our 9:30 pick up to a location that didn't open until 10:00. And then changed it to this location while we were on the phone with them. This location did an excellent job. This site has some good workers, but NOT enough to cover the multiple needs.. Hard for them to keep up when they must deal with ordering, reservations as well as returns, clean up of equipment AND hooking trailers (plus assessments of electrical). Two incidents of significant computer slowing and stopping. Recently I rented a pickup truck for a day and I'll tell you it was brand new Chevy Silverado probably the best rental experience I've had with any uhaul. Easy to use 24/7 online rental and picking up was easy you bypass lines get key and go that easy. Drop off was close to the same you just pull in hand vehicle over to staff and go. The ball got dropped somewhere on a day change pickup in Phoenix, Oregon and 20 ft van. I had to pay the extra because nothing else apparently was available. It made me nervous that these type of things happen regularly and people are left hanging (literally for 20 minutes on hold). That is not pleasant when delays cause problems. I used uhauls 24/7 self check out through the app for a reason, a deadline.... And Monday morning is slammed with people lined out the door to return their weekend rentals. So I wanted to skip the lines. Will I did and I'm thankful for this service, But... I had to rent a truck where the cab and truck bed/bay smelt so heavy of marijuana that my eyes hurt/watered for a long stretch of my move. People be transporting marijuana courtesy of uhaul. The store is a little on the unkempt side but considering the effects of COVID and how busy this place is, it's understandable. The staff, however, has been outstanding! The truck was clean on the outside, but not very clean on the inside. All in all, it was an easy transaction from beginning to end. Truck ran great, AC worked great. I also think the mileage rate is a little high. But if I need a truck, I would rent from here again.Maxine D.

The employees here tried to commit fraud. The tried to sell me a hitch ball I did not need, telling me that they could not hook this trailer up to my 1 7/8 inch ball - that I must have a 2" ball. After we argued a bit I pointed out the plaque on the tongue of the trailer that said it works with my ball. They then went inside and in a couple of minutes I was magically approved to use the ball I had. All the dire safety issues were gone. This was nothing but fraud and an attempt to sell me a ball I didn't need.David G.

I won't rent at this location again, unfortunately. I marked all the boxes no on my online reservation and they still tried to charge me for the insurance. It took almost half and hour from start to finish and I had reserved online. When they finally got that taken off, my bill was still much higher than what the online order said. They told me it was taxes - 10% for a city tax. I understand you have no control over that, but you should be able to see your total when reserving online.TRISHA ANNE D.

Rental person alluded to the truck being rented for the next day by someone else and wasn't available. When the movers didn't show, it threw off my timetable. I called the store for a half an hour and no one picked up. I used your website and it showed the truck was available the following day. The rental person basically lied. Software was still down when we arrived in Medford.Tthey did not even know we rented the equipment in Colorado and drove it to Oregon. They had no record of us renting the car carrier. The place was backed up to the street. Again after 15-20 minutes they just told us to leave and they would work it out. Again completely unprofessional due to your software problems. I purchased a lock from uhaul when I rented my storage they kept locking my unit telling me the lock they sold me was not acceptable. I complained about never being able to access my unit because of faulty key cards and locks on my unit and was met with attitude and poor customer service. They told me they wouldnt lose business ot having me because they are always full anyway terrible employees the only good employee there was having his 1st day at work that says alot. Ive rented from uhaul in the past and have never had a bad experience. It wasn't necessarily the employees fault but honestly I would never go back to a facility where you had to wait for an hour every time to open your storage unit. Apparently the it guy was on leave and the company wouldn't let them hire someone else, so my code to access my storage unit never got programmed into the system. I wasted so many hours of my life trying to get into that stupid storage unit because there was never more than one person. at the front desk and most of them didn't understand why I couldn't just use my code and I got forgotten about so many times. My two year experience with Rogue Valley UHaul was beyond great until the Almeda Fire fallout and the ensuing madness forced us to move out of the area. I found it taxing to deal with all I was dealing with, and then to have UHaul not quickly enough recognize I had extenuating circumstances and aid in ending my contract. It was too much with the no response and continued charging. I do appreciate though that everything has been resolved and thank all who did help to do so. The only thing I had an issue with was getting parking in front of storage units, as a disabled veteran I think parking across the parking lot to get a few things out was a hassle/difficult. You should have one or two spots there specific for loading and unloading storage units infront of units. But all your U-Haul are taking all the parking. Parking was impossible. The reservation had to be redone on 3 separate occasions. Twice in one day within a few hours. The first reservation could not be found. It took almost 40 minutes to check in, I was charged first months rent when it was supposed to be free. The associated could not reverse the charges.
