Customer service needs to be improved I rented the tow dolly for a day and even said a full day when I picked up and when I made the reservation and not even 8 hrs later I have U-Haul calling me asking nay demanding when I'll have it back and was informed that's it's rented out already to another party and I needed to have it back I haven't even had it 8 hrs and I payed for 24hrs a full day even payed for there best insurance I am highly upset I rented it to take my car to the shop to get tuned and after only 8 hrs of having the tow dolly U-Haul was demanding it back I left my car at the tuners shop and swiftly returned the tow dolly well under the limit I rented it for and went and purchased a tow dolly of my own to get my car home last night the same day I rented from uhaul .they were very unprofessional and I do not recommend this location to anyone and urge them to rent from another buisness or location if I treated customers the way they did at my buisness I wouldn't have a business anymore.thats forsure.KYLE O.

Almost every uhaul associate was very rude, except the guy in Dana Point.chris C.
Truck had a leaking differential that made a huge oil spill in my driveway. Also, over 50 miles an hour the truck shook violently from the drive train through the floor. Also, the employees at the Longview location were very rude and not easy to work with.Stan S.
We were stuck. We had a reservation for a move out of state with another company and they did not have the equipment we reserved. U-Haul people are amazing. The customer service we received was top notch. From the Olympia office to the Longview office and even our drop off at our final destination in Henderson. The app is awful. It was pouring down rain & I had a very hard time going through all the steps to return the u-haul while standing in the rain. Took way to long. It should be as simple as dropping the keys off, taking a photo or two & leaving, not so many steps & photos.katie G.

The service was expensive, I paid well over $300 to use the vehicle for 3 days for very light use. I did however drive roughly 120 miles and this understand the charge for that mileage. But I also had to fill the tank which was expensive on top of my total bill.Marshall C.

The overall U-box concept is very good. However, it was apparent that U-Haul is having issues getting qualified help on both outgoing and incoming locations. I was given the wrong location on receiving end. Then was extremely difficult to get someone on the phone to confirm the pickup. Finally got someone on the phone, only to be transferred to another group (should have been handled by IVR) at which point was put back on hold. The overall U-box experience was good but U-Haul needs more and better trained help.James M.

I could not get the check out app/website to work for me with my Android phone. I spent what seems like half an hour continually trying to get data selected or photos to upload, just to have it start over again at the beginning. I checked my phone storage and location settings on the phone browser (Chrome) and they were fine. I had no issue with the initial check-out, but the checking in never worked. I ended calling the 1-800 when I got home since I could not check-in on the computer from home. Who knows, maybe U-Haul had nightly computer server maintenance going on in Wichita? In the end it worked out, so I'm over being annoyed by it. No issues with service at location, etc. Can't blame them for the tech issue.Jeffrey M.

Shouldn't wait 5 days and charge late fees and then sure had the time to send email afterwards. Told her I was going to empty it out and she said no refunds. the main reasons that I moved my stuff was due to lights . i know alot people use to stay jn u haul units. And was told . thats why there was no lights. I look at that as someone in upper management is not doing there job. You have onsite cameras so its easy to moniture day and night. So if the door is shut for what ever you would determam to long. Check it out. Its storage not for doing art and crafts. Or sut and read or work on projects. ?. Theres many options. Keep in mind offering 24 hours access us nice. One big thing offering that. with lighting opens up a possible libility case do to injury ect.. Put more derect lighting across from each unit so the would have to be open and when you sign in that light comes on. When door opens. Or how everyou would determan when and how light comes on. Hello, I'm not a good person to give a review, on some of these questions, about a storage facility. This was the first time I ever rented a storage unit. You might want to add a third option for your questions. Because, it's not fair to expect people to only have either a, 'Yes or No' response. You will end up with a very unrealistic review and not receive an accurate response. The ONLY reason I did not click 'No' for some of the questions, is because of the employees that work at this facility. They are very nice, helpful, flexible and professional. I do not like ONLY unrealistic 'Yes or No' answer choices. So, out of disapproval of your answer choices, I would have typically answered, 'NO,' to ALL of your questions on your questionnaire. It appears to me, that you want a unrealistic review. Getting a review summary that is askew, really doesn't provide the U-Haul Corporation with much insight. They didn't verify identity which worried me they also either use tonlie to me or are now ive been told for 3 years that the 24 hour access is available to anyone who sets up automatic payments and when I asked they said no we have to earn the trust of them to get that and im pretty put back over that. We have to earn your trust when we pay your wages hmm no thats not right. Second the unit I got this time is a 5x8 and 20 dollars more a month then my old unti which was a 5 by 10 and no one would tell me why. The unit was clean and dry. One locking slide was damaged and we could only use one lock on a large unit (instead of two), but no damage or theft occurred to our belongings/unit in our short 6-week rental period. Access was a tight fit for big trucks or trailer, lots of waiting to access your unit. Overall a good option for a stopover between houses/move. I rented this unit online, so didn't know it would be upstairs. Also had to climb Up a ladder to get into a 2 foot entrance, due to the beam coming through the ceiling right above the entry of the unit. The cherry on the cake is to open the unit and A huge puddle in the middle. The ceiling looked like it had been repaired many times, but never correctly. I feel so horrible for the peron that has stuff under this unit being wood floors. employees were very nice and friendly. I was told I had a unit reserved that matched the size of my moving truck, when I arrived they had 2 units reserved and neither were big enough for my size truck load.. I had no choice but to find storage else were to help fit my belongingsRICK W. | First Impressions
Unit was very small but was all that was available. The ceiling is just a piece of plastic that covers about half of unit and the rest is exposed nails and some kind of spray insulation or something. The hallways and unit were not cleaned or maintained. I'm not when the halls were last swept or mopped as they were filthy. The mouse or rat trap was very large and kept falling apart. Access into the unit was horrible. Only one door usable when we arrived and so had to move things hundreds of feet down a narrow hallways then to the left and the units door swings out so you have to close it to get past it then open it and try and angle your larger belongings in. When moving out there was water dripping down from the roof in the hallway just a few feet down from my unit. This place is in serious need of maintenance, upkeep, and repairs. Overlock should be removed the day customers pay rent. Customers should NOT be allowed to live in units or block doors when others are trying to go in their unit. There's often kids playing in between buildings while parents do god knows what in their unit. I urge you to look at NW self storage in ridgefield and camas That's how a facility should look and be run. I don't feel unsafe accessing my stuff. Staff is helpful and never rude.
