This place over charged me for 3 Days I didn't have the truck. I returned the truck the same day I got it and put the amount of gas that I got it in. I got scammed by this place. I would never recommend it. They blocked my phone number and I can't contact them.Timothy A.

Staff were friendly. The server was down and so they didn't have the reservation and had very limited ability to make a rental without access to the server. I returned truck but had no access to the automated return system. If you want to go digital then please make sure you have either a reliable system or backup plan.paul J.

The truck was a health and safety risk!! They let our truck go in winter conditions with bald tires all around!!! We got stuck everywhere and it was so scary driving it. The tires had zero tread and were worn to tue belt in areas, no way that truck passes a DOT inspection. We had to keep the truck for an extra day because it wasn't safe to to drive it the first day. I told the representative when we returned it and he laughed and said â€œya this one probably shouldn't go outâ€. I'm going to be filing a BBB complaint. U-Haul could care less about the safety of the the renter it seems!!justin L.
I ordered a hand cart with the truck and it was not given. I did the self pick-up. It said it would take ten minutes on the website but the server kept going down. 6 am was my scheduled appointment and I was there 15 minutes prior so I could get everything done. I was there for 45 minutes and still wasn't done going through the process when I lucked out and an employee drove in at 6:30 to start his shift at 7 am. He brought me in the store and took care of my checkin from there. I was there for a total of 1:15 minutes before I was able to get in the truck. It was a rough start but the drop off was fast and easy.Emily B.

Overall it was a great experience - however, I rented a truck and the bed was full of snow. That wasn't something I wanted to be dealing with when I had stuff to move. Also, the parking lot was covered with compact and slushy snow, which made several vehicles get stuck. The staff were SUPER helpful with getting vehicles unstuck, but someone should have tended to the lot so that didn't happen.Chad B.

Well I rented 15" truck with a dolly .They were already closed and I picked the vehicle myself but they didn't put my dolly inside. At night no where I could find dolly so my worked delayed about 3.5 hours.ILYAS F.

For some reason, our unit would always set off the alarm when we would unlatch it. This happened every time. I brought up the issue with staff and the manager on duty. The manager said he'd take care of it, but then there was no follow up. The issue continued.Jack B. | Overall Experience
The staff at the Meridian location in Bellingham were amazing in the face of disaster. I went in yo pick up a tow dolly in the morning of December 17th and the computer system was function OFFLINE! So the mob of customers who had all done the pre-check-in process now had to go thru the whole process again. But your 3 gentlemen worked flawlessly together to keep everyone calm and get everyone processed and on their as quickly as possible. All with big smiles, and still greeting everyone who walked thru the door. It was a very impressive display of character.bryan F.

Front desk is a little stress at first, but eventually the person warmed up and was very helpful. The driver pulling up the truck could have said hello and here is your key, type of thing. I was a bit confused about the new way of self service / pictures, etc. I could have used some help.Ho C.
When renting a cargo trailer, it should be common practice to grease the hitch to ensure the tightest hold. It should also be required to check tire pressure. While the Merdian location always has the size I need, it appears to be operated by a bunch of kids who don't know much about how to secure a hitch.Spring P.

I drove the truck 15 miles and was told the fuel was full. It was not. I had to put in $62 of gas into it to return it full. So the truck was poorly maintained, it was not accurately described, and cost me nearly as much to fill the tank, as the rental itself.Seth B.

Door of the trailer was really tough to open/close, very sticky. The location the trailer was in when we picked it up was horrible; it was in a tight parking area with barely enough room to get it out after multiple times of pulling forward, reversing. We had to start at an angle surrounded by other trailers/trucks/equipment. A truck next to us happened to get rented at the same time and that's how we managed to make it out of there. It would have been much easier if they staged it somewhere else.SHANNON M.
Honestly not much! The female representative at the counter was extremely proficient in completing the paperwork and truck truck procedure. If anything, perhaps she might have been a wee bit more customer service oriented vs ignoring us while we stood in front of the counter for some time upon returning the vehicle. Provide a few places for customers to park. Having to park on a narrow side street up on the curb is ludicrous. I expected my van to be side-swiped because its clearance is so low I couldn't get up on the curb, and i didn't have time to deal with it.Gregory S.

The rental pickup truck had been in a wreck (evidently it had been stolen) and it was in bad shape. I had to spend a LOT of time inspecting and reporting problems before even driving off -- time I had to pay for. That was completely unacceptable. Also, I tried using the app to pick up the truck and that failed miserably.Neal L.

I appreciate this location getting me in and out as quickly as possible, but my biggest complaint is that there is no parking. You get incentive to bring the Uhaul back to the same place, but it makes it a bit more difficult to do so without the parking. There seemed to be almost too many trucks at this location dorment in spots that could manage a good number of customer vehicles.Kayla R.
