theresa l. | Overall ExperienceThings were fine until I was notified, that my unit was broken into, 02/13/22. There were many cut open boxes thrown around and items thrown around. Some items were missing and furniture broken where they had climbed on and over to get to boxes in the rear if the unit.. Packing material was thrown around and several boxes were empty. We emptied the unit F309 on 03/05/22 to our unfinished home to access damage and missing items. Noticed that day that there was cut fence behind the camper that is stored in the corner or the facility, with fresh footprints in and out. Also, FYI Unit G105 running extension cord from inside Bldg F to that unit and working outside that unit like a repair facility. Initially happy, but then unhappy as to the end. Tried to report the fence and electrical issue, and was told someone would call me back, and that didn't happen.

Dalila F. | Overall ExperienceMaking the reservations for a storage room were a nightmare, the billing cycles ended up being about $30 dollars more than I expected, and finally closing out the rental took about a week and four calls of conflicting information and threats of late fees before all was said and done. The rental had dead cockroaches, spiders, and crickets lining the walls and floor space. Plenty of dust drafted in from somewhere other than underneath the door. A solid 2 out of 5, since I still got utility but I'd rather have stored my property outside than use this location again.

They had carts to use to move our stuff and it greatly helped us . Even when we talked to other people who were moving out . They said they had a great experience . We absolutely loved the climate controlled facility . The buildings were very clean inside and out . And the unit was clean . They only thing that we didn't care for . Is when you left. You had to park your car. Then go outside the fence to put the code in and walk back to vehicle . There maybe was a way to open the gate from the inside but we didn't figure it out . Again , being military . This was the best , easiest and cleanest storage facility we have used .
sherry d. | Online Move InThe original Wilma Rudolph storage rental check-in experience was a nightmare. The traffic, while pulling a 16' trailer was absolutely horrible. But the representative who checked me in was even worse than the traffic!! He was remarkably rude, condescending, and completely and absolutely unprofessional. It was one of the worst customer service experiences in my 55 years and you can bet that I've told everyone about it. It was awful. Then, during the first month of my contract, I setup auto-pay but apparently it didn't work, so I got a late payment email from you (Kevin). I replied to the email with an apology and questions about why the auto-pay didn't work, but never received a response. The next month, the auto-pay worked but I still received a late notice from Kevin! I again replied and received no response. Bottom line is that the actual storage facility was perfect, but the customer service and horrible check-in location are HORRIBLE. And the manager is non-responsive - which actually may explain the awful customer service. The storage unit and location was fanstastic.
katrina a. | Overall ExperienceI waited for 3 hours on a phone call only to be transferred every 20-30 minutes to a different person who was not able to help or answer any questions. I asked for supervisors for further assistance but was placed on hold for an additional 20 minutes just to get someone from a department who was unable to help with my reservation. When I asked to cancel the reservation I was told I would not be able to, nor would I be able to get unit or access information. Everyone I talked to was thoroughly unhelpful and made the experience more stressful and arduous.

Shawnta K. | Overall ExperienceStorage unit rented is being used prior to my online rental.there was a lock already on door.code to enter did not work because my rental was not entered into computer system till I contacted offsite Manager,who then directed me to another space a couple doors down and solved the entrance code problem.the facilities are clean and well lighted however,sign should be placed outside doors to remind uhaul or private vehicles- shouldn't block door access makes it tougher to get moved in.for short notice move in,I expected there would be problems.Thank you for being a part of my community and being available when I needed extra space. This increase our unload time and had to pay our movers additional fee why we spent extra time getting this resolved. Second password we picked would not work the last day to gain access again wasted our time and caused unnecessary delays.

Michael B. | Overall ExperienceWhile the facilities were adequate there is much room for improvement on the employee side. Getting the unit in the first place was a complete run around as to who I need to talk to and how the unit can be moved in to. The employees take very sweet time to help the customers that come in and have no sense of urgency. When trying to close out my storage unit I was once again given the run around. I called during reasonable hours only to be put on hold for 30 mins and redirected to an off site rep. That off site rep sent the Wilma Rudolph location an email stating that I wanted to move out 6 days ago (Sept 11) and to contact me back via email. No follow up was given. I called back 2 days later (Sept 13) and this time got ahold of someone in the store. I was told that they would go down to the storage unit and close it out. Two days pass and again no email confirmation that anything was done. I called the location again, got ahold of someone at that location and was now told that I or someone else had to be down there in person to close out the account. I have no idea what's going on down there but you should probably get a team huddle going to address the lack of work ethic going on around there.

I literally paid almost 200 a month for 6 months to this place just so my stuff could get ruined beyond repair!!! Rented a 26ft truck from them to move back to Oregon and literally paid almost 2000 for a beater truck that literally wouldn't go faster than 25 mph up any kind of slope!! Super disappointed!!!

darlene w. | Overall ExperienceI was very disappointed to find out after an incident with my climate control unit that there are absolutely no cameras inside the building. And I found it very frustrating to find out that my unit wasn't being checked daily with the barcode scanner, which if it was being checked daily I should have been notified if my unit was accidentally left open OR if it was broken into (with items missing, police report was filed). But due to the absolute lack of security which I felt like I was paying a little extra for with a climate control unit inside a building and I quote from their location website "Indoor Storage: Twice the protection and security" but I received the complete opposite and my items were actually more vulnerable than most of the outside units because inside the building there is NO security cameras. The manager was very helpful though during the whole incident, I have no issues on how he handled it all, he was very helpful. There are just security flaws at this location that seriously need to be fixed. Especially considering there was another unit in my same building, but located outside that was also broken into when I discovered my unit was wide open. So two police reports from two separate people for the exact same problem and one was alerted to their unit being tampered with and I was not (because my unit wasn't even checked that day for the daily walk through). I moved my stuff out as soon as I could due to the lack of security.
