Location was a cluster. Hard to get in and out. Employee was not very personable. Needed the truck and the car hauler in Eugene but had to goto Bend to get the hauler. Had it reserved for weeks. The car hauler had a broken taillight on delivery and lost it completely somewhere around chicago.

It is a very challenging time these days with staff shortages and all the other worldly problems and the staff at Uhaul Bend on North Hwy 97 is an example of good work ethic and great customer service in my opinion.

Julie B.Backing down the hill into the location is one thing to pick-up first thing in the morning when the place is mobbed with overnight drop off/first thing returns that were not processed yet. Having to back UP the hill after dropping off, hours after opening, because the location's employees are too lazy/inattention to detail/can't be bothered to keep returned rentals they are cleaning confined to only ONE of the TWO lanes designated for through traffic at the location is a minor irritation to be sure. The employee checking me in being RUDE and using a CONDESCENDING tone of voice to tell me (paraphrasing) "If you pulled in, you can back out." before going into the store when I started to ask how to get out because the through lane I was in was too blocked to safely maneuver as intended without moving a rental truck completely back over to its lane (vs. straddling both lanes) was unnecessary and uncalled for. The cattywampus rental truck blockage could not be seen until already committed to the lane and 3/4 pulled into due to the location being in a hole (bottom of a small hill) vs. street level. I will NOT be renting from this location again if that level of inappropriate customer service is acceptable. Been renting U-Hauls for nearly 30 years now and, wow, 100% unacceptable. I will NOT be recommending the location to anyone and will tell them about this negative experience if asked. How can you improve? Fire that guy as it's clearly baked into his personality (I was the only customer outside, no stress occurring from customer mobbing) and hire people who will exhibit and extend appropriate level of customer service to every customer every time.

I was so happy they were open on Sundays because we moved from Washington and had to get our stuff in a storage space that day. Cody and the team were friendly and patient as everything was busy. ¡Gracias!
Jessica D.The trailer leaked in a rainstorm while using it to move my stuff in town. The after hours return system times out instantly and even if I put in the code as fast as possible or gave the system a little time to process, IT NEVER WORKED. That is the worst system and the $20 service fee needs to disappear with a non-functioning system. Also talking about the return system I tried to create a user profile in Uhaul.com and the system glitches out and timed out and PREVENTED me from creating an account to try and return/ manage my order/ rental. Hire some 3rd party IT people and debug the system. The in- house IT aren't finding the problems.

BRADLEY WILLIAM F. | Overall ExperienceAfter reserving a 10x15 outside access unit online 5 days in advance, and being shown the unit I would be getting, I arrive on move-in day to find that my unit has been rented out to someone else. Additionally, they now have ZERO inside or outside units of that size. I was told I could pay $50 a month more for a 10x25 unit which I didn't need. But wait, the employee tells me that oops we already reserved that unit to someone else, and has to make a phone call to the woman that reserved it to see if she still wants it. By some random act of chance, she didn't, and I was able to get the 10x25 unit. Being that I am moving away in less than a week I don't have time to search for other available rental units in the area, so I'm stuck having to rent from the incompetent staff at Uhaul self storage of Bend. Stay FAR away from this facility. Either it's a bait and switch to get you to spend more money or the staff don't care to hold your unit for you after you already reserve it with a credit card online. Horrible customer experience. They didn't even offer to take any money off the storage unit after they made the mistake. We won't even mention that they have zero medium or large moving boxes and zero packing materials available in their store when I arrive.. Moving is stressful enough, this company only makes things much, much worse. Buyer beware.

You found a loop hole in the paperwork and chose not to insure our goods. What your company did is criminal. I am not threatening action as I know you work for an entity who would rather waste money than do the right thing. So yeah… not very "content". The help line said to go to the store and they can refund you if you hadn't used it yet. That worked out fine but I was still charged 9.95 for a lock that I never received? I'm not sure if the lock was already attached to the unit because I never went to unit itself. All I know is I have a charge for a lock that was never given to me. Now the other 4 people will not get the unit they reserved. This system makes no sense. Why would u-haul let you reserve a storage unit and then not have any available?? The system should show when units will be available and only allow you to reserve accordingly. The same goes for the trucks and trailers.

This was the only bill I have had to call and pay over phone every month because the website wouldn't do what I needed and then I didn't trust it to take my payment and apply it correctly.
