I couldn't tell if there was someone on duty. The lock on the truck was broken and stopped me from gaining access to my rental, I called customer service and was hung up on four times and had to wait two hours before anyone would just assign me a different truck. When I returned the truck other customers were having the same problems. The problem was with the online staff. The last lady I spoke with took the time to listen to my issue with the truck

We experienced three of your Driver/Fork lift Operators all Female, the first one from Bremerton (sorry did not get her name) was excellent. The two California operators Ofillia and Shelby were also excellent. Our California location was a challenge they both handled with great skill. I was a Fire Apparatus Operator/Firefighter 34 years so I recognize Skill. Yes all three have excellent people skills too. I will highly recommend your service.

We would like to give a huge thank you to the Arden California sure for their courtesy and professional customer service. We would especially like to thank Anita who delivered our U box for her safe and courteous delivery. Anita was very professional and displayed outstanding customer service.

We had several problems with this U-Haul move. Initially, we were quoted a price for our move, in person by the manager, at the Bremerton U-Haul store. When we tried to reserve the boxes, first, on line, and then at this same store we were told it would cost $1000 more than first quoted. We contacted this same manager about this discrepancy. He tried to book our move for us and was stymied by the the U-Haul computer system. It seems the U-Haul computer system wanted to charge us $1000(compared to the $109 he quoted us) to deliver the boxes to our home 30 minutes from the Bremerton office. He admitted that this was "wrong". It took him a week 'working with corporate' to get this corrected. His advice and hard work was the best part of working with U-Haul. We would have walked away from dealing with U-Haul if it wasn't for him. But things did not go smoothly, after that. We had reserved times for the delivery and pick-up of the boxes at our home. We waited 4 hours for the delivery of the boxes on the set date. We called and were told that 'they were running late' and they would be delivered 'the first thing the next day'. At noon the next day, we called again and asked why the boxes hadn't been delivered. We were told that they had 'fuel' problems and would be there within the hour. After we started loading one of the boxes, we noticed that we could not close its door. The box had been set down partially off our driveway and a corner was on a mound. This warped the box. We went through the same problems as before to get them to come out and move the box onto the driveway. Then a few days before 'the pick up date', we received a call from U-Haul stating that they had 'overbooked' their driver on our date. They would need to pick up the boxes either the morning before or 4 days later. We told them that we had flight reservations the day after the pick up and we had several workers lined up to load the heavy items the day before pick up. So we told them those changes would not work. Lastly, when our boxes were being delivered at our home in Mesa, we had one more problem. We were in contact with the people delivering our boxes. We gave them the information they needed to deliver our boxes. I was at our home when I noticed the U-Haul truck drive by our home. I got in my car and chased the truck. They finally pulled up in front. The driver got out visibly upset and started yelling at my wife, who had just pulled up in our other car. The driver said she had been 'driving around for 30 minutes' looking for us. We never found out why she was upset. Even though the U-Box is a good idea, dealing with U-Haul is not worth it.

Communication between your location and the annex, and the customer is terrible. Getting ahold of the store is nearly impossible. Had to wait over an hour at the Gorst facility for access to my boxes and the person who finally showed up had no idea we were scheduled to come. Lock was broken. Very disappointed.

Three U-boxes were recommended for the amount of stuff I described, but I should have had at least 5. Had to rent a U-haul van to transport the rest over several trips. Communication could have been much better about delivery and pickup times - make sure you double check your understanding of what you're told, to make sure you're truly on the same page as the service rep. I thought I had made definite arrangements as to time frame, didn't happen the way we agreed, then was told no notation of arrangement had been made and even if it had it would only have been noted as a "request." Very frustrating.

They never had me sign any agreements, when i would call the office for questions on multiple occasions i would never get answer and be sent to the reservations hotline and they couldnt help me.

The storage facility is very nice. The problem is the staff. The Uhaul site in Bremerton is understaffed and half of the people their are rude and lazy. The other half are struggling to keep up.

