Most of the staff were helpful. But my UBOX was mis-delivered to the wrong location and arrived late. I understand these things happen but there needs to be better communication to the customer during the lost box phase..It is very upsetting when most of your possessions are unaccounted for and nobody can give you any updates or shows any concern for making it right. Will not ever use a UBOX again and will di my best to use an alternate UHAUL location.

The engine light would come on when going up a hill. Also the cruise control didn't work. This made a long trip, longer.

The driver door lock could not be unlocked with a key. I had to go to the passenger side and crawl over the seats in order to get to the driver seat. A hassle, but not a deal breaker. Also, the small in-dash display that normally shows the total mileage constantly displayed a "Oil Change Required" message, which was not such a big thing until I attempted to return the truck after hours. The after hours app requires a picture of the odometer reading at check-in. The actual mileage does display for a few seconds when the key is first turned on, but then goes immediately to the change oil message. Unfortunately, I had to take 18 pictures (I counted them) before I got the timing right and actually captured the display showing the mileage instead of the change oil message. Also, the smart phone app which you use to turn in the truck after hours was not working. So, I called the U-Haul 800 number to request assistance. The recorded message stated that all agents were very busy and that I would receive a call back in 55 minutes. So, we went to a local store and waited for the call back, which never came. After waiting 1 hour and 10 minutes, we called the 800 number again, waited on the phone for another 20 minutes and finally reached a team member. This team member was not able to stay on the line to help us, but did give us some useful information that helped with the smart phone app issue. So, we returned to the U-Haul center, got onto the app and finally was able to check-in the truck using the app. From beginning to end the process of returning the truck took us nearly 2.5 hours. So, the after hours check-in process is not as quick to use as U-Haul advertises. The after hours check-in process would have been much quicker had U-Haul followed the truck maintenance schedule as recommended and changed the oil so the "Change Oil" message was not constantly displayed, but, oh well, it is what it is.

This is one of the worst experiences i have ever had. Customer service is absolutely awful. My reservations and payments were entirely tangled up in the system and the employees are unable to see past the system to the customer. The equipment i reserved was unavailable although I had requested it twice and paid for it. The locations they were trying to send me to were way out of the way for both pickup and dropoff.

Customer service at pickup was inattentive. Signed me in and pointed me in the general direction. Pick up was just the opposite, three people came out to check the truck and clean it. The same person was there that checked me out but she seemed confused by all the work the others were doing. Perhaps people behind the counter need to spend time outside the building and see what goes on beyond the counter.

Location needs to sort out parking locations to accommodate more than four truck being returned after hours. Overall U-Haul depends too much on off-shore customer service. Using a phone tree to protect the retail location from question is unfortunately standard these days...but there needs to be a final option to talk to the store in person....without off-shore leaving a message for someone to call you. Overall heavy on tech/internet....light on customer service.

At check in I was told to click on the link to take a picture of my driver's license, but your system wouldn't load a picture. Then when I attempted the online checkout your system wanted a picture of the gas gauge and odometer, but that wouldn't work either

I had a reservation at noon at 124 S Road 28, Pasco, WA 99301 location. The individual there said my reservation is at 3212 W Court St, Pasco, WA 99301. when I went to the second location they said my reservation was at 5:30. I was finally able to get the trailer at 6:45 I went home and pack all night and left the trailer on the tuck. the next day I began driving and the trailer fell off the hitch and rammed my truck when I was entering the freeway. Overall, it was a bad experience that caused unnecessary stress and wasting a lot of my time.

installed hitch on 2022 outback. after completed technician informed me the wiring comes out of the hatch exposed, and gets tucked into trunk when not in use. if I knew that was how it was to be configured I would not have had it done by UHaul. no communication by technician. poor customer service.

I have been renting equipment for my business from uhaul since 1986. The past 3 years have been miserable. Often the reservation location is switched last minute or the equipment may not be there. I am in the rental business too. If I treated my customers, especially my long term customers the way uhaul treats me, I'd be out of business. Uhaul has become unreliable and undependable. I am actively searching for my own equipment.

