I made a reservation 2 days in advance. Was notified 3 minutes before arriving to pick it up that they had no trucks vans or ANYTHING to rent to me. I had plans for a move that were totally disrupted by your company's incompetence. I will NEVER use your company again. ZERO stars!!Randall H.

Made a reservation two weeks ago for a 26' truck at the Oddie location. Less than 36 hours before moving (6pm Thursday before a Saturday AM move) I was told the truck was unavailable. The phone agent tried pointing me to Incline Village which is 22 miles away as the crow flies but is actually just short of a 1hr drive each direction over a mountain pass. Finally got me a 20' at Virginia. I ordered multiple packs of pads under the impression from the checkout person they would not be charged if they were not opened. Because I did not get truck size I wanted I had to make two trips costing me extra hours and mileage. Could have been done in a single trip with the 26' truck. When I turned in the truck the person did not print my receipt when asked. When they finally did and I picked it up, I noticed I got charged for a bundle of pads I did not use. When I questioned it a very young looking man said in a snotty tone, "You reserved them so you have to pay for them. Otherwise I could have gotten money for them from someone else". After all the screw ups Uhaul made, that was the response I got. He acted like he was doing me a favor. Terrible experience and I will be sharing this story with anybody I know who is planning on moving. What started out simple went downhill fast after the reservation was placed.Brandon K.

Actually help the customer and offer actually feasible solutions when customer service is called. This was the worst rental experience I have ever had. I will do my best not to use uhaul in the future. I was directed to an abandoned storage business that I booked through uhaul. I did not get actual help until hours later and was only told I need to get the truck back and could not even leave the truck at the location I was redirected to in another city. It wasted gas and mileage and I got no help with that. This whole moving experience was very poor! I'm very upset. Would not recommend to anyone.Keana R.
After confirming a reservation and extending it for additional time, we arrive and find out we have a truck for approximately 14 hours. Uhaul has the actual worst reservation system and many times we have arrived to no truck, overbooked trucks, missing reservations. The people are this location, specifically Trevor I think, who I spoke to and told me he'd extended my reservation, did â€œnot recall the convoâ€ when I asked him what happened to the reservation. We will be using Penske going forward as they do not have these issues with their reservation systems.Federico G.

This 2nd location was fine. The 1st location: not so great. 1st location: Left site with truck w/gas tank at 1/2 and engine light on. Advised to return to 1st location. Sent to 2nd location for different truck. Don't believe alleged communication from 1st site to 2nd site happened. Verified by personnel at 2nd site. The cashier I initially worked with was about as unfriendly as she could get without being outright rude. She seemed miserable and was checking texts on her Apple Watch periodically throughout the extremely brief interactions we had. She looked hung over. The last uhaul people I interacted with were at least please tell to do business with.Scott V.
I rented a trailer for all couple hours. Pi ked it up around 4 30 pm and told em i would have it back around 10. Everything was good. I had the trailer back an hour and a half earlier than i had said. I dropped it off in the same spot i picked it up in, as i had to work early in the morning today. Then 8bget my receupt via email this morning and there is an extra 20 dollar fee for returning it "afterhours." i was never notified of that charge being applicable. I have rented and returned trailers after hours many time in the past and never had to pay any additional charges. I recommend letting future renters know of this charge ahead of time. Especially when its know the trailer will be returned during "afterhours". Had i known this would happen i would have kept it until my lunchbreak today then returned it. I figured it being able to be rented at opening the next day would be a better thing for uhaul, but apperently not, as i was charged 20 bucks for doing so.TIMOTHY M.

I have 1 complaint. I ordered a dolly on line. It was a tall dolly I could move boxes with. Well they sent me a flat 4 wheel dolly. Didn't need that I have 2. Don't know what happened but it caused problems That's itDeborah S.

I didn't have a positive experience because I paid for my rental and the key wasn't in the lock box. Customer service was good. I was granted a credit for good portion of my total bill, but I had to pay twice and wait for the original rental payment to be refunded on my card.Mooneyes L.

NOT related to this specific location: Please check that your system is indeed releasing update emails. I am told that I was notified by email that my pickup location had changed due to truck availability. I have no record of this email, and was almost charged an additional $300 from my movers since I couldn't get my truck in-time to meet them when scheduled. Additionally, there was a text that released immediately after my my rsvp for the truck, which mentioned a different pickup address. I didn't review this text, thinking it was just confirmation of having made an rsvp. Please delay update texts so we realize it's an update. Additionally, please start the text with something like "Important CHANGE to your Uhaul Reservation" to call attention to it needing to be reviewed. Thanks, CaryCary C.
I don't know what was going on today but both employees were accusatory, antagonistic and extremely passive aggressive. One of them was the manager. It's a shame because me and my family always go to this location. Not anymore. There are too many other options to put up with employees that have zero customer service skills.Kelly K.

Even though my reservation I had made two weeks ago was canceled due to a system outage and thus lost me my rental through no fault of my own I'm grateful for the tenacity of the staff working on 4/30 & 5/1 when I was fortunately able to secure another reservation.