Other than Cindy and Bobbi and maybe 2 others, this experience was a nightmare. I was not told upfront in Spokane Valley about the storage costs of $55 per container for one day after they arrived at Bremerton (unmanned because I drove out there and there was no office), nor did Bremerton call me to tell me containers were there. I had to call them and was told another charge of $119 would apply but it was over $129 in addition to the $55 x 4 expense. No coordination between locations. A confirmation no. at one location means nothing to another location. Guarantees mean little. Lady at Spokane Valley was vague and irritated by my questions, and I never did get a straight answer about what happens once containers reach Bremerton. I had to find out later about the extra charges. Calling them takes a ton of time since I have to wait and wait and wait. I go online and the person online tells me to call scheduling so that I can wait and wait and wait for someone to finally get to my call. Perhaps in time, Uhaul container service will get themselves coordinated but for now I cannot recommend them to others...

You can advise your people that they need to tell folks they will be charged storage when they take your stuff to be shipped and wait 2 full weeks to ship it and charge YOU storage. Then I needed my boxes put on the ground, contacted Uhaul online chat and the person said they would be ready for my movers. My son waited 5 hours for that to happen for the movers. I will probably never use Uhaul again.

Communicate that you will be arriving late to your future customers. My movers charged me double due to your lack of communication. UBox was delivered backwards. Made it challenging for my movers to get my goods out. UBox was also parked with the end you open facing a bulkhead!

Staff are rude and untrained. There are no staff on site in Gorst, so you have to drive in the horrible traffic to their store in Bremerton if you need anything. Unresponsive by phone & email.

We where asked to switch the location of our original drop off point to this one. There was no clear instructions about where to leave the vehicle. After a long day of moving, it didn't give us peace of mind to leave the truck outside the gate, wondering if we should've not left it there. But if seemed to have worked out alright so overall were pleased.

Did not inform me they were "under construction" so they couldn't let me use my storage unit after 6. So for anyone who needs to access anything after a normal work day they will lock you out and tell you it's not their problem. I will never go back to this location and I will probably not use U-Haul again.

I use this location exclusively due to their service, flexibility and most importantly their custome service. I would pay extra and have just to use this location over one that might be closer.

The truck we were rented was poorly maintained and dangerous. Truck would not turn to the right, we eventually resorted to making left turns to get places. Truck also stalled when coming to a stop, leaving us with a dead truck when we came to stop signs, further making stearing impossible. Dangerous, should never have been rented.

Location needs improvement. The office is ran out of a trailer that is in pretty bad shape. The equipment was very well maintained and operated exceptionally. Employees are top notch and deserve a professional environment to work in. The cosmetic lack lustre of the location would not stop me from using this U Haul site in the future. But it should be noted for the employees sake, they need a better office to work out of.

Very unfriendly who check in Uhaul. Did not tell me who she was when she came out and did not have paper work ready to check in. And charged me addition charges because I change location on drop off and rude on phone and would like to know why different charge that was apply to my account

I was quoted 379 and ended up costing me 493. I will shop around next time. Then we where told that there would be storage there wasn't. Then when we got to storage we had to buy their locks and their insurance. Seemed like bait and switch.

I would not recommend this location to my worst enemy! Was treated great by Cami on check out, but when I tried to return early, the lady that was in the trailer DISRESPECTED and IGNORED me. Their Phone message states they are open M-Th and Sat from 7 am to 7 pm....I returned to the establishment at 550 pm to find the gates locked and a lady in the office counting the money....when she ignored me, I had the wife honk the horn...and the lady yelled something at me and went back to counting her money and ignored me again....after standing in the fricken rain for 15-20 minutes, I tried to call the business number....when they don't answer, it transfers to an after hours U-haul number and I spoke to a rep that state he thought they were open until 6pm on Sat...he informed me that they were an after hours drop location so I just left the trailer outside the gate! Your phone message states you want to make sure your customers are satisfied...so you record your phone calls.....I am not satisfied! Even thou Cami was great.....I would not recommend to anyone....and I surely will never return!

Nicole was very nice, down to earth no bs Would do business again! As for the bs rate on the back of the van $19,95 in town rate Ad $11 for insurance Ad $59 cents per mile x 22 in my case It all added up to 48 and change + $9 for gas So that's $57 for 4 hours of use, still not awful but be aware.
