The woman named Maria was very nice but very rough around the edges. I am 100 disabled and took what she said to me to heart. Sometimes it's the way you say things that can really hurt someone's feelings. First my lyft driver dropped me In the wrong spot so l had to walk to actually where l had to pick up the truck. I couldn't breathe. When l got where the office was opened with Maria she said oh the truck is rented for 1030am and now it's 930pm. Then she had me sign the paperwork and she said oh someone is renting the truck after you so make sure your on time. I had a anxiety attack because of her harsh words. Yes l am sentimental and when l got home l had another anxiety attack again. Besides that the price was great and l can't complain . Thank you for renting the truck to me. I will be renting again on February 3,2022 but a different location. I really don't like how she treated me.LORI R.

I had a really poor experience with U-Haul. I had to move from Nashville to Boston and rented a ten foot truck. The location I originally selected in nashville to pick up the truck got changed to another location in nashville. This wouldn't be a huge deal for a lot of people but i could only pick up the truck after office hours at night and the location that I picked is much safer (well lit, location, etc) compared to the location U-Haul changed it to. When I went to go pick up the truck it was dark out and the parking lot was super dark and there were four or five lingering men hanging out around the truck. I wasn't safe. Then, I had to do the online check in to actually get the truck and the U-Haul website And the app were not working. I was out there by myself in the dark for thirty minutes waiting for the site to work as Im trying to not draw any attention to myself. But Im an alone woman in a parking lot so of course it got the mens attention. I was worried about my safety. Not okay. Eventually I get the truck and make the drive to Boston. I reserved a storage unit when I booked my truck and had a reservation number for the storage unit. I get to U-Haul storage And they say I don't have a reservation. I pull up my reservation confirmation And the number and they say it's not a reservation. Oh….my bad….I thought me paying $200 for storage and the email header of "your storage unit is reserved" means I had a storage unit. Also- when I go to drop off my truck the app and website (you guessed it!) werenot working again. I'm a 27 year old who knows how to operate technology. I don't know how anyone in my parents generation would be able to trouble shoot this if they were in my shoes with the truck rental. your online systems absolutely suck. I won't use U-Haul again and won't recommend it. That stinks for you guys because all my friends are moving! Definitely not worth the $800 I spent…especially when my safety was threatened.Jennifer S. | First Impressions

Fix your truck!! What could've taken me less than 4 hours took me 8 hours! Due to your truck turning off multiple times and having me call my mechanic brother to find out the alternator is the problem! The van was great except for the low pressure sensors in the back tires being on constantly from pick up and they stayed on even after topping off the air. I returned the vehicle later than anticipated and incurred additional charges which I expected. However, the staff at this location was unable to explain the bill and additional charges to me upon checkout which was very frustrating. After questioning the bill and spending additional time in the office I gave up and called the corporate office for clarification. The lady at the corporate customer service was able to explain everything to me and everything was fine.DERRICK I.

This was my first time renting a U-Haul. Manager at front desk wasn't friendly. Acted like my rental checkin process was a hassle to her. Didn't offer to come out to review the van and show me anything.. Return after hours was very difficult. When I got the van it was behind a locked gate but when I returned it that gate wouldn't open so I parked in the lot next to the rental office. I was worried though that this might be wrong but I had no one to ask. Plus the there was no signage about where to park the van after hours. The process to return through the web didn't work through my phone, camera wouldn't activate so then I downloaded the app and followed the long list of steps and instructions. Then I had such a hard time locking all the vans doors. The auto lock sound happened but not all doors would lock so I had to individually go around and use the key on each door. Maybe if staff had given me a tutorial at the beginning I wouldn't have struggled. Anyway not a great checkin or return but the van served it's purpose. Probably will choose Enterprise next time.Abbie B.

I placed the reservation for my 15' truck on Wednesday for Saturday. I called Friday to see if I could pick up 1 hour earlier and was told no because it was being returned just before and needed to be cleaned before I could take it. Ok. Showed up at reservation time, and staff could not find the truck. "Maria" and "Pedro" both checked the same key rack multiple times, and then each looked out the same window multiple times- each time, the keys nor the truck were not there. "Maria" finally sent "Pedro" out to look for the truck. Twice. After about 30 minutes, he was able to find a truck- not sure if it was the one that supposedly was returned and needed to be cleaned, so that I could not have picked it up an hour earlier. "Maria" also could not find the uploaded image of my license I provided at the time of reservation. This is not the first time at this location that my license image could not be found. (staff training issue?) I had planned on returning truck after closing time. Only directions given to me regarding the process by Maria was, "scan the barcode on the door and follow the instructions." Scanned the code and worked at following the instructions on my smart phone. It did not say where exactly to park the vehicle. Also, the web page kept reloading while I was attempting to provide the information requested. Pictures failed to load several times despite image capture and tapping "Done". Less than stellar web experience. Less than stellar staff experience. May or may not use this location next time- there is at least 1 other within a couple miles.THAD D.
The staffs in this location are very arrogant. They left couple hardboard pack in the truck when I picked. I didn't notice that while picking. When I dropped the truck back they started arguing with me very rudely that I left that in the truck. Either they gave me a truck without cleaning or the cleaning person did not do the job properly. I used the truck only to carry 2 sofa sets. Those staffs were very arrogant. Also I would like to report that your fuel tank is not good. It is very very hard to top up the fuel.Roopesh P.

The dimensions of the van didn't quite match what was advertised. For example, we thought we would be able to fit our full size mattress on its side in the van with ease based off the dimensions provided. At the end of the day it did fit, but we had to squish it in against the roof. If we had something more rigid, like a large cabinet or wardrobe, that we thought would fit but didn't, it would have been a much larger issue. This of course is a comment for UHaul in general and not the specific location we used. Overall we had a great experience and will use UHaul again for our next move.MARTIN G.
