I booked my truck on line and wanted to use the online pick up tool so I didn't have to wait like I did last time. The web site said the location didn't open until 10am. When I got there it had been open since 7am. Then the web check in didn't work. It said I had to check in with the clerk. I then had to wait an hour! I use this for business so this cost me money. I had myself and 3 guys waiting around for an hour! This makes we not want to use this location. After now waiting for 45 minutes and an hour in my last 2 visits I will only try once more. If I have to wait again I will not be using this location again.JOHN H.

My contract stated the truck needed to be returned with 7/8 of the gas tank full, however the truck started with only 3/4 of a tank. I took a picture of the odometer and gas tank when I first received the truck but didn't want to deal with contesting my contract. In the future I'd hope the gas level is accurately recorded, as I was not given the chance to verify before signing the contract.Desmond H.
I had a terrible experience. I had a truck reserved at 11:00 am I showed up 10 mins early and then had to wait in line for 45 mins. In addition, I booked a moving crew for 11:30 using the U-haul, and because of the delay, I was late to meet them at the move location costing me about $50+ in lost time.Mark J.

The person doing the trailer hookup didn't twist the chains enough and they were dragging on the road, until I stopped and had to re-hook-up the chains and twist them so they no longer touch the ground. Small thing but I think people should be better trained for the trailer hookup as it can create a risk for the customer and company in cases of accidents or wear/tear on the equipment.DENIS A.

The location here was out of most inventory that was reserved for customers. I was only able to get a 10' truck when I had reserved a 20'. Sean offered great customer service to help assist slove the problems caused by the inventory not being available.CLIFF H.

I have been renting from this loation for 30 years, and the last few years have been the best ever. Finally, the computer system remembers the customer and vehicle information which saves lots of time. We had originally made the appointment fir Sunday, when we came the trailer was hooked up; but we were told it was our trucks issue why only half the lights were working. My husband looked at the connections and noticed the ground wire on trailer was broke, and not found until we did. In addition trailer was filthy inside. Needless to say, we were not able to take trailerâ€¦ young lady that helped us was very apologetic. We were able to schedule another one for two days laterâ€¦ check in went fine. We initially booked for two days, but called and extended the rental fir another day ( spoke with Mike). However Mike called at 1130 and demanded we bring trailer back, before our agreement of 5pm. He was very unprofessional and rude!! We did drop off a very clean trailer and communicated that we would be contacting corporate. We didâ€¦ interesting that a $10 gift for future rentals would satisfy us. Oh well, I wish there were other community rentals that we could access. Thank you for listening!DEBRA S.
Very easy in & out. Very helpful staff. Pickup and dropoff were each super quick. Everyone masking up was a huge relief. Trailer was very clean and in perfect working order. U-Haul had called the day before to alert me that my closest tow center didn't have the 4x7 trailer, and offered to switch my reservation on the call; the switch worked perfect, including changing date to the very next day. Uploading license images was a breeze and the tow center expressed their appreciation too!Robert D.
Please make your mobile website not require location information for the return process. I had to spend 20 minutes figuring out how to allow that in order to actually return the truck. Thankfully, I was able to figure it out myself, but I bet many others won't. The place to change the setting was different from the instructions on your site, and was surprisingly hard to discover. I can't be the only person that hits this. U-haul likely wastes a lot of everyone's time and money (including itself with support phone calls) with this "feature" that doesn't need to exist.Johnathan D.

Staff walked by me 2-3 times as I waited at my return truck where the sign says to â€œwait with the vehicleâ€. I had to go and ask one of them if I was to remain. He said I could just leave it, and seemed to be indifferent to the fact that I was doing exactly what the return area sign said to do. No apologies. I work in customer service/retail world. First when I got there. The self check out was not working correctly. I waited in line for a good hour to rent a truck I reserved, then they lost the keys for another hour and a 1/2 remind you it was very cold outside. They did not keep me up to date with what was going on. I Finally had enough and I called the main uhaul costumer service line. Right when they where directly me to the general manager here they come with keys in hand. I Was already so late in what I was hauling that day I hung up to put in the rushed hard work that was ahead of me. The truck that I had rented had a broken off turn single And drove really roughly. My whole round trip consisted of 4 miles which I was charged 15. Now you tell me is this even a fair experience. I think I should have had a full refund at lease partially for all the inconvenience and extra labor that was brought on to me and my crew.DARLYN D.

Additional staff. Seemed there was only one person to greet, discuss options, write up contracts, AND locate the equipment, get it ready, hook it up (trailer). When I arrived at appointed time, the one customer-facing employee was out - in the rain - tending to another customer. That employee was moving all the time, but I had to wait 10 minutes before anyone came into the office or acknowledged my presence. While getting my trailer hooked up, a customer asked me, â€œDoes anyone work here?â€ I explained to her there appeared not enough staff.Ronald H.