Contract #22020729: 9/12 we rent a truck, an appliance dolly, and 7 blankets. What I got was a truck and 7 Blankets. We were told he truck had ½ a tank and need to be filled back to that point. The truck only has 1/4 tank. We took pictures. The clerk say that dollies can't be reserved, they didn't have one for us. When we returned the truck we showed the clerk that the tank was on at 1/4 full and was 1/4 full when returned. He a said he would take care of it. He did not. I was charged for 9 gallons of gas at a rate of $77.25 plus tax. I sent another review here and got an immediate response from one Jose Jaimez who said he would take care of it. That was on 9/12 and he said he would reverse the charges. Since then I have sent Jose 3 emails. As this evening 10 PM PDT on 9/17 the charge have not been reversed and despite several requests for a new receipt I have not gotten one. The charges should total $72.63 not $164.14. Is this U-Haul business practice? Is Jose still employed? Does he read email?

My overall uhaul experience with online reservation was horrible. Reserved a trailer a few minutes away fro me. Got a call the next day saying Ibwould have to drive 90 minutes to pick it up or downgrade and drive 30 minutes to pick it up. Opted to downgrade. When we went to pick it up the next day, was told there wasnt one there and they offered no viable solutions. Called the 1-800 number to file a complaint because we were moving the next day and now had nothing to move with. Was directed to"traffic" and they did solve my problem but only after much aggravation when the pick up location could have solved this issue for us while we were there.

Ordered online 26 ft truck with appliance dolly and regular dolly along with 24 furniture pads. Day of pick up no dollies and movers waiting @150.00 per hour. Truck was a mess and damage everywhere. Check engine light on and radiator light on. Again paying 150.00 per hour for movers. Finally gave me another truck and acted like I was an inconvenience. Seat belt on drivers side broken. Check engine light came on during my second 12 mile trip. Self check out miles were less than odometer and fuel was over stated by 1/4 tank. Found it interesting that the scamming of fuel and miles was on both trucks almost like standard practice. So outside of costing 300.00 and having to buy 200.00 worth of dollies the rest of the move was smooth. Safety concerns at not a concern at this location. Oh yeah. The rat of 39.95 per day was bumped to 79.95 when they charged my card. This location is a rip off.

Manager at this place knew the truck had a problem. it should have been maintained before renting it again (to us). He was very rude to me when I explained the problem. He even called me two days after we had turned the truck in on time, asking if I was going to turn it in. Very short with me after I told him we did turn it in. No contact with his workers or seeing the key turned in....just poor management all together will never rent from them again. Improvement would also be to make sure vehicles are safe.

I rented a truck on 8/28 for approximately 3.5 hours. The truck was returned to the location on the same day as rental. I received a phone call on 8/30 asking if I was going to return the truck. I informed the person it was returned on 8/28 at 3 pm. I then received a revised bill getting charged for 3 days rental. I called and waited on hold for 30 min three separate times before finally reaching a person. I was then informed to wait on hold for additional time for the manager to process the return. When the manager finally presented himself the interaction was horrible. He asked what he could do and what I wanted, I said I had been waiting on hold for him to process the refund. He told me it had already been done by the previous employee and not to worry about it. I asked why I had to wait on hold then for an additional 10 min, he said the employee didn't know he could process the refund. When I asked if he could double check to make sure it was processed (since it had been two hours by this time trying to contact someone) he definitely seemed very annoyed. I will never return to this location and I will also never recommend this location to anyone I know. The level of professionalism is non-existent by their demeanor and behavior. The owners of this location should be embarrassed by the people representing them.

Jose, the manager, was exceptionally helpful in fixing an oops in the mileage I was charged. I look forward to doing business here again if I need to rent a truck.

i recommend because they have huge selection but the girl who checked me out was not smart, did not know how to say words, and she wasn't friendly. i have rented u haul many many times and this was a first. also, the inside of the cab was not clean. the previous person left stuff in the cup holders and stains. it was still there when i got the truck.

Tryed to book in person but guys don't seem to know what they are doing. Guy spent 20mins trying to get me set up but in the end told me he would have his boss call me. Which by the way he never did. I finally booked online

The staff at the Court Street Pasco location are great. Manager was competent and she worked with me to get what I wanted done quickly and went out of the way to help me with my move.

They did not walk me to my storage unit to ensure we could get in it. When I opened the door the alarm went off. Everytime I open door the alarm goes off.
