The mirror on the drivers side was broken but it worked fine. I've returned a cross country trailer here before and rented a truck this time. All three service experiences were great. The staff here is efficient and always kind. I rented from a uhaul location in south Florida and it was a nightmare and the staff hated each other and the customers. Please give the employees at this location raises.

Definitely need to implement somewhere to drop the vehicles keys after store hours closeAlso if you're going to ask for gas to be returned at a certain level it must also equally be that level upon get in the vehicle initially the personnel was very nice and helpful I really liked the vehicle the truck was awesome drove smooth was nice and clean I am currently awaiting my charges to see if they match the mileage that I have logged in myself

It would be extremely difficult to make this experience with UHaul better. My initial phone call to reserve the truck was handled by a delightfully cheerful person named Cameron. He was professional and possibly the best customer service experience I have ever had. What a friendly guy! When I picked up the truck, i was helped by Kaitlyn Gomez, who was the picture of helpful professionalism. She was friendly but quick. My previous experiences at UHaul were slow and took a long time. She whipped through it while explaining everything clearly. The truck was new and spotless and performed excellently. Upon return of the truck, Ms.Gomez exhibited the same detailed efficiency and friendly attitude that she presented at the start. I also have to say the way that UHaul has embraced technology in reservations and handling transaction paperwork is impressive and went a long way toward speeding up the entire process. I have used UHaul many times in the past but this was the fastest and most positive transaction.

Large portions of the online 24/7 service experience do not work on Android devices. When I picked up my truck, I was unable to add images or adjust the starting mileage. When dropping off, I couldn't even open the return wizard on my Android phone, and had to use the person who picked me up from the return site's iphone to complete the process. Every person I interacted with was great, but the online experience is totally broken for android.

I always have a great experience at this location and the Ballard one whenever I need anything . I hate packing and moving but at the same time have a great sense of accomplishment at doing the task myself. Your personnel are so nice , fun , engaging and helpful that they actually make the whole experience pleasurable. That is saying a lot as the moving process can be one of dread . My only complaint, ever (and this is true with all locations I use), is that gas level gauges may be mis-read by check-in staff when vehicles are returned. I understand why as the gauge markings on the invoice form are linear and detailed, while the gauges in the trucks are all just sticks formed around a circle. My solution is to take a pic. of my instrument panel when I drop off my vehicle, just in case (or, of course, to wait around for a paper receipt.). Anyway, if, at check out, the staffer could translate and make his highlighter marks on a gauge images that looks more like the truck gauges themselves, this may help. And your web-site gets better and better all the time, as well. Thanks for that! (From my phone so excuse crazy typos.)

I was incorrectly charged for gasoline. When I pointed out the error the staff corrected it immediately, for which I commend them. However, if I hadn't carefully check my invoice and had the willingness to complain, I would have suffered an incorrect charge.

No parking at the store was very uncomfortable. Because I ordered 10 hour, I cannot parked along the street by the store. I had to park in a further place and then walked back. When I returned my truck at night , I had to walk 12 minutes in dark to my car.

I can't imagine what I would change about the experience for both the pick-up or drop-off. Everything was ready and the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. This location is now my go-to for moving and hauling needs.

Trucks with fuel level and mileage not matching on the contract. Got a check engine light within 100 feet of driving the first truck that was given to me. Location claims that people siphon off gas from trucks parked overnight but have not adjusted their procedures to not make it a customer facing issue. All in all - I spent > 30 minutes picking up my rental for a reservation that I had made online.

My initial pick up in Seattle was moved from Rainier Avenue location to to your Interbay location with no useful notification to me. I was Told I would receive a $50 refund for my trouble by your central dispatch/ customer service person. I haven't seen that yet. Then when I picked up my truck I discovered after loading that it had two holes in the roof necessitating covering my now wet cargo and returning/exchanging my truck the next day, again at the Interbay facility. Everything went smoothly from there on out although I do expect my $50 refund.

Vehicle had not been inspected prior to rental. Truck bed was heavily splattered with pigeon excrement due to being parked below pigeon roosting area overnight. Uhaul personnel did clean the truck bed, but this delayed the use of the truck.

The only issue was the description/specs of the truck. It's listed to have a height that due to the door is not accurate and because of that was not able to move one item as it did not fit. This really derailed my move!

You probably know that this facility has been a nightmare for a number of years. I had a storage unit there for a year and a half and the few times I was there (picking up moving boxes, etc.) you had been some of the most bizarre, angry and unprofessional people working AND it was always a huge disorganized mess. Your computer system is completely inadequate for the volume of business you do at that store! The person waiting on me Saturday said he had been brought in to clean up the mess but the office and store area is still trashed and you seem to be understaffed. However, he was professional and friendly - a huge improvement. I can’t answer the questions about available hours and up until Saturday I would have rated everything beyond poor- it felt dangerous. So, some of my comments are shaded by the unprecedented experiences I had in the past.. NOTE: I hadn’t been at the site August 2019. I would say your grade would be NI - needs improvement. (but much better than the past)