The location is Understaffed. I arrived 10 minutes before my reservation and there were 10 people standing outside. The store was not open. This created long lines with only two employees to check people out once the store was opened. The workers who were there gave as good of service as was possible. Upon return @ 1:30 pm, there were still long lines and no one at the counter. I asked a lot employee if I could drop my rental off and she said yes, they would process it. Unfortunately for me, they did not process it until 2 hours after I dropped it, resulting in an extra day's charge. It took 25 minutes on hold until I could talk to an operator to correct the billing. All the employees were very nice, just understaffed and with more work than they could do.Peter S.
Dont hang up on me when I call. Dont cancel chats before my question is even asked. When I actually reach a person, actually be able to help or give any amount of information. Ensure my box arrives on time. If its not going to arrive on time. I should not have to be the one to call you to find out whats happening. Be able to schedule pickup/drop off dates when I call. Call me back when you say you're going to call me back. If your a possible customer reading this. Save yourself a living nightmare by using some other service.Forest M.

Reservation was for 10:30, showed up at 10:30 and it literally took an hour to get the trailer. Only one girl working having to run out and look for trucks and hook up trailers. Finally got the trailer hooked up, drove out of parking lot and onto Aurora Ave and the trailer fell off. Had to pull into a parking lot and walk back to UHaul to get someone to come help. She had not hooked the tow bar onto the hitch. It was only still attached from the chains. Also noticed I got charged $5.00 for Safe Trip which I asked her to remove.MAUREEN M.

The business called us the day before to tell us we need to drive further away to pick up equipment. When arrived the next day at 7am, business was not open, even tho those are the service hours, to help us pick up reserved truck. Took over 45 minutes to get the reserved truck over 3 hours after reserved time. Then took over 45 minutes to drop off. NOT A GOOD DAY FOR UHAUL. Will not be recommending or using this company again. Very disappointed and want my money back. But that will not happen. Thanks for a headacheTIMOTHY B.
Only one person at the service desk when I got there at 10. It took me an hour just to get assigned a truck. I was told to return it by 6 PM. I was then sent to the back of the lot to a 20 foot truck that I agreed to rent for 39.95 per day. It was pinned in by another truck so I went back to the office to ask someone to move the truck pinning my truck in. They wouldn't do that and gave me a new truck. I assumed it would be the same price but this one charged me 79.95 per day and it only had less than a quarter of a tank of gas. At this point I was running an hour late to my appointment. I put 12 miles on the vehicle and was charged for 4 gallons of gas. I also suffered a $30 service charge for the less than a quarter tank of fuel. I would have filled the tank but since I was told to return it by 6:00pm I was unable to do that. My complaint is I was charged $40 more than I agreed to, billed for 4 gallons of gas when I barely used 1 gallon (an extra $14.85), and was charged $30 for returning the truck with less than a quarter of a tank, which is what I started with. All in all I feel I was charged $84.85 more than I should have been. I will not use U-Haul again unless I am reimbursed for $84.85. Respectfully, Roger Kutz 425.922.5126ROGER K.
Came in on a Saturday morning on 10/30, the line was out the door (literally) with only one employee working the counter and ended up waiting for more than 30 min to be helped. Also, I was unjustly charged $30.25 for 6 gallons of fuel, when clearly I returned the vehicle with the same fuel reading as when I drove off the lotâ€"completely unacceptable service!Christian R.

I am highly disappointed with my experience with Uhaul. First of some of the equipment that I pre-booked was not available and instead of informing me a head of time, I was told when I came to pick up the van. Then, when I came to return the vehicle, there was no employee there to accept the keys or tell me what to do, like I was told there would be when I checked out that morning. So, I had to drive up, get out and ask someone to help. Then the icing on the cake, I was double charged, as if I kept the van for two days. When I called for clarification/fix the charge, I was told that I was not adding up the charges correctly and then was hung up on. So, now I have to dispute the charge with my credit card company. The employees pointed to an area of the back lot where the truck was parked. Fortunately, another customer was passing by and showed me how to identify the truck. The ad card was still on the windshield, which I removed. Then I couldn't start the truck which had a jerry-rigged replacement which took so much muscle to start that I couldn't do it. Your man started it for me and said it just took a lot of strength. I drove it home and noticed the right side mirror was turned in so I couldn't check for traffic. I got home to start loading it and turned it off. I then went to the back of the truck and tried to open the back and found I couldn't lift the door as something kept stopping it about 2-3â€ from the bottom. I went inside and got the items I was moving set out for my SIL to help me get in the truck. I then got in and tried to start the truck and again found that I couldn't. A neighbor came by and turned it on. I then was able to move it to the side where it sat until Sunday. Very unhappy about this!!MARY K.
